beautiful views

Our family (parents, adult kids and spouses) had a lovely stay. The kitchen is great, the living room is very nice, the bedrooms are good, the hot tub is good, and the location near beach access at the clubhouse is great. A few small problems with the thermostat setting (we almost froze the first night) and the fireplace not lighting were not answered unfortunately. Overall I recommend this house.

Great view in a nice golf course location but home was in need of care/interior refresh.

We enjoyed our stay but the home doesn’t appear as nice as the photos. Namely, the kitchen is older with butcher block island, older appliances and sink. But the wood floors are the real negative. The wood floors are very scratched and just aren’t up to a current standard. With the scratches it gives the appearance that the surface isn’t clean. The gas fireplace had a note next to it that indicated it was not working and was reported about three weeks prior to our visit. The home was otherwise well maintained.

Bodega Bay winter get away

We had a lovely time, weather was terrible, though not unexpected. The house was great, very well appointed, which we appreciated. Will stay there again.

Lovely home

Loved the home with such a beautiful view. Loved the decor, the kitchen was stocked with more than enough. We enjoyed our family time playing games and we loved ping pong. We had a little tournament. Walking around was beautiful and the beach was close and loved flying kites. We loved the drive to goat rock. Next time I come I will plan to golf.

Beautiful location

This place was absolutely gorgeous. We had an amazing time. We needed a location relatively close to Redwoods, Napa Valley, and San Francisco because we had to get all that in within three days. We enjoyed Bodega Head better than any of the sights we saw all weekend. I highly recommend this home for your stay.

Lovely home in a nice location.

We rented this home for two weeks and the house was quite adequate for our needs of family coming and going to be with us. The beach toys, books, and indoor toys were great for the little ones, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment, the beds were very comfortable. The location of the house was great. The view beautiful. We thought we’d be able to use the tennis courts but learned that we could not. That was a disappointment as we are tennis players and had hoped to be able to play. The only downside of the house was that the carpets were quite dirty and the doors and railings were very grimy.

We enjoyed our stay. The house has amazing views! Kitchen was well equipped! Beds were very comfortable! We will book this home again !! Only issue we had was the fireplace, we had to have maintenance guy come fix it. And the Bbq grates need to be replaced.

Beautiful Views

The view was incredible! The house very clean. There were amenity issues that Vaca Casa accommodated us for, however the day of is never a good time to hear that your plans are changing. I would recommend VacaCasa with a caution that the day of things could change. I do believe they did all they could do to make us whole, and I truly appreciated that.

View is amazing!!! House has tons of room for a family of 4!

Garage parking and ping pong table a bonus. Kitchen has essentials for making food at home. Little towns near by are expensive for sit down meals sobgrab your groceries before going to the property because everything is 30 mins away. Property is close to horse back riding, state parks, fishing and the redwoods. The bay is nice and quiet so we were looking for that. Linens are rough and not enough blankets. Property could have been a bit more clean. Water pressure in showers are low.

Beautiful place, needs a little upkeep

We stayed here a few months ago and loved it, and came back again with additional family members. It's an absolutely gorgeous home and wonderful location. Lovely view, great kitchen and family room space, a little deck looking out on the ocean, a hot tub for relaxing. The downsides: The downstairs ocean view bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable (the upstairs bed is also very hard but there's a memory foam topper that makes it very comfortable; we found this under the bed and had to put it on ourselves). While we were there, the balcony door handle came off and almost locked us out on the balcony, and the downstairs sink was leaking; we informed the property manager (although there was no response), so hopefully, it's fixed soon!

Awesome views

This was a great rental house, nicely laid out with a huge master suite. I enjoyed using the fireplace in the bedroom since our stay was in September and it was cool in the evenings. It was very clean upon arrival and we didn't have any issues during our stay. However, I will say that the beds we're very hard and not comfortable at all. We didn't get a good night's sleep the whole trip. The kitchen could use a refresh but it did have everything we needed (paper towels, dish soap, soap & shampoo, salt, etc.) We have stayed in several rental homes over the years and this house was fantastic. I would have given it 5 stars if the beds were comfortable.

Fantastic location

Beautiful view, lovely neighborhood, walk to beach. We really enjoyed the location. Kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was so nice to have. I would stay here again. The three bedrooms were a great layout for us. My kids loved the ping pong table and close proximity to the beach. My only complaint is that while this home had a sign indicating that it is not a pet-friendly home, the pillows and couches and blankets in the living room had animal fur on them. One of the blankets that was rolled up in a basket was covered in fur. I'm not sure if this was from a previous guest that ignored the restrictions and brought their pet, or if the owners have pets, but we found the fur unpleasant, and two of our family members with allergies were sneezing quite a bit. I did not notice fur in other parts of the house, just the main living room. The couches and pillows need a good vacuum and the blankets need to be washed to try to remove the fur. This may not be part of the regular housecleaning service, but is something that seems needed if animals have been in the house.

Poorly maintained and not clean, but beautiful views

House has not been properly maintained and is showing wear and tear, e.g. leaky faucets, broken towel racks, beat up floors, etc. In addition, house had several cleanliness issues that made us question if it is actually cleaned in between visitors. It did not appear to have been vacuumed (floors were very dirty upon our arrival including hair and food on floors, shower had hair in it, tables, counters, etc did not seem.very clean. We found broken wine bottles outside. Upon our arrival, the carbon monoxide detector was beeping with a dead battery. We could not find any of the specific battery in the house and reported it to Vacasa. We were assured the issue would be dealt with, but it was not. The house has incredible views of Bodega Bay, and a great location, but was otherwise a disappointment.
