The house was very pretty, loved the layout. Was very bright and cherry. However, we did have several issues. The master bathroom was NOT clean at all. Ceiling fans were NOT clean. There was only two steak knives, one small skillet that was not really usable, we had to go buy a skillet. The electric grill that was provided was broke so we had to go buy a grill. The two bedrooms that had tv’s, they were so small, we laughed when we saw them. They should have been placed in the kids rooms and larger ones should be purchased for the other bedrooms. The main clock in the house didn’t have a battery in it and looked like it was 20 years old. None of the resort amenities were in working order. Also, after booking I realized that the pool wasn’t heated, that was a real bummer and I would not have rented the place had I known that.

For the reasonable price this home was perfect for our needs with 3 (almost adult) children who wanted some privacy. Davenport is within an hour (with traffic) of universal studios and has lots of nice restaurants in town. Really enjoyed the large tub and the pool. The pool water was cool even on the hottest days. This wasnt an issue as the rental is very reasonable- but bring extra toilet paper, dishwasher pods, etc. Ran out in the middle of the night not realizing there was no extra.Also- bring fans for the smaller rooms, they stayed pretty warm overnight, my 2 younger ended up sleeping on the couch.

Good Evening Ryan, It was my pleasure to have you and your party as my guests and I am thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at "Villa Serenity " and would like to return. We have had guests stay at the villa for different reasons, some for the Theme Parks, family get togethers for special occasions and groups such as yours who visit for the golf and relaxation. We will continue to do everything we can to accommodate all our guests during their stay. Once again Ryan thank you for your booking and for taking the time to submit this wonderful review. Hoping to have you back soon, Vida

Well kept house and pool

The house was as stated in the description on VRBO. All the appliances worked. Everything was clean. The adult beds were comfortable. The twin beds are fine for younger kids, but not adults; not comfortable. Traffic and distance was an issue. Everything was 40 minutes away. We had the pool heated during our stay. If not, the pool

Retirement Getaway

We enjoyed the home, the pool and the way it had a conervation area behind the house. We got to watch many different kinds of birds while floating in the pool and sitting on the patio. Only downfall of the trip was the overwhelming traffic that we encountered every time we went anywhere. Our fault. We should have known being that close to Disney Attractions.

Perfect location!

We had a great time! Location is perfect. Our children range from 6-20 and we all had a great time. I love that the pool door has an alarm. It really helps you sleep better at night knowing that any young children could not “sneak” to the pool without an adult. Our 6 year old has Autism and doesn’t do well if his routine is not followed. He didn’t have any issues. This isn’t just a vacation house- it’s a home. We would definitely visit the villa again.

Beautiful property but needs more cleaning

We had a great experience, but there were a few things that could have been better. The showers in all the bathrooms were really dirty. Also the cabinets in some rooms were dusty. In the master rooms closet there were spider-webs.

Ok but not close to parks

The place was clean and actually as pictured. I won’t take that away from the residence. The TVs were extremely small in the bedrooms. They were smaller than computer monitors. There were no extra paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags or spices. The pool was very cold but might be nice in the summer. It took us more than an hour to get to the parks everyday. So, this might not be the place if you plan on going to the parks at a decent hour. But if you’re looking for a clean, safe place, it would be nice

Summer 2023

Planned a vacation and MIL’s 80th birthday. Was a wonderful place to stay. Lots of room for everyone. I have OCD and cleaned before I left. Only thing for cleaners to do is wash linen.. lol. But overall had an amazing time, was relaxing after just going through breast cancer and treatments. Only issue I had was the couches had food and trash under cushions and under couches was good and cigarette butts. Cleaning crew needs to be more detailed oriented. Thank you for opening up home for our stay.

Great family home

Neighborhood was nice and we felt safe in the gated community. Entry to the house was easy with the QR code for the gate and the code for the deadbolt pinpad. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 teens. The kids made use of the pool (we paid to heat it ane glad we did as it was chilly a few days) and games room. Plenty of towels for pool and bathrooms and extra bedding. The kitchen is well equipped wity the essentials. The only negative would be there is no outdoor grill. There is a plug in electric grill that we used and got the job done but was a bit tricky to get the hang of. We would definitely return here again and give the property 5 stars

The villa is located around 20 minutes drive from Disney and 40 minutes drive from universal depending on traffic. It is located on an estate which is very safe and secure and well kept. The nearest publix supermarket is a five minute drive away next to a Burger King and bars and restaurants around a 10 minute drive away. It would be good to have a welcome pack on arrival which provides some detailed information on the local area. The villa itself was extremely clean on our arrival with plenty of spare bed linen and towels provided. The facilities such as the washer and dryer are excellent and the kitchen has plenty of glasses, crockery and utensils. Some cleaning products and bin bags would have been useful to have been supplied.Bedrooms are all a good size with plenty of storage space and the beds are comfortable. It would be useful to have a hairdryer supplied in all bathrooms. The pool is very well maintained and a good size with plenty of furniture on the patio area but could do with some additional lighting for the evenings. The games room is a great feature but very hot as there is no air con in there. Overall we were really happy with this villa as two families sharing as there was plenty of space for everyone. The cleanliness of the villa was excellent which was important to us and the location is good as long as you are happy to drive.

Wonderful home away from home!

We stayed at this propery during our children's April vacation. The home was very clean, well kept, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Everything was as pictured on the site. There was an abundance of towels for everyone to use, the pool temperature was consistently pleasant and so was the interior temperature of the home. The neigborhood was very quiet and relaxing. The grounds were well kept and the bugs were pretty much non existent which was a very pleasant surprise considering the climate. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend the property to others and will definitely consider staying here again the next time we're in Florida. Eventhough the location of the property was further away from some of the central attractions we still found the property to be in a great location. The traffic was not too bad and there were plenty of local places near by to get what you needed. What was also nice was the fact that the peoperty manager was able to accommodate an earlier check in at the last minute at no extra cost. Thank you Rachel. Everything in the home was clearly labled so there was no guessing - a plus! The only thing I would recommend is a few more rolls of toilet paper and trash bags, at least one roll of paper towels and a sponge in the kitchen. We bought our own supply of these items, but it would have been nice to not have to. Despite this, we had a great time at this property.

Absolutely stellar Rental and owners!

When planning a trip I spend hours reading and re reading these listings. Finding just the right place for a family of 6 that is affordable can be very daunting. As soon as I saw this place I booked and from the photos I was really excited. Walking into the actual property was even more exciting than finding the booking! This value for the home is incredible!!! The house is gorgeous. My family was actually scheming on how we might get Vida to sell it to us! :). The beds are comfortable, the garden tub in the bath was a fan favorite with the kids and tired parents alike. And the pool!!! We never even made it to the community pool. Our own private oasis was all we needed. Oh and the garage game room! This momma of 4 got to do laundry while practicing my pool skills. I never knew laundry could be so enjoyable. The drive to Universal was about an hour thanks to traffic. So plan to get up early if this is your reason for the stay. But don’t let that deter you from this listing because I doubt you’ll find something of equal quality and affordability. Lastly, Vida was on top of her game when it came to communication. She answered all questions promptly. Sent welcoming emails and wished us well when our stay came to an end. I hope to travel here again and book this listing every time. Thanks!
