Lovely home in a great neighborhood, beautiful view, comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need even for an extended stay! Lots of books, dvd's, games, and the kitchen and pantry are stocked with everything you could possibly need! Plus beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, pool toys! Beautiful home

Lovely home, had everything we needed or could think of wanting. Pool and views were incredible. Definitely need a car, nothing in walking distance. We have 3 boys and on the first night, after 12h of travel, we let them jump in the pool from 9:30-9:55pm (quiet time 10pm) - next day had a noise complaint, even though quiet time is after 10pm, so noise rules are strict . Mark was super helpful and made everything very easy. Great stay.

Awesome View - Awesome House!

Words and pictures cannot capture the beauty of the view from the backyard of this wonderful rental property. We spent most of our waking hours outside enjoying the view and the weather! In addition to the backyard oasis, the home is so awesome and was perfect for our family, which included our grown children and our grandkids. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep as well as being able to share in the beautiful surroundings. My husband is in a mobility scooter, and this property was as accessible as we have ever found anywhere. We did have a couple of hiccups, but nothing that would prevent us from returning to this incredible accessible home. The neighborhood is quiet and there was no walking to the beach, but we found that, after getting in the car, we were right in the center of everything in no time at all. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the owner Mark was amazing to work with. He and his lovely wife met us when we checked in and showed us all of the amenities of the house. EVERYTHING we needed was supplied - we have never been to a more well appointed rental home! The game cupboard, library, video selection were second to none and the kitchen had everything we could ever need. Just a fabulous experience all around. Thank you Mark and Lisa for allowing us to rent your San Clemente treasure.

Beautiful view!

We had a nice stay as our son recovered from surgery. Everything is on one level which made it easier for him to get around. Owner was very helpful and great to communicate with, we really appreciated his kindness. The downtown area has a lot of quaint shops and restaurants that is just a five minute drive from the house.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is great. The backyard is spectacular, great views and the heated pool was delightful! Mark was an excellent host, very responsive. The property, while being up in the hills (hence the amazing view), was so conveniently located to everything - 3 minute drive to the grocery store and about a 6 minute drive to the San Clemente pier. We would definitely stay here again!

It doesn’t get better.

I’ve stayed in a fair number of vacation rentals and it just doesn’t get better than this. The house didn’t scream “rental!” and truly felt like staying with a friend. Great pool, awesome layout, and a kind host.

Family fun!

The house is located in a charming older neighborhood. It boasts fantastic views of the ocean from its backyard pool and Jacuzzi. It is extraordinarily well appointed including a shed full of beach accessories. The kitchen has every cooking tool known to man. Very comfortable cooking for a family of six in the kitchen. Mark, the host, lives within five minutes from the property. He is helpful and hospitable and bailed us out on more than one occasion. After a 14 hour Disneyland day we inadvertently locked ourselves out of the home and he was there within 10 minutes to let us inside. The home is spacious and great for a family of six or seven or eight. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Mark is a great host!

Absolute paradise to chill out , in sunny San Clemente !

First off , this property is absolutely amazing ! We were in the area for my wedding , my family and I called this place home for 7 days and it could not have been any better ! Mark is an A+ host and met us there on arrival to show us the house . He was very quick to answer any of our questions and went out of his way to make sure our experience was the best it could be . The amenities at the property are absolutely everything you need and way more . The backyard oasis is the main attraction . We spent most of our time here . The pool / spa / lounge / bbq area are resort quality and the view is second to none . From am coffees to evening sunsets in the spa after a long day , it was perfect . The area is fairly strict for noise and traffic out front, but it is very reasonable for the high class area you are located. This property was perfect for our chill wedding week. Thanks again to Mark for being a wonderful host !

Brilliant experience

We stayed for 10 days with our 3 children and absolutely loved it. The house is amazingly well set up - everything you could need in the kitchen, bbq area, loads of towels etc, which makes everything very easy. The view from the pool area is fantastic, the pool itself was an amazing temperature and Mark was extremely helpful and responsive. If you have small children you do need to be very alert with the pool but we managed fine. The location is great and we were able to easily visit Laguna beach, do whale watching in Dana point and do day trips to Disneyland and San Diego zoo but we also loved hanging out at the house. We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly recommend this place.

Best Vacation Ever

Came in from Tennessee for a wedding and stayed for a week. The house was beautiful and the view was amazing! My family really enjoyed our morning coffee with the spectacular ocean and downtown view. After a day of shopping and hangin at the beach the salt water pool and grill were the place to be. The house is comfortable and inviting perfect for our family to hang and feel at home. Mark is an excellent host quick to respond when we had a question and very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We will definitely stay here again and are already looking forward to it!

I am a retired firefighter and enjoy living in San Clemente. I have lived in San Clemente since 1994 and love the weather, the town, and I especially love the beaches. San Clemente has busy kid friendly beaches near the pier and T street, and also has world class surf spots like Trestles Beach. I love to share my passion for the outdoors and the beauty of nature. This includes hiking along the local beaches, stand up paddle boarding the local waters, or peddling along the local hillsides. I look forward to providing guests with an experience that will provide lasting memories.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I love this property! My wife and I found this property for my parents back in 2013. We have owned an ocean view home in San Clemente for many years and have enjoyed thousands of spectacular sunsets. Many nights my wife will yell out "Sunset Alert", and we all are compelled to stop and enjoy it. I wanted my parents to enjoy that same spectacular scene night after night. This property certainly accomplished that objective. The views are expansive and unobstructed. When you combine these views with a solar heated salt water pool that is situated just right to take advantage of the sight, it is truly amazing! The other key feature about this property is the access for someone who may have difficulty with stairs or small transitions into and out of various rooms. We looked at many properties in this neighborhood that had two or three stairs into sunken living rooms or into the property. Not many homes have the combination of features that this home provides. It is truly a rare find and I love it!

This home is unique because it combines a number of extremely useful amenities. It has spectacular unobstructed ocean views. It has a salt water pool that enjoys the sunny western exposure and takes full advantage of the view. The way the house is situated on the property the pool area is largely protected from the prevailing SW winds making pool time even more enjoyable. The single level house makes access easy for everyone. The great room environment creates a feeling of togetherness among the family in the kitchen, at the dining table, or in the family room watching TV. The bedrooms have an open feeling with outdoor access through the French doors. The master bathroom is its own sanctuary with a jetted tub and sky-lighted shower. There is a whole house water filter that makes the water feel clean and soft; and the sink is equipped with reverse osmosis filtration which provides crisp clear drinking water. There may be other houses that may provide fancier amenities, but this house will provide an enjoyable and memorable experience!
