Vår lilla stuga sitter på en gräsbevuxen öppning som är omgiven av skog, på vår bondgård. En charmig 35 minuters bilresa till Aten, en livlig stad som har många restaurangalternativ från gård till bord. Eller en 20 minuters bilresa till Pomeroy. Stugan är fullt möblerad, köket är utrustat med ett urval av saker som behövs för att skapa och njuta av en måltid. Utforska våra vandringsleder som leder genom vår 300 tunnland bondgård. Fiskestänger tillhandahålls så att gästerna kan njuta av vårt damm för fiske och släppa fiske eller simma.

The property is on a farm. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore, but it certainly felt safe and and relatively quiet, except the crickets and early morning bird chorus!

Beautiful property

A great getaway off the beaten path! The owner was always quick to respond to my questions leading up to the stay and even anticipated some of our needs once we were there. Would definitely go back again! FYI be ready for a little hike to get to the pond, but it’s so worth it!

Weekend getaway

Everything here was clean, well kept and beautiful! The owners are so welcoming and accommodating to whatever you may need. There are so many things to see and do, you can explore on your own or they are happy to give directions if needed. It was so peaceful and quiet. The pond area is incredible for swimming and fishing. Lovely Cabin in the Woods

This is a lovely cabin. It has pretty much everything you need. My wife said all she needed was a washer and dryer and she could stay forever. Adam is a wonderful host and helped with all the questions we had. Definitely putting on our list of places to stay again and recommending to friends.

Beautiful and secluded

The cabin is small but very cozy. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. Very quiet and secluded. If it wasn't for Wi-Fi then you would have no cell service. 4x4 would be required the last 50 yards in snow as it is all up hill and steep.

Great getaway from society!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. We loved how isolated we were from everything, but still within driving distance to towns close by. The house was quaint and had everything we needed. It has been a long time since my wife and I have slept in a queen size bed (we have a king), but the bed was much more comfortable than we expected. You definitely get a good workout when you hike the trails, but it was still enjoyable. We will definitely look at staying there again.

"Middle of nowhere!"

"Middle of nowhere!" and this is exactly what we wanted! Awesome property with good trails and a fishing pond. Do not expect any cell service - and that was perfect for our needs.

Outstanding! Fully modern cabin, far away from anything. If youre addicted to tiktok, or face book, or that sort of crap, dont go here. You are offline. Awesome! I almost didnt leave. This is a cabin, done right. It was very humid, and im old and fat, so the hike to the pond was a near death experience. Thats my fault. Still loved it. Cabin a.c. was great, so i lived.

Beautiful place but the driveway is intense

The place was lovely and surely a quiet retreat in the middle of nowhere (though not far from Wysteria). The kitchen was great and the bed was comfy. However, the driveway was really difficult to ascend. I got stuck twice the first night though it was dry and in warm weather. I spent 30+ minutes rocking the car out and then tried again. I found the trick was to make sure I built up enough velocity on the relatively flat part at the bottom of the drive so that I could make it up the really steep part. I made it up the remaining nights of our stay, but it always felt on the edge. I drove a 2WD drive, and presumably, your experience with the driveway will be a lot different with better traction. I'd like to argue that 4WD should be a minimum requirement for renting this otherwise lovely place.

Symphonies from the birds, crickets, frogs and animals entertain you daily. Cook out on the grill or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. Explore our local Farmer's Markets, several historic towns with shopping, antiquing, artisans and good eateries. This place offers the perfect setting to create special memories here in our little slice of paradise.

All of our accommodations have Wi-Fi. But please be aware...while on our farm and within a 2- or 3-mile radius, guests will experience VERY LITTLE or NO CELL SERVICE depending on your cellular carrier.
