Great house

We loved the layout and decor. It’s so convenient to the beach and the community is peaceful. The home needs a little maintenance but otherwise it was a great house. We would definitely stay here again.

Graduation celebration

The property was nice the neighborhood was quiet the walking distance to the beach was perfect. We had enough sleeping arrangements for the 14 people in our party without being on top of each other. We were all very comfortable.

Would not book again

At first check in was easy, but I noticed there were 2 beds without linen and blankets so I reach out to see if there were extras. They said to look in all closets which I did and there were none. They told me someone would bring some by. 2 hours went by and nothing so I reached out again and they said the same thing but still no one came. By 10pm and still nothing, I ended up having to go spend $100 on my own. The next day I realized there was no extra toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags. Again, I had to go buy my own. The stairs were full of dirt and animal hair. The pull out couch was full of candy, French fries, hair, dirt, trash, etc. it was definitely NOT cleaned properly prior to our stay. Would not advise to stay here. Look elsewhere.

Not Great!!!

While being there I was told to move out the trucks from our parking spots, due to some workers having to do a paint job in the balcony. I totally uncomfortable, not the best experience!! That should be taken care of while no family is on vacation!!

Loved it!!

This place was great. They have everything you need. We were a family of 14 and it accommodate everyone comfortably. Very clean place. The staff was in touch with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going good. We had no issues. We defiantly recommend this place for a mini vacation. We all loved it. Defiantly we will return.

Great place !

We had a great time on our spring break trip. There were 6 adults and 3 children and the space was sufficient. It was nice having the grill & hotub right in your private backyard. Only inconvenience was having to walk through the bedroom to get there. The dishwasher heating cycle wasn’t working but other than that all equipment worked fine. It was close to the beach and was very quiet. We enjoyed the community pool. I would recommend this property. One last note- it was difficult to get in touch with the property management with questions before or during our stay. Our overall experience was great though!!

Beds suck but cute decor.

If you like the kind of mattress where you fall into it and can’t get out, then you’ll like these beds. Most people like some firmness and none of the beds except the trundles were even remotely firm. The freezer has no shelves so if you’re bringing frozen food to cook you just have to pile stuff in there. The ice maker was also broken on our stay. The AC could not make it down below 75 so if you like it really cool, you’ll be disappointed. The pool was nice but the splash pad is broken which was a bummer for our little kids. Super cute decor and super close to the beach.

Great Place!

Everything was as expected. Very clean. Enough beds, linens and towels for our group. Cute decor. Close to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place for a large group. We had 10 of us there.

Great til we found a cockroach

As listed. Beautiful property. All good til the last night I found a cockroach in the upstairs master bathroom shower. I texted the property manager multiple times and did not hear back until I left a review with “Vacasa”. And then it was just a “sorry”. Very disappointed and grossed out.

Great vacation rental!

Everything is wonderful, great access to all areas of the island and towns, all amenities in the home you need mostly, and very clean and comfortable for our family of 13. Only issue is we have been unable to contact the property managers for questions and needs answered. Other than that, this place is perfection!

Gorgeous stay

Property was well maintained- clean and easy access to beach. We rented this one due to having bedroom and bath on main floor because my Mom is elderly. My only wish is hoping there would be more grab bars in that shower ( like metal sturdy ones). The best part of kitchen was that there were many plates and utensils- so nice to be able to go while week and only run dishwasher on last night. My only complaint- a hot kettle for tea would be nice. But I understand that’s not a Texas thing. Rooms were gorgeous- decor lovely. Tv remote a little confusing - took a while to understand them. But again it’s more to do with me being from other country.

Excellent Birthday Escape

I rented Vitamin Sea for my 39th birthday. I live local, but my family came to town to celebrate with me and my house cannot accommodate that many people. I wanted us all to feel special and have plenty of space. Our ages range from 4 - 62. This house was exactly what we needed. Cozy with throw pillows and blankets and decorated with casual beach items reminding us to relax and enjoy the beach. It has a great layout! There are two bathrooms and three bedrooms upstairs along with a day bed loft/sitting area. There is one bathroom and one bedroom downstairs with a door that leads to the back patio area. Perfect for those who have trouble climbing the stairs or who might want to stay up later than others. A bedroom upstairs has a balcony with a view of the Ocean. Ideal for sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails. There are TONS of beds! 3 King size, full size bunk beds with a bottom trundle, a trundle day bed and the L couch downstairs is a sleeper. Everyone had their choice of sleeping space without having to play the "I saw it first" game. The galley kitchen has ample space for family cooking and isn't cut off from the living room. So, we could all be together while cooking or clean up was taking place. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances pots, pans, dishes, bakeware, and utensils you would want - no corkscrew was found, though. Even had a toaster, coffee maker, blender and crab boil pots! But, you will need to bring your own spices, coffee, foil, etc. There are TV's everywhere. SIX TV's to be exact -two TV's (living room and daybed area) have cable, the other four (bedrooms) have ROKU. Not that you would need TV while at the beach, but it was nice for bed time and early mornings. We kept finding more neat things about this place. For example, the downstairs shower has a party light shower head!! When the shower is running, the shower head flashes and changes colors. We didn't necessarily need it, but it gave the house a good laugh and opportunity for silly photos. The house is pet friendly. But, its so clean you would never know that pets visit here too. There was a doggie bowl and waste bag holder on the counter welcoming any pet that would arrive - an adorable touch. However, there is no grass in the back yard. It is all rock. So, if you plan to take a pet, be mindful of that. The hot tub is large and has the party light feature. The kids had a blast in it! Crystal, the property manager was very friendly and accommodating. She texted me before check-in to introduce herself and let me know I could contact her if we needed anything. We wanted to use the grill one night. We found that it was out of propane. I texted Crystal. She arrived in less than 10 minutes to pick up the empty and replace with a full one. Fantastic service! The community pool is slightly heated. Not too warm like a hot tub would be, but not cold like you would appreciate in the summer. It was ideal temperature for the chilly March evening we spent swimming there. We have noted this place on our Beach House options and would definitely stay here again.
