Great view

Great view and location! Easy access to beach. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Neither TV worked, so I just used my iPad. Decent WiFi but if you have TMobile, limited cell. I emailed owner a question before my visit but never heard back.

beautiful view/far from the beach

Was told this was 50 yards from the beach. If I could have flown, it may have been. As it was the walk to the beach was longer than we wanted esp since we had to jug the rental chairs/umbrella. The rental company, unlike other SC beached, cannot set the up for you ever day. It wasn't convenient. The unit itself was very nice, The pool was exceptional. The homeowners pay for the most basic of cable packages, no HD stations, but all the Spanish language and shopping channels you can stand. Three of the days we had no TV reception in the living room. Comcast was to have come but no evidence that they did, The owners also do not provide pool access. That is an extra charge as is the fee for the pool towels which you must use. Going cashless is a convenience but the restaurant tips are added for you and are more than 20%. All told, we won't be going back, view or no view. We felt nickeled and dimed to death.

Quiet and Relaxing

This property was exactly as described. Pictures are accurate. The view of the sound/ocean is beautiful and is a very short distance. It is a natural beauty with deer, rabbits, one cute lizard and many different birds to see and listen to. It was clean and inviting. If you watch TV it only had local channels. It didn't bother us at all though. Neighbors were quiet & friendly. Does have a flight of steps to get to rental, We loved the area and the rental. Especially the back deck. So relaxing! There is a boat rental place nearby, and it was fun renting the boat! This is a great place for mature couples and families.

Great place

My wife and I celebrated 10 years of marriage visiting this lovely condo. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Normally when we rent a beach place the bed stinks, but it was very comfortable. Pros: - close to the river (just as good as the beach and not near as crowded) - lots of space to spread out - nice comfy bed - clean and comfortable couches Cons- - you will want a bike or golf cart if you intend on enjoying the beach club pool or actual beach access - the counters are really low. I’m 6 2 and had to leave over to do anything. Not a bad thing just interesting.

Seabrook condo

Clean, comfortable condo. This is our 2nd year staying at this same condo. It seemed cleaner this year and maybe a few updates. We love the location for the waterfront view, quick access to the beach, and fantastic sunsets. King bed is comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen are a little tight but certainly doable. Kitchen is well stocked, although it’s challenging to find space to store food items. The deck is the best part, and includes a door that takes you down to the beach path. The condo is a great spot for couples to enjoy a warm getaway. Vacasa was quick to respond to any question and to provide a missing key.

Great Place

Great location on second floor with fantastic ocean views. Beach is a very, very short walk and there are few people. Condo was well equipped, had everything, was super clean, and stocked with initial items, Only drawback if there was one was the limited number of TV channels available. We have Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. but could not connect - maybe some pre-printed instructions should be available in the future when you need to watch TV due to bad weather. That being said, the weather was fantastic so TV was only watched at night. Can't really complain about anything with Pelican Watch 1378 - we will be back again.

Spring vacation

This villa was more spacious than expected and had 2 nice beach chairs available that we weren’t aware of. The view is awesome - we saw deer and dolphins daily. The closet and pantry space is small and the unit could use some updating. The cleaning was subpar - bed comforter was dirty, floors were vacuumed but did not appear to be washed, bathroom rugs were filthy and shower liner was missing.

A few days at Seabrook

The condo was bright and clean. Well equipped for simple meals in to enjoy the outstanding view off the private deck. Accessibility to the beach was great! This made it easy to enjoy long walks on the beach especially in the evening to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. A perfect place to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday. As stated above the location was perfect but there is space for improvement of the condo. The pullout bed mattress is horrendous. Made for uncomfortable sleeping for the week. Also the price of the amenity card and gym access is pretty steep. In the off season the amenity card is not worth the price but to gain access to the gym you need it. Owner should consider including card in the rental price. Cleanliness: overall ok but when the sofa. Ed was pulled out there was a child’s car underneath as well as a few Cheerios. Not cleaned very well since the last visitors. Overall a great few days spent I at Seabrook. I would like to come back again!

A lot of money for 5 cable channels

The condo itself is great . Clean spacious and a great view. However I wish the advertising matched what you actually received. They indicate “ cable tv “ .. yeah 5 channels!! That’s it !! I had more channels when I watched sky king as a kid ! I invited friends over to watch the football game .. nothing !! WHAT ? All I ask is you be upfront with me before I purchase and comitt . Just say 5 channels available, and I would have gone elsewhere. Kinda sad to be deceived.

Excellent location, very quite, on the water. The apartment has everything needed. Only issue is the main tv in the living on which neither streaming tv neither the cable tv work.

The get-a-way we needed

We came off a stressful week and to be able to sit on the deck and watch the gorgeous sunset, dolphins and pelicans was the breath of fresh air we needed. Location is perfect. Sunsets from the deck and long walks on the beach as the sun came up. Comfy couch, 2 full bathrooms, everything needed to rest and relax. Check in was so simple. We had bikes delivered and rode to lunch each day. From Pelican Watch to the marina is about 3 miles, where there are several restaurants. Harris Teeter is just a bit further to stock up on any supplies, along with other shops and restaurants. We didn’t need the amenity card during our stay. We would love to return and would stay in the same unit!

Pelican Watch Villa

The location of this property cannot be beat. It is a perfect spot for walking the beach and getting to the club house. With the exception of salt and pepper the kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of the things you need for cooking and eating in the unit. That is the good. The less good is that there is not an amenity card included which added an additional $25/day or $150 for a week. This felt off since there were already a lot of fees associated with the booking. (Just an aside, this booking is actually through an agency called Vacasa.) As others have echoed, this property desperately needs an umbrella or awning. We did not think it would be such a requirement in October, but it really is needed. Some of the nicest times of the day were times we couldn't use the porch because of the heat. Another negative was that when we arrived, there were a couple of dirty towels left on the bed which is just sloppy in my opinion. The unit itself is tired with peeling wallpaper and due for an update.

nice getaway

the rental was very clean and well stocked. nothing against the rental, we forgot their were 18 step on the stairs. we are in our late 60's and will need less steps even though we like the great view from the second story.

My son's and I enjoyed the abundance of wildlife we could see off the balcony

We enjoyed watching the deer in the morning and in the evenings the dolphins were amazing had a great time fishing at the beach caught some huge stingray overall our stay at this beautiful condo was amazing thank you
