Great Place to Stay for Event in Downtown Boston

My friends and I stayed here the weekend of PAX East and it was perfect! The place was very clean and comfortable and walking distance to the T.

Perfect for our longer stay

Our stay at the Piano apartment was pretty great. The hosts were very responsive to any issues that came up and friendly, too. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Very close to numerous restaurants and stores for any shopping needs.There were enough linens, the heating worked well, the oarking space was wide and the handrails in the stairs were helpful. The internet stregth was great and we were very comfortable staying there for numerous weeks.

Salem Trip

We wanted to take our girls to Salem around Halloween but didn’t want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Salem. This was the perfect spot for our family. It had everything we needed for our weekend getaway.

Very Happy with our stay

We came to Boston for our son appointments in downtown. This was a perfect fit between price, and the ability to get downtown pretty quickly for appointments.

nice clean place

We all had a great time. Place was clean, well stocked and close to shopping and highways. check in process was easy. The only minor issue was that the mattress was very noisy and springy.

Quiet neighborhood in a good location

Very clean apartment. Really convenient for our Billie Eilish concert at TD Garden and quick trip from/to the airport. Owners were very helpful and accommodating to let us drop off our luggage early. Our granddaughter is a musician and was over the moon about the baby grand piano!

Good stay

Place was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Location wise also very centrally located and easy to get to whatever we needed. We found out closer to check in that parking on site was available for a daily fee. Would have appreciated knowing this at the time of booking.

Very nice 2 bedroom mid level accommodations in Medford with easy walking distance to Fellsway shopping center and very close to Boston. Clean place with easy access and very responsive communications with Leonardo and Maria.

Great Location

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was immaculate and well decorated. Not very far from the subway, which we took everyday instead of trying to drive into Boston. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

Great alternative to hotel

Large 2 bedroom with full living room and kitchen offers a better value than most hotels downtown. Convinient location by the T and highways. More authentic experience of the city staying in this house then a corporate hotel. Highly recommended.

Thanksgiving in Boston.

We spent Thanksgiving in Medford and met up with our children who attend college in Boston. We brought Thanksgiving to them and had a wonderful stay here. Kitchen was fully stocked to prepare such a meal, plenty of space for all of us and the piano was an extra bonus!

Decent location, could improve amenities

The location of the house was convenient to sights around Boston. The inside was in good shape and the wood floors and brick wall are nice touches. The kitchen was lacking in supplies and there were very few towels for a family of 4. Suggest restocking the kitchen with basics such as baking sheets, sponges for cleaning dishes, and kitchen towels and providing additional bath towels.

Terrific rental

This spacious two bedroom apartment had everything we needed. There were plenty of spaces on the street to park, it was close to the Wellington T stop so we could choose whether to drive into Boston or take the T. The piano in the living room was a real treat! Leonardo couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. A winner.

Very Clean, Good location

This apartment is well furnished and very neat and clean. The kitchen however needs more items to be able to actually cook a meal, more utensils etc and a full size coffee maker. A few small additions like some containers with covers, plastic wrap, ziplocs, a few pantry items like cooking spray etc., can really make things easier for travelers who are trying to cook in a place like this, there is only salt, pepper and creamer. Towels and sheets were all very nice and there are 3 window air units so you can keep it cool if it is hot. The house is very near to stores and restaurants and great trails to run/walk on are less than a 1/2 mile away. The biggest complaint we had was the noise from the people in the unit upstairs, their walking shook the dining room light and made a lot of noise and they were up very late and we could hear every step they took. A table and chairs out on the deck upstairs would be nice too! I will be back in the area again and would stay here again.

Medford review

Property was nice and ranks a 5 on all of the factors listed above. That said, the property lacked a few things that would have made it a 5 overall. Would prefer to give a 4.5 in general. Feedback is that it was difficult to find the parking behind the house even with the aides provided, especially in the dark. It might have helped to have a video showing how to get to the parking. Also, the beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable. Perhaps a foam mattress topper or new mattresses would help. Finally, there were some stains on the ceiling that appeared to be from a previous leak. It would be nice to have those repaired and painted. But, even with these points of feedback, would stay with this property owner again.

Be Careful

House is charming and quaint. Be careful- there is a ring camera, no notice of it and the owner is watching. There is no notification of it on the listing and I did not consent to being monitored (invasion of privacy). Another patron commented on one of the couches being outdated with the faux leather coming off of it - it is true. The owner made contact via text message and VRBO inbox with broken English. The house is close to anything and everything but is an older home. Read about parking because it is not available without a separate price (should be included). The owner will try to make a comment because he has on all other less than stellar reviews.

Exactly as described! A lovely spot close to tons of amenities and the train station

The property was lovely! A beautiful combination of new and old, the overall feel was very comfortable and welcoming. Couple little things that could be take into consideration for minor improvements/additions: - bed in the master bedroom creaks and squeaks loudly (each time my husband rolled over through the night, the noise would wake me up) A piece of plywood over top of the slats would easily solve the problem. However, the sheets were beautiful and soft, and the mattress was very comfortable! - there was only one dish towel, but no dish cloths. We had one roll of paper towel but couldn’t find more if we would have run out. - the welcome binder I think needs a few updates, but still had very helpful information in it. - the house has 2 units, and the back door of our unit exits to the shared laundry room. The door handle on this door is one like you would find on a bathroom - like you could open it from the outside with a flat headed object, and therefore it would be easy for someone to come in unannounced. We pushed the small kitchen table over against it for some extra security, as it butted against the fridge when we did so. The location is fabulous… many amenities less than a 5 min walk away, including a pharmacy, 2 grocery stores, pet store, coffee shops, restaurants, a gym, and more! We were also about a 10 min walk from the train station that took us right into Boston in about 15 mins. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Home for Christmas

After losing my home in Lambertville NJ courtesy of IDA, I wanted to rent a place for a week to spend time with my son over Christmas. I chose this spot because it was close enough to my son's apartment at Tufts. Turns out my son had emergency lung surgery at the beginning of the month and he stayed with me the whole week. Leonardo was gracious from the beginning. In my madness I was having trouble with the online check in (my bad) and he personally came to let me in, show me around and even offered to help me take my "stuff" in! The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and absolutely lovely. I could definitely live in this space. It is well located and as advertised close to roads that lead to anywhere you want to go in the area. Tufts was 12-15 minute drive away; you can't get from here to there in any part of this area in less time due to traffic patterns, etc. Having lost my home (and all of my Christmas things) I bought myself a single ornament - an angel which I hung from the dining room chandelier which I inadvertently left behind. But Leonardo had the housekeeper retrieve it and is saving it for me for my next trip to Medford. He was responsive to every question I had - even on Christmas Day! It was perfect for my son and me. We had a very sweet Christmas in what was like an oasis for both of us especially under the circumstances. Highly recommend. Perfect price point as well. Thank you Leonardo. See you next time!
