Virginia Beach Relaxation Station
My sisters and I had a wonderful time making memories with our father. We chose the Relaxation Station because of its location to the beach, and to Norfolk Naval Base. The Relaxation Station was a great choice for us. All of us being over 55, and our dad being 91, we all felt it was time for us to each have our own rooms, and this house did not disappoint. While it can use a little bit of a refresh (some paint, and the main bathroom could use a renovation), the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, all rooms have nice size TV's with Firesticks/Roku's, and are very easy to navigate. It's a great place to stay. Close to the beach (3 blocks), and the naval station was a close 20 minute drive from the house. The backyard is awesome, we had a fire in the firepit one night, and it was lovely to sit outside by the fire. The house faces a main street, and can be loud at times, but we got used to that, and the jets from the naval base flying over was just COOL! The owners of the house, Tom and Allison were terrific to work with, very responsive, which is an absolute plus. If we come back to VB, we would definitely stay at Tom and Allison's home again.
