Tyst avskildhet på en Working Ranch!

Om du letar efter en lugn tillflyktsort som erbjuder en mer unik upplevelse, är HD Ranch pensionat platsen för dig. Detta extremt charmiga 1200 kvadratmeter stora fritidshus ligger i slutet av en mil lång uppfart som skär 100 hektar betesmark. Pensionatet har ett smakfullt inredda sovrum, vardagsrum, bibliotek och kök med ett loft som innehåller ytterligare två sängar och sittgrupp med TV och DVD-spelare. Utanför har du en veranda och ett däck med utemöbler och ett annat däck med badtunna.

Se hjortar som betar i en närliggande betesmark medan du blötlägg i din privata badtunna; vandra genom vår utsökta blommaträdgård; eller helt enkelt sparka tillbaka och njuta av lugnet. Efter avkoppling kan du dra nytta av några av landets bästa mountainbike- och vandringsleder, forsränning, fiske eller en av Durangos exceptionella matupplevelser. Också bra som jaktbas.
På vintern har vi också fantastiskt längdskidåkning på fastigheten eller mycket nära bergen, snöskor, hundspann och skidåkning ...

We LOVED our stay at HD Ranch! Frances went out of her way to make our stay a memorable experience for our son. The cabin is the perfect size and getting visits from the pups each day was one of the highlights of our entire trip! We will definitely be back!

We loved this cabin on the horse ranch! We could go out to sightsee during the day and come back to quietness. Highly recommend staying here. Cabin is exactly how it’s pictured so there were no surprises.

Our stay at HD ranch could not have been better. A very secluded ranch, but not very far from the town of Durango. The house was clean and the surroundings exceptionally beautiful. Our stay far exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to other traveler.

This house is a dream! It was exactly what I was looking for! Sadly the weather did not cooperate but that didn’t stop me from having coffee on the covered porch. The house was immaculate! And there are three adorable hounds that came to visit us! The highlight of our morning.

Truly heaven on earth! France’s property is a slice of paradise. Durango Dream

The Ranch is a perfect, quiet location. Located near Durango, we were able to venture out to the Mesa Verde and Silverton. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

Paradise! Beautiful 360 degree views on this working horse ranch. Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable stay in the bunkhouse. Francie is a gracious host and communicates well. The horses are lovely and well taken care of. We fed the horses carrots and the dogs biscuits…so fun! We had the best time making memories!

I am a 76 year old woman who has been training horses and teaching horse back riding for 40 years now. I have this ranch for the love of horses and the beauty of Colorado. I am an avid hiker and also breed Black and Tan Coonhounds who love to share their love for the many guests that come and visit. I thank every guest who comes and visits and have met so many wonderful people! I am so ever grateful.

If you want a very unusual getaway and enjoy the beauty of this area with 360 degrees views of the mountains and mesas plus view much wildlife and of course the beautiful horses eating in pastures.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Everyone has told me that the guest house is much better than the pictures. You have your own deck to view the wildlife and two decks to watch the stars. Inside it is warm and inviting to relax. Everyone says they have never relaxed more than when they are here. Many enjoy walking the ranch and enjoying the views and horses.
