Shepherd Cottage -

Historic Shepherd Cottage Àr en av de ursprungliga överlevande tidiga stugorna i "Old Grayton Beach", som grundades 1880-talet. Denna stuga har uppdaterats med ett nytt kök, centralvÀrme och luft, med inriktning pÄ att behÄlla sina ursprungliga egenskaper. Det Àr en liten stuga och Àr perfekt för en romantisk semester för ett par.

Stugan ligger inbÀddat i höga tallar och omges av palmÀngar med en stor veranda med gungstolar och gungstolar. Det Àr ett bra stÀlle att koppla av, och inom bekvÀmt gÄngavstÄnd till Gulf Beach, Western Lake, Red Bar Restaurant, Zoo Gallery, General Store, Hibiscus Guest House & Cafe, Grayton Coffee House, etc. Du kan ocksÄ hyra cyklar pÄ General Store och njuta av miles och miles av off-road asfalterade cykelvÀgar genom Grayton Beach State Park, akvarell, havet, etc.

Great customer service

The property was super cute and clean. The customer service was great, we locked ourselves out and they resolved the problem immediately. They also communicated well, and notified us the property was 2 hours early and could check in early free of charge!

Cocktails & Hot Water

High ball and shot glasses not available and the hot water heater does not produce hot water to sterilize dishes and utensils. Two showers within 15 minutes; you’re done! Luke warm water thereafter until the hot water system has an hour or so to recover.

Awesome Property!

This is a very clean and comfortable property. We had a little snafu upon arrival. Air conditioner had gone out. It happens when it is Africa hot in FL. However, I felt the staff could have communicated that the repair person was not able to make the late night repair. We would have stayed in a hotel for the night as the company did comp us for one night's stay.

We enjoyed the cabin. Although it was next to several homes it was very private and peaceful. Cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Just a short 5-6 minute walk to the beach or riding the free shuttle. Easy walk to the downtown. The outdoor shower was great after being at the beach so we didn't drag sand into the home. We spent evenings relaxing on the porch swing.

Quaint, historical property in a wonderful location. The rental agency is right across the street and very responsive. I would recommend the property for a couple, but any more than two guests is a tight squeeze.

Fantastic stay. Shepherd cottage was amazing and we will be back. House had a great relaxed feel and was convenient to the beach and local restaurants.

Original wood floors and ship lap- loved the venture into another time - home has so much of original vibes but updated for current expectations - location fabulous and we loved our stay

Underwhelmed with the stay

The cabin was lovely and clean. However we were cold, even with the heat running a lot. Lots of cold coming in through the doors.There was a blackout for a few hours on the second day, which did not help the situation. We understand that is not the owner fault. But when we realized after the electricity was restored, that we had no hot water to shower, we were offered no solution by the manager. We paid a lot of money for this rental and don't feel like we got the value for what we paid. I would not go back.

Grayt Beach “Camp”

The cottage was perfect for our getaway and we had bikes delivered to the property right before we checked in and enjoyed exploring the area, State Parks, and the beautiful beaches that surround Grayton. We loved the outdoor shower and grill and the front porch swing was perfect for happy hour. We will definitely be back!

Cozy cabin with a tin roof porch

We enjoyed staying in this Grayton beach historic home. There is a lot to love about this quirky cabin. The Grayton shuttle makes this location more desirable as they pick you up and drop you off right across the street. The drivers are friendly and helpful - a wonderful service. I’m not giving a 5 star bc the kitchen is lacking and so is lighting on the back porch. The washer and dryer are outside making it difficult to do laundry in the dark or in the rain- the only time i want to do laundry. If you don’t plan to cook or do laundry on your holiday (i hope you don’t) this there is not a thing wrong with this gem! If it should rain while you are there you will love the tin roof on the front porch!

My main issue is I did not realize it was on a busy road. From the photos it looks like it’s in the woods. A few easy fixes would improve rating. Close to great bars and restaurants plus beach although r weather was wet and windy

Ideal location for anniversary celebration!

Being in this super cute cottage and walking to the beach and local restaurants for quick food or live music was easy and ideal. The additional outdoor shower was a bonus for in-between beach trips. The locals and visitors were all very friendly. I highly recommend this experience.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights before family arrived for vacation. This property was perfect! Great location, cute decor, very comfortable, quite, very clean and in a great location. We had several people pass by and say cute house!

Shepherd Cottage Grayton Beach

The cottage was everything we were looking for. Simple, cozy, laid back, close to the beach and restaurants. We will definitely be back, more likely in the fall of the year rather than blistering heat of August.
