Njut av en sällsynt möjlighet att bo i ett av de mest historiska hemmen i Grayton Beach - The Smith House. Ursprungligen byggdes 1925, ger vår senaste renovering huset med alla moderna bekvämligheter samtidigt som den upprätthåller sin sanna södra "gamla Grayton" charm.

Smith House ligger i hjärtat av den roliga och funky Grayton Beach, omgiven av frodig landskapsplanering som omfattar mogna ekar, magnolior och palmer. Det erbjuder en privat oas för gäster som vill ha allt ... en lätt promenad till världens vackraste strand som såväl som ett fridfullt reträtt för att börja och sluta varje dag.

Med välvda tak och synliga bjälkar, är huset inrett i vintage Florida stil. Köket är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för att laga en gourmetmåltid. Det stora sovrummet har en bekväm drottning säng och dubbel-våningssäng rum har 2 extra långa våningssäng uppsättningar för att rymma både barn och vuxna. Huset har flera "smarta" TV-apparater och pålitlig trådlös internettjänst.

Badrummet ger en fåfänga med 2 handfat och en badkar / dusch, och en ytterligare period sänka sänka ligger i korridoren utanför badrummet. Men "gästens favorit" är den helt slutna utomhusduschen som ligger intill verandaen. Rymliga och privata och utrustade med varmt och kallt vatten, kan besökare uppleva lyxen med duscha i naturen under ett bäck av ekar och magnolior.

Och verandaen ... Det är den bästa delen av huset, säkert! Förlängningen av huvudbyggnaden och omslutningen till utomhusduschen innehåller veranda 2 bekväma sittplatser, en rustik cypress matbord och en bekväm dag säng för att läsa och koppla av. Strax utanför verandan finns en stor privat tegelbana uteplats med picknickbord, stolar, en hängmatta och Weber kolgrill. Dimmable overhead uteplats lampor skapa en unik och vacker utomhus middagsupplevelse!

Utomhushallen rymmer 3 gratis strandcyklar samt en stor vagn laddad med all strandutrustning du behöver: 3 stolar, ett stort paraply, kylare och strandflottar och leksaker. Efter att ha tillbringat dagen på stranden, använder gästerna ofta cyklarna för att utforska de angränsande strandstäderna på sen eftermiddag. På kvällen har du en lätt promenad till den världsberömda Red Bar-restaurangen samt flera andra utmärkta matställen.

Wonderful experience! The home has been well updated without losing its historic charm. Owner was very prompt on contacting us almost immediately after booking and all the way through our stay. My wife and I truly enjoyed getting to know Grayton a little more after staying in Carillon the past few years. Thank you Smith House:)

Perfect Vacation House

The Smith House was perfect for our Grayton stay. The home house so much character, while also having all the amenities of home. We loved the exposed wood beams, cozy wraparound porch, and outdoor shower. Everything was clean, and the communication with the owner was superb. The location was great—an easy walk to Grayton restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be staying again!

This home is very special with owners who take great care to provide all you need and more. We were so comfortable here, and the house has great character and history. The location is perfect as it is an easy walk to the beach and also to nearby restaurants. We highly recommend the Smith House!

Perfect Getaway!

This was our second stay at the Smith House and it was wonderful as always! The home is so inviting and has everything you could possibly need! The wagon for beach gear is so handy to pull down to the water. We love everything about this house and our host Kelly is always so kind and thoughtful in helping guests out with local info. Grayton Beach is a must!

Perfect Grayton getaway

This property is truly a gem! We loved the unique charm and history of this special old school beach cabin. The front porch was the perfect place to relax after a day spent on the bike or on the beach. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Kelly was easy to communicate with from start to finish. We are already planning our return to the Smith House- hopefully next fall!

The Smith House is a home-away-from-home: comfort, cleanliness, old-Grayton charm. Kelly goes above and beyond with stocking the house and making sure all of our needs are met. We will return again!

Wouldn’t change a thing-love it here

This place is special. Home is a cool old Florida beach house lovingly renovated and updated, but not too much. Comfy collected vibe. Much thought has gone into the comfort and convenience of the renters. The location is excellent. Beach within an easy walk, as well as a few restaurants and watering holes. And Grayton Beach is also special. It has kept a lower key vibe, and some history, which the neighboring communities have not. If it weren’t so far from Wisconsin we would come more! Thanks for another lovely stay.

Lovely House in a great location

We loved the house – it has so much more charm than the cookie-cutter new builds and we were impressed that there have been only 3 owners in it's 100 year history! Kelly has done a great job of maintaining all of it's original character but with all modern amenities. It was well stocked with things such as spices, coffee filters, etc. And Kelly left us a bottle of wine and fresh cut flowers! The house works well for a couple or a family of four but I would not recommend it for 2 couples as the 2nd bedroom is pretty small and has twin beds.The outside area is awesome but unfortunately we didn't really get to use it as we were there in cold weather – in fact it snowed our last day there - the infamous snow of January 2025. We were able to use the bikes quite a few times our first few days before it got too cold. The bikes were great for getting to some of the other communities but there is quite a few good restaurants and bars within walking distance too. Would definitely stay here again!

Coziest beach vacation

From the moment we set eyes on this home we knew it was special. Set back from the road it seemed different than most other houses we have stayed in. The front porch provides a serene place to read, nap or play cards/games on the large table. Walking in the front door, the pleasant smell, fresh flowers and wine set the stage for a perfect family vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with anything a cook would need. The living room feels rustic and so comfortable it will be impossible for you not to doze off on the couches. The two bedrooms were perfect for four and the bathroom was beautiful as well. We can’t wait to return to this home. Kelly was wonderful, available to answer all questions in a timely manner. Thank you for everything. Another great stay in Grayton!!

The perfect restorative getaway

My 13 year old daughter and I had a heavenly time at the Smith House! Kelly was so helpful before we came and included so much info before hand and when we arrived about restaurants and everything you would need to know. We loved being able to bike or walk down to the beach and WHAT AN AMAZING BEACH!!! i am already thinking about my visit back to those turquoise waters! Even on the days it was cold the smith House was a sweet home to lay on couches and watch movies. So much character to the home. The only issue we had at all was with the construction going on next door every day so we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor areas as much as we wanted to but doesn't look like that construction will be going on forever. Thank you Kelly! Cannot wait to come back to Grayton Beach and the Smith House!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Smith House in Grayton Beach. It was his birthday week and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location, with lots of great restaurants and the beach within walking distance (or a quick bike ride!). The historic house was beautiful, so clean, and had all amenities available to make our stay nice and relaxing. The hosts were amazing - so warm and welcoming with many suggests to make our time in Grayton even more enjoyable. Upon our arrival, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which made us feel right at home. We would love to stay at The Smith House again!!

We loved our stay at this charming rustic historic home in the center of our favorite beach town. From the doorstep it is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The home has had updates to ensure the comfort of the visitors but still retains the essence of the original beach house.Kelly, the host, is fantastic. With her first contact she supplied information about the house and suggestion for local restaurants, attractions and things to do. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. During our stay we had a issue with a smart tv that seemed to have a problem connecting with the WiFi. We contacted Kelly and she came over and attempted to rectify the issue using a phone call to her internet provider but unfortunately that did not work. Kelly then went and purchased a new tv and installed it so that we would would not be without a tv. We would be very pleased to have the opportunity to stay here again.

A Sweet Spot by the Sea

Smith House was an absolute dream! Kelly and Billy were the most amazing hosts and have the house stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The screened-in patio was our favorite spot for breakfast in the mornings and peaceful evenings after a day at the beach! Such a sweet and charming home - we can’t wait to come back!

Quaint, adorable & very cozy cottage style rental house. It was just my husband & l but definitely room to accommodate more people. Very relaxing front porch & atmosphere in general. Walked to many bars, restaurants & shops. Would love to return some day

There is so much to do in Grayton, from swimming, fishing, and surfing in the Gulf to playing in the 'pass' at Western Lake. You can try kayaking or Stand Up Paddle boarding - on the Gulf or on the calm waters of Western Lake - and you can snorkel on Grayton's amazing artificial reef structure, just off the State Park. Nearby you can find a world-class water skiing facility, dolphin cruises, freshwater springs, and miles of hiking/biking trails in the adjacent State Forest. Fabulous restaurants are a short walk away, and there is also a little convenience store, a gym, and wonderful shops and galleries just down the street. Grayton's welcoming white-sand beaches are surrounded by State Parks on all sides, and we have miles of off-road paved bike paths along 30A. Grayton is the epicenter of 30A!
