Njut av en sÀllsynt möjlighet att bo i ett av de mest historiska hemmen i Grayton Beach - The Smith House. Ursprungligen byggdes 1925, ger vÄr senaste renovering huset med alla moderna bekvÀmligheter samtidigt som den upprÀtthÄller sin sanna södra "gamla Grayton" charm.

Smith House ligger i hjÀrtat av den roliga och funky Grayton Beach, omgiven av frodig landskapsplanering som omfattar mogna ekar, magnolior och palmer. Det erbjuder en privat oas för gÀster som vill ha allt ... en lÀtt promenad till vÀrldens vackraste strand som sÄvÀl som ett fridfullt retrÀtt för att börja och sluta varje dag.

Med vÀlvda tak och synliga bjÀlkar, Àr huset inrett i vintage Florida stil. Köket Àr fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för att laga en gourmetmÄltid. Det stora sovrummet har en bekvÀm drottning sÀng och dubbel-vÄningssÀng rum har 2 extra lÄnga vÄningssÀng uppsÀttningar för att rymma bÄde barn och vuxna. Huset har flera "smarta" TV-apparater och pÄlitlig trÄdlös internettjÀnst.

Badrummet ger en fÄfÀnga med 2 handfat och en badkar / dusch, och en ytterligare period sÀnka sÀnka ligger i korridoren utanför badrummet. Men "gÀstens favorit" Àr den helt slutna utomhusduschen som ligger intill verandaen. Rymliga och privata och utrustade med varmt och kallt vatten, kan besökare uppleva lyxen med duscha i naturen under ett bÀck av ekar och magnolior.

Och verandaen ... Det Àr den bÀsta delen av huset, sÀkert! FörlÀngningen av huvudbyggnaden och omslutningen till utomhusduschen innehÄller veranda 2 bekvÀma sittplatser, en rustik cypress matbord och en bekvÀm dag sÀng för att lÀsa och koppla av. Strax utanför verandan finns en stor privat tegelbana uteplats med picknickbord, stolar, en hÀngmatta och Weber kolgrill. Dimmable overhead uteplats lampor skapa en unik och vacker utomhus middagsupplevelse!

Utomhushallen rymmer 3 gratis strandcyklar samt en stor vagn laddad med all strandutrustning du behöver: 3 stolar, ett stort paraply, kylare och strandflottar och leksaker. Efter att ha tillbringat dagen pÄ stranden, anvÀnder gÀsterna ofta cyklarna för att utforska de angrÀnsande strandstÀderna pÄ sen eftermiddag. PÄ kvÀllen har du en lÀtt promenad till den vÀrldsberömda Red Bar-restaurangen samt flera andra utmÀrkta matstÀllen.

A Sweet Spot by the Sea

Smith House was an absolute dream! Kelly and Billy were the most amazing hosts and have the house stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The screened-in patio was our favorite spot for breakfast in the mornings and peaceful evenings after a day at the beach! Such a sweet and charming home - we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Vacation House

The Smith House was perfect for our Grayton stay. The home house so much character, while also having all the amenities of home. We loved the exposed wood beams, cozy wraparound porch, and outdoor shower. Everything was clean, and the communication with the owner was superb. The location was great—an easy walk to Grayton restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be staying again!

Awesome Location -!

Quaint, adorable & very cozy cottage style rental house. It was just my husband & l but definitely room to accommodate more people. Very relaxing front porch & atmosphere in general. Walked to many bars, restaurants & shops. Would love to return some day

Relaxing stay

The house was just as described, it had everything we needed to feel right at home. The outdoor shower was perfect after a day at the beach and sitting on the porch in the evenings was very peaceful. We loved our stay at this charming rustic historic home in the center of our favorite beach town. From the doorstep it is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The home has had updates to ensure the comfort of the visitors but still retains the essence of the original beach house.Kelly, the host, is fantastic. With her first contact she supplied information about the house and suggestion for local restaurants, attractions and things to do. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. During our stay we had a issue with a smart tv that seemed to have a problem connecting with the WiFi. We contacted Kelly and she came over and attempted to rectify the issue using a phone call to her internet provider but unfortunately that did not work. Kelly then went and purchased a new tv and installed it so that we would would not be without a tv. We would be very pleased to have the opportunity to stay here again.

I come from a long line of Walton County natives and spent every summer of my childhood on the sands of Grayton Beach. My husband & I moved here permanently when our sons were born and were lucky to have raised them in this magical beach town. We love the charm and authenticity of Old Grayton, the fabulous beach and lake, the friendly locals, and the quirky nature of our town. We are year-round residents of Grayton Beach and are available to answer any of your questions or help you with anything you need during your stay. We are honored to own the Smith House and hope that you will love the house and our town as much as we do.

If you are tired of sterile, look-alike/feel-alike beach vacation rentals that are poorly stocked and less-than-clean, look no further. The Smith House is authentic, fully stocked, exceptionally clean, and up-to-date. We welcome you to experience Grayton Beach in our special cottage.

There is so much to do in Grayton, from swimming, fishing, and surfing in the Gulf to playing in the 'pass' at Western Lake. You can try kayaking or Stand Up Paddle boarding - on the Gulf or on the calm waters of Western Lake - and you can snorkel on Grayton's amazing artificial reef structure, just off the State Park. Nearby you can find a world-class water skiing facility, dolphin cruises, freshwater springs, and miles of hiking/biking trails in the adjacent State Forest. Fabulous restaurants are a short walk away, and there is also a little convenience store, a gym, and wonderful shops and galleries just down the street. Grayton's welcoming white-sand beaches are surrounded by State Parks on all sides, and we have miles of off-road paved bike paths along 30A. Grayton is the epicenter of 30A!
