Embrace the peaceful ambiance as you stroll to the nearby Indigeny Reserve, home to a delightful cider works and distillery. Conveniently located just 5 miles from historic downtown Sonora, our cabin serves as ideal base for exploration. Discover the rich history of Columbia State Historic Park(15 mi), enjoy the charm of Twain Harte(20mi), or venture to Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge ski resort(35mi). For nature lovers, Calaveras Big Trees (50 mi) and Yosemite entrance (60mi) are all within reach. We look forward to hosting you in our charming cabin, providing a serene retreat amidst the splendor of nature. The perfect Sonora get away! A perfect isolated location. With the nice warm fire at night it was cozy as can be. Would love to come back some day.

The cabin is exactly as pictured in the listing. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Each morning we loved to sit on the porch watching the turkeys, squirrels and deer! We enjoyed walking to Indigeny. This is a quiet, peaceful place with many visitors
quail, grey squirrels, turkeys, jack rabbits and deer! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this quaint, clean cabin where everything we could have wanted was provided. I would have given Forrest and Ginger a ten the very first day just for having the cabin cooled off when we arrived in a very hot day. I can’t say enough good things about our stay in this little haven. Our hosts were right on top of all correspondence and notifications. There standards are high and we hugely benefited. Thank you.

The cabin was good to us

This cute, little, cozy cabin was quiet, clean and located off the beaten track but not too far from the heart of Sonora. It was fun to watch the squirrels, turkeys, and deer from the front porch swing.

Quiet secluded cabin

this cabin has strong roots. An original from this area before it became Apple Valley Estates. Updated and tastefully decorated it offers a quiet place to unwind. Sits on over 3 acres of rolling Sierra foothills. Perfect for a couple and 2 kids who like to climb as the loft is accessed by ladder. What fun

Perfect Gold Country Get Away

This cute cabin is perfect for a couple looking for a cozy and romantic weekend in Gold Country. This is our second time staying at this cabin because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much. It is a short walk or bike ride from the Indigeny Cidery and a short drive into downtown Sonora, with its quirky establishments (like a gun store/bar). Highly recommended.

A quiet, cozy and comfortable retreat cabin.

The property is in a community with large lots, manicured, clean and cleared. Walking around on the roads was pleasurable. It was apple season and the "wild" apples were ripe for picking!
