Family getaway.

We had a wonderful few days of cooking, swimming, and playing around the property. This is an excellent location for family groups with kids. Prepare for a little wind in the afternoon. This is a perfect family getaway.

Disappointed - NOT a Luxury 5 Star Estate!

The home and property is in great need of maintenance! Stains on furniture, broken or old fixtures, and kitchen cabinets. The yard is full of gopher holes and weeds, no green grass as pictured. The pool is the only thing this place has going for it, which is truly lovely and we did enjoy it. However, the hot tub never really gets hot. We asked for the pool to be heated and the first couple days it kept turning off and the owner did reimburse us for those two days. Our family of 7 stayed here for 7 days over Christmas holiday. When we arrived, Marvin greeted us, showed us around and was available for our questions and needs which we really appreciated. However, I would not recommend this place. When I arrived I took pictures throughout the house and property should the owner be interested in what we experienced that was so disappointing.

Palm Springs Getaway

Property was large with a lot of fun amenities. Pool and hot tub were great. Communication with the property manager was prompt. Kitchen was well equipped, and I understand why they don't want condiments and things left behind, but if you like to cook, you will need to bring or buy everything; oils, salt and pepper, parchment or foil, and the like. This was a girls trip but I would definitely come back with my family to make better use of all of the games/activities.

FAMILY TRIP

The property has potential however needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. The backyard is in very poor condition, a lot of weeds, broken furniture, hot tub wont heat, pretty dirty in the back. The interior has very dirty walls and doors. The property manager was very accommodating and nice.

We had an amazing time at the estate. The backyard is very well set up for all activities, and the pool and jacuzzi is amazing. The view with the mountains in the background is great and we will definitely come back!

Beautiful Backyard, Comfortable Amenities, Fun Activities

This is a great property! Marvin was a great in helping us at check in learn all the ins and outs of the property. Communication with the owner was great leading up to our stay too. The backyard is stunning and our family of 7 spent most of the time outdoors. The beds were comfortable enough there were enough towels and supplies for the four nights. As mentioned in previous reviews, the property inside does need some maintenance. We actually had maintenance people come and work on towel hangers in the bathrooms while we were there (We didn’t mind helping as we were outside most of the time). The lawn mowers came during our stay too which was a little inconvenient but we understood it needed to get done. The sofa still needs cleaning; the kitchen cabinets need some repair. But the pool table, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cups, bar area, ping pong all made up for the few things that need fixing. We loved the volleyball, basketball, pickleball courts and fire pit! Since we visited in December, we paid the extra $$ for the heat - and while expensive, we thought it was worth it for our crew. It’s a salt water pool and was warm enough and the hot tub got adequately hot when turned on. There is a motion sensor light inside that would turn on and off randomly - crazy! I should have reached out to Marvin to turn off but we just dealt with it. :-) Overall, great memories created!

Good spot for a girls weekend but a few misses

We were a group of 7 for a girls weekend. The house is cool and overall we enjoyed our stay but there were definitely a number of issues. A few of the big ones: - Whole house needs a deep clean (including the couch which was covered in stains!) - Broken/leaking freezer, loose faucet in bathroom, broken overhead light in bathroom, mirrors falling off the walls - Not enough paper towels or toilet paper were provided for our stay! We barely had enough bath towels. Annoyingly, all the soap dispensers were on their last dregs of soap. - The front gate did not close, which we wish it did for security. This house is on a nice street but the surrounding neighborhood is a bit rough! - The pool is amazing but we were notified less than 24 hours before check-in that we had to pay $150 a day to heat the pool. It wasn't until the second day that it really felt warm enough. Also, you can't heat the pool and the spa at the same time which we found weird! Would not stay here again and probably wouldn't recommend it. There are other great houses in Palm Springs so we were disappointed by the lack of attention to detail given how the house was described. Definitely not a "luxury estate". I will say the house manager was great and very helpful with some of our issues!

Palm Springs Getaway

The house and outdoor space were amazing and the pictures are accurate. The beds were comfortable. The house is a bit dated and some cabinets, etc. are falling apart. We paid to heat the pool but it was broken when we were there/didn't heat up and the hot tub did not heat either, and the water kept draining from it—be sure you check that it has been fixed, It was a bummer to not be able to use the hot tub the entire time we were there.

Miserable experience

I agree with previous reviews about the property manager being awful and the homeowner is much the same. Polyester sheets, dog hair everywhere, broken kitchen utensils, clanking pipes, gaslighting, hidden fees for heating the jacuzzi, blinking light bulbs they take days to fix, outdoor fireplace key was missing, dirty toenails next to the pool, 10 different cameras pointing at the pool that weren’t in the description. It was endless and just a bummer all around. By the time we got to 25 text messages trying to manage our stay — we gave up. Left early. Went to a resort for legit five star relaxation. So many better homes for this same price point close by. Don’t let them treat you badly! And tell you how ‘celebrities love this home’. Sure.

Great for Family and Friends

Tiffany’s house is an amazing place to stay with family and friends, especially kids. The activities are endless with golf, volleyball, basketball swimming, pop a shot, ping pong, air hockey and more. The house was clean and had the perfect amount of space for the 7 of us. The only negatives were that the house itself is a little dated and heating the pool was expensive, not very effective and was a surprise fee that I didn’t see listed originally. But really those negatives were insignificant compared to the positives of the property and all the fun we had while we were there.

Great family vacation!

We loved our stay here, the house is beautiful and the back yard is the best we have ever seen! The owner bought a pickle ball net for us to use, and we played every day. Highlight of our trip for sure! It is close to downtown Palm Springs for the nights we wanted to go out to dinner.

Park like Estate

A beautiful home with an incredible landscaped yard full of fun and relaxing activity. The location is excellent in getting into and out of downtown Palm Springs. The house was spic and span.The bedding was a good high quality. The kitchen is amazing. The property manager was terrific and communicated well and promptly. The owner also communicates promptly. I found the team to be a breeze to work with. Lovely stay!

Great amenities

Marvin is a superb host/manager! He is quick to respond, very helpful and gives great recommendations. The outdoor amenities are perfect for all ages and make for a terrific family vacation. That being said, the interior of the house is definitely in need of updates and TLC. A deep clean would go a long way. Overall a great place and tremendous host!

What a property!

This is a massive estate with nearly everything you need to have an amazing time. We went with my three kids, parents and husband and we will forever remember this trip. The pool is so beautiful and the saltwater was so gentle on my bay's skin. We did everything, from the volleyball and basketball courts, to the barbecue area with hammocks and mini golf. It it such a thoughtful space that is PERFECT for connective family gatherings. We will definitely be coming back. Management was super friendly and easy to communicate with. I know me and my family will always remember this place. Felt like hoe by the time we left.

Hiking, Golfing & Sightseeing

We (7 friends) stayed at the Galvan Estate for 5 nights in November. The property is in a convenient location for a wide variety of activities. It is a gorgeous house & yard with wonderful amenities. Tiffany was a wonderful host, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a Palm Springs get-away!
