The furniture on the rooftop deck was not completely usable - several holes in the wicker seating that made them unable to be used.The towels were damp when we arrived and there was wet laundry (sheets) in the washer - we ended up moving it to the dryer so that it wouldnât start to smell sitting in the washer for the duration of our stay.While sitting on the couch we discovered an old bandaid stuck to a throw pillow (not from us!) and an old piece of tortilla stuck to the top of the couch/wall (again, not from us). The doors/locks were difficult. Many times it took several attempts to get the locks to work right and the doors stick quite a bit once unlocked. (Front door, back door, and garage side door). Windows and blinds also stick and are difficult to open/close.Disappointed that the description of the house on VRBO did not indicate that it was a duplex. The signs around the house warning us of noise/disturbing the neighbors and having a complaint filed made it less comfortable to just enjoy our time because we were always concerned about âlaughing/talking too loudâ or something similar that would cause us to lose our deposit. Knowing it was a duplex with neighbors would have been a factor in our decision to rent the house in the first place.
