We had an outstanding stay for 6 adults in a beautiful part of Croatia. The villa was perfect for our group, with 3 large bedrooms and two bathrooms! Mate is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble. Like others he offered to drive us to the local shops to pick up supplies on arrival and gave us a tour of the local area. The pool & outside area are incredibly clean, and the hot tub was a great bonus. We enjoyed our 20-30 minute evening stroll by the sea to the local restaurants. We also had a bbq on the recently constructed bbq building that Mate is very proud about. Split was about 25 minutes in a taxi with plenty of availability on Uber & Bolt. We would highly recommend staying here to enjoy the area of Kastela & Split and Mate is a fabulous host.

Mate was an excellent host always replied quickly to any questions. An excellent stay with the family 4 adults and 2 small children), for a week in May. The host Mate couldn’t have been more helpful. The villa was beautifully clean and well equipped with everything that you could need. Pool and outside space was well kept and maintained. Nothing was too much trouble for the host who was in hand to help. Would recommend.

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week family holiday in the beautiful Villa Lucas, our host Mate & family were most welcoming and gave us a tour of the local area which we really appreciated. The villa is perfectly located for short walks to lovely beaches, restaurants, bars & small local shops. Mate also offered to take us to the larger supermarkets. We especially enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi & our granddaughter loved the trampoline. The villa was spotless & the air conditioning was present in all bedrooms and living areas.Travelling to Trogir & Split is easy on the 37 bus from the main road. Download the app promit split to purchase tickets & the live timetable . Tickets are cheaper on the app than buying from the bus driver. We would love to return to this Villa, thank you to our hosts , many happy family memories have been made in Kaštel Croatia.

Excellent apartment. Well equipped and spotlessly clean including the private hot tub and pool. Mate, the owner is onsite and gave us excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants (he even gave us a tour of the local area in his car and his son took us to the supermarket)! Great setting with sea views, lots of space and walking distance to supermarkets, cafes, bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

What a trip, the second time we have booked this property. This year we stayed with 3 generations of our family, all of whom had a phenomenal time. This property offers so much & easily accommodates a group of mixed ages. The pool, jacuzzi, play area and mini golf offer endless entertainment. Additionally the location works so well, a beach bar for breakfast coffee, many local fabulous restaurants, and supermarkets in close proximity. Stay here to enjoy the area of Kastela & beyond.Mate & his family were fabulous hosts, thank you all so much.

We have just had an amazing holiday at this gorgeous villa. The house, garden and pool were immaculate - so clean and beautiful.The hot tub was a great treat too and we will miss sitting there with fantastic views of the sea and the mountains.The hosts were very friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with from the moment we booked. Mate met us on arrival and took us for a tour of the area which was so useful. He pointed out restaurants, supermarkets and familiarised us with the local Kaštels - which we totally fell in love with!Mate also gave us a list of recommended places to eat and we enjoyed several of these.We had sunny hot weather so were very grateful for the air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area which all worked very well. The villa had everything we needed and we enjoyed playing darts and crazy golf in the garden.Mate and his wife live on the first floor but we had total privacy at the villa with reassurance that they were there if needed.The villa is in a wonderful position. We could walk to restaurants and cafes and had a short drive to Trojir and Split which were beautiful. We hired a car so drove to Skradin where we got a boat to Krka National Park for the waterfalls. We also enjoyed a boat trip around the islands and a trip to Omis and Primosten.Thank you so much to Mate and his family for a wonderful holiday. We really didn’t want to leave! Nice and quiet place, very good for families with small children, close to Split but not so crowded like in the city. All kind of shops available in short distance. Very cozy and comfortable place.

Relaxing stay

The house had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic. I loved being able to see the sea from the pool. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for meals and games.The host helped to make our stay go smoothly by showing us the best places to visit and eat. He was so helpful during our stay. The beach is just a 5-10 minute walk from the house.

The property is exactly as described , spotless clean with everything you can think you need thought off. Lovely week stay with family

We all (4 adults and 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay, fantastic pool and pool area, lovely views, great location, helpful host who arranged our airport pickup, a great boat trip to the blue lagoon and other amazing spots, a visit to Krka National Park (stunning, a must visit). Loved the ice cold air-conditioning in all the rooms which was a god send as it was 35-40 degrees every day, we really couldn't fault it, highly recommend.

Perfection place to relax and visit Croatia

We had a great time staying in Kastel. The accommodation was better than the pics could make it. We visited both Trogir and Split and spent a day Island hoping. Mate was a prefect host and took around the local area showing us the best places to eat, drink and were the supermarkets were. I think the villa is prefect for families and we would love to return again.

Amazing Stay!

Do not miss the opportunity. This house is amazing, comfortable and large this right between Trogir and Split and just a couple minute walks to the ocean, which you can see from your pool area clearly. There are restaurants bars and beautiful, strolling paths through this charming area of a small Kaštel that line the coast. Mate is a five star host, helpful and friendly and quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again. Very close to the airport and easy access to main roads to get to what you need to get to. Excellent!! Recommendations on things to visit right on.

Gorgeous coastal home, great location

This property had everything our family needed for a fun and relaxing vacation. Home and property were well maintained and provided a beautiful view of the sea. Spacious, light, and airy the kids loved the amenities of pool, mini golf, and trampoline. Property provided easy access to Trogir, Split, and beaches. Mate was helpful in coordinating a boat excursion for us which the family loved. Highly recommended stay.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay in Kastel Kambelovac. The villa is amazing, with great facilities, plenty of space, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location to access the beach and local bars, restaurants and shops. We loved the private pool and made good use of it during our stay. Mate was very helpful throughout the stay, ensuring that we had all the information we needed to enjoy ourselves. Gem in Kaštela

This is a wonderful place to stay in Kaštela! Mate is a fantastic host and has really made this villa a home away from home. We had great communication ahead of our stay and Mate was super responsive during our stay. The location is superb, with a beach bar for morning coffee and many restaurants in close proximity to the property. I would recommend staying here with options to explore the local area, and just beyond Split & Trogir. Thank you Mate & family! We hope to be back next year.

Beautiful find! We hope to return!

A truly beautifully presented property. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The gardens are exquisite and provided plenty of space and tranquility for our young family to enjoy. The pool is a great size and there is plenty of space to choose to sit in the shade or sun! Mate and his family were very welcoming and helpful. Brilliantly located to Split, the airport and Kyke National Park with stunning waterfalls and views. We’ve found a little corner of the world we want to revisit and much to still do we didn’t manage to fit in!

Amazing trip

The villa and setting were immaculate, and exceeded our expectations. The location was literally a stones throw away from the beach (3 min walk) and had food shops close by. The villa is located in a lovely town and is also situated between Split and Trogir, which meant we had new places to visit and explore every night. The host, was very helpful and was kind enough to give us a tour of the area when we arrived. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone. I hope to visit again! (4 adults and 4 month old baby)

We had a great time

My party of 6 people had a great time at Mate Lukas house. Mate is a good host showing us around and always ready to help. The property is at least as nice as what you see on the pictures, very clean and spacious. The pool and outdoor facilities are also very clean and inviting. The property is very well located at walking distance from the beach, restaurants and grocery store. All in all, the six of us loved the place. Thank' s Mate.
