Park Place ligger unikt beläget för en aktiv semester på denna exklusiva North Carolina-barriärö, några steg från Commons Park, 3 minuters promenad från den fantastiska East Beach och 5 minuters promenad från en simtur eller middag på den eleganta Shoals Club.

Huset, idealiskt för en familjesemester, är under nytt ägande och har blivit helt inredda år 2018, med nya sängkläder och möbler. Den omvända planlösningen har en 2: a våningen skärmad veranda för att utnyttja sevärdheterna i den intilliggande parken och ljudet av det närliggande havet.

Den öppna 2: a våningen innehåller också ett stort rum, matsal, fullt utrustat kök, ½ bad och en våningssäng (två tvilling-över-våningssängar). Nedre våningen finns ett sovrum (king) och två extra sovrum (drottning), alla med eget badrum och smarta TV.

En separat crofter har ett sovrum (drottning), minikök, utdragbar soffa, Smart TV och badrum, alla ligger ovanför ett vagn garage, som rymmer 4- och 6-sits golfbilar (både på underhållskontrakt, till säkerställa tillförlitlig och vårdfri transport runt ön), såväl som cyklar, solstolar och strandleksaker. Mellan huset och crofter är en uteplats med kolgrill och utomhus vardagsrum.

Ytterligare bekvämligheter inkluderar medlemskap (tillgängligt för separat inköp) på Bald Head Island Club (inklusive golf) och Shoals Club, utomhusdusch, barnstol, porta spjälsäng och barngrind, veranda gungstolar, sängkläder och en utmärkt lokal fastighetschef som kan ta några problem eller frågor omedelbart.

This was our second stay at Park Place and we just love it! The location is perfect with the park across the street and walkable beach access. Sharon is an amazing host. She is very responsive and friendly. Looking forward to coming back next year!

We loved the property and the location across the street from the park. We enjoyed morning coffee on the large front porch. We were also able to walk to Shoal’s club which was a nice bonus!

House is in nice location - and as advertised by way of beds/amenities. But overall property is in need of some reasonable upgrades for price paid for July week. . Furniture is renter grade at best & some furniture needs upgrades/replacement (Ex - LR sofa stained & coffee table very wobbly). Host was very helpful - but very limited paper & toiletries goods - bathroom soap/shampoo disposals not working. Made multiple trips to market just to get bare minimum to make even until day 2 w/ 3-adults & 2-toddlers In general - we had nice time. House well built, but needs some updating & TLC.

We're sorry our family's vacation home did not meet your expectations, but we feel it's important to provide some context for future guests. The sofa described as "renter grade" is a Pottery Barn sofa. Because it is white, we provide a washable fleece cover to help protect it and make it practical for families with children. We were at the home two weeks before your stay, when all of the sofa cushion covers were washed and the rugs were shampooed. When you texted that additional paper products and soap were needed, I immediately contacted our cleaning and property management company so those items could be addressed. I also spent a great deal of time over several months helping you prepare for your first trip to the island. This included handling your request to reschedule your stay, answering numerous questions about the ferry and the area, and responding promptly to every message and call before and during your visit. We work hard to maintain our home and provide a great experience for our guests. While we respect that every guest has different expectations, we do not believe this review accurately reflects the condition of our home or the overall experience of our guests.

Great family house

Perfect place to stay

We were very happy with this house. The location is great and the house was very clean and comfortable. The photos don’t do it justice. We were really happy with how well equipped the house and kitchen were and the two six seater golf carts worked great. I would definitely stay here again.

Park Place is perfectly located within easy walking distance of East Beach and Mikes Bites. Two of our favorites on the island. We would recommend to any family group looking for a relaxing time away. We love it!

The house was beautiful. It was well stocked and organized. Plenty of room for our family. The porches and outdoor living spaces were very nice. It was one of the best locations we have stayed at. So convenient to everything we needed. The host was excellent to communicate with. Great experience!!!

Excellent home near the beach! Kitchen has what you need and more. The home is clean and beds are comfortable. Bikes are in good shape, golf carts are fast, lots of beach toys and chairs. The owners clearly take care to ensure this property is in great shape for themselves and their renters. The owner is highly responsive and very helpful.

The property fit our families well! The location was great — across the street from the park and a short drive/walk to the beach. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well stocked with nice plates, platters, etc., which was a nice bonus. The property owner was excellent with communication while we were there. Thank you!

For years we've been coming to Bald Head with our extended family. We had trouble finding a house that was close to the beach and could comfortably accommodate 2-3 families. After renting on the island for many years we purchased this home and had it furnished and decorated to be exactly what we were looking for.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Easy walk to East Beach (best on the island), The Shoals Club and Turtle Conservancy while facing The Commons Park. Screened in porch overlooks the park and is great for morning coffee, cocktails and even watching TV. The 5th bedroom in the crofter over the garage is perfect for grandparents, nanny or those looking for more privacy. Our kitchen is well stocked and the property is meticulously maintained.
