We arrived at about 11pm and came into a room with no water in any faucet or shower and unable to use any toilets. I called the 24/7 line, no one could do anything. They all told me someone would call me at 9am the next morning and were putting in my ticket as priority. Couldnât put us in another unit, couldnât tell me if we would be refunded if we went elsewhere, nothing. They expected us to stay there without water for 10 hours (with a potty training toddler) to even get a phone call to see what the plan was. The water miraculously cut on after 2 hours of back and forth on the phone and we were finally able to use the restroom, shower & sleep. I never heard from the property manager the next day (they had no idea we had gotten water back). I finally reached out at 10 to express my concern and frustration that I paid for an extra night to have to spend it worried with no water. They said since it was on the condo not them there was nothing they could do. I donât understand as I rented the condo from Vacation Life properties not Grand Panama. And VLP was the one I had to contact to fix it, not GP. Most condos have maintenance on grounds that would have fixed it that night. But I could not even get someone to talk to me about it for 10 hours so yes that is VLP issue. Aside from that, the condo was filthy. We found all kinds of trash left behind and the floors were so dirty our feet stayed black. Not to mention mold in the shower and having to bring your own toilet paper.
