The Sassafras Cottage was just what our family was looking for! Our host made sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed throughout our stay. It was clear when we arrived that the cottage is well cared for and beautifully maintained.Our favorite part was watching the sunset from the boathouse rooftop and seeing all the deer nearby. Having the dock available for our boat was also a huge plus. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back in the future. We highly recommend the Sassafras Cottage for a relaxing getaway!

The cottage was clean and had e erything you need. The view of the river was amazing as well. I broke my foot prior to ariving and the hosts let us borrow a wheelchair to make our stay more convenient. They were both very nice. We will definitely co.e back again after my foot heals so I can fully enjoy the property.

Comfortable stay with excellent hosts. Nice retreat for a weekend. Quick drive from Philadelphia, so a nice getaway from the city. Go relax on the river!

GREAT Little Cottage

Perfect Eastern shore getaway

We had so much fun during our stay. Suzanne and Gene were so friendly and the girls meeting little River made their day! Beautiful view and the house was incredibly clean and inviting.

Attentive host. Great cottage, very comfortable. The view! What a gem, wish we had more time there. Sitting on the deck over the boat house, we saw three eagles soaring above.
