Byggandet på denna stuga slutfördes i april 2019 i Fort Payne, AL-detta är en helt ny fastighet med utsikt över en vacker damm, betesmark och ett skuggigt skogsområde. Perfekt för avkoppling! Denna stuga har 2 sovrum, 2. 5 badrum, ca 1.800 kvadratmeter, byggdes som en privat bostad. Kan bekvämt sova en fest på fyra med gott om armbågsrum. Utanför bekvämligheterna finns ett badtunna på verandan (med utsikt över dammen), paddla båt, brygga, lager havskatt damm, hästsko grop, vandringsleder, brandplats, kolgrill, wrap around veranda (täckta och avtäckta delar) och picknickbord . Inuti hittar du överdimensionerad TV ovanför en gaspanna, fullt utrustat kök med krukor, kokkärl och en Keurig kaffebryggare. Mudroom med tvättmaskin och torktumlare, master svit har en jetted trädgård badkar, på övervåningen har en förbisejd till botten historia. Fantastisk utsikt över damm, höfält, betesmark och skogsområde. Avskilt område där du kan titta på rådjur och kalkoner komma och gå. Beläget nära Little River Canyon och DeSoto State Park. Amazing long weekend family getaway! We drove up from Louisiana during our kids' fall break and had a great time. We spent a full day just enjoying everything the cabin had to offer - ponds, fishing, trails, livestock next door, hot tub, etc... Truly was a great trip. Fort Payne is a great little town too. We enjoyed a quick visit to Little River Canyon as well as a short drive to Tigers for Tomorrow. We hope to stay here again in the future! Only issue was no Wi-Fi, so make sure you're not trying to work while on vacation! Recommend Rim of the Canyon Cafe for breakfast, and Little River Burgers and Brew for dinner

Check in was super easy. The owner reached out to inquire about our stay and to offer additional fishing opportunities. Property was clean and had most everything we needed. Really enjoyed petting the miniature pony and donkey at the attached pasture.

This is our new favorite VRBO listing ever! Surpassed our expectations in every way.Although we traveled for an event, this is the kind of place you can check in and stay in!Relaxing, QUIET, clean and homey. The property is beautiful and tranquil. Such an easy check in/out process. We will be returning in the future!

Beautiful inside and out! Everything was just perfect for our relaxing getaway. I enjoyed the fishing and hubby enjoyed the hot tub. Our host (Chris) was very nice and helpful. Looking forward to another trip soon.

Great cabin. Very private. Grand kids enjoyed fishing but it was too hot to catch fish (they did catch 3 small ones the last evening). Highly recommend!.

Amazing & Peaceful

My mother and I came down for a long weekend for The Alabama Band Songwriters Showcase. Location of the house is perfect compared to the town. The entire property was serene. The Owners are wonderful. We will be planning another trip as soon as we can. Loved seeing the wildlife: turkey, colorful birds, skunk family(from a far), little frogs and fish. I highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay!!

A little slice of heaven!

We loved every minute at the cabin! Everything we needed was provided and it was all clean and comfortable. Chris was always quick to respond if we had questions and wanted to make sure we were happy with our stay. It is so quiet and peaceful. We made friends with the donkey and miniature horse in the pasture next to us. We walked the small trail behind the house. There was also firewood ready for the fire pit outside. And then, us girls had the hot tub to relax in nightly. The area itself is friendly too! There is a large grocery store with a starbucks inside close by and some fun shops downtown. Theres also plenty of retail chains close by if you want to shop or forget some essentials.

Rustic Cabin

The rustic, mountain theme of the decor was absolutely beautiful. After a day of hiking in the mountains we came back to a peaceful country environment of this cabin nestled in the middle of a cow pasture overlooking a quaint little pond. We enjoyed the grill, hot tub and making friends with the donkey and pony in the fields. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Fort Payne. The location was great. It was a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go with little to no traffic.

Middle of Nowhere Getaway to Return To

It's amazing just how a day and a half can revitalize you in ways you least expect. Sometimes, vacations are going to one location and visiting all the things that place has to offer. Sometimes, it's about staying put and what's there. And we did just that. Even if we caught nothing, the quiet of casting the rod in the water on the dock was worth it. The hot tub, fireplace, the sunset and sunrise through the windows, the animals in the field. The simplicity of where we were gave us the relaxation we needed and I am so thankful for a breath of fresh air. Lyon's Den will definitely be a place we go back to. Everything was as described and Mr. and Mrs. Lyon's were so communicative -- even to the point of following up with a friendly phone call to see how our stay was. My kids wrote thank you letters to them because they enjoyed themselves so much! I'm excited to return soak up more of that cabin.
