Right on the beach described it perfectly, place was clean and any interaction with the owner was quick and professional. The neighborhood is high end and very quiet, we would stay there again for sure.

I stayed with my husband and my sister's family. There were 7 of us total. Check in was very easy! The hostess was very easy to get a hold of with any questions, and she always answered promptly. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and relax. The house is very clean and there is plenty of room in the kitchen to bring lots of groceries. I couldn't really tell from the pictures, but you do have to go up many stairs to enter the house, no matter what door you use. I understand this is because the house is on the beach. The backyard is the beach! The location couldn't be better! There is also an outdoor overhead shower to rinse off your sand before heading inside. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to anyone!

The location is fantastic! Lake Michigan is just steps from the back door. It was great being able to have the bedroom windows open and here at the waves crashing on the shore. The beds were very comfortable and the back patio is a great place too hang out with friends. New Buffalo is so close and has lots of great restaurants. The hosts made themselves available quickly via text, so if we had any questions they answered them right away. The whole process was very easy. Relaxing weekend!

We had such a wonderful few days here. The view from the deck was amazing and there was everything we needed to enjoy time on the beach. The house was very clean and Maria was great to work with. We had 4 generations of women (6 of us) staying here and it worked for everyone. We’d love to go back.

The location is wonderful! Right on the beach! The house was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were great to deal with. I would recommend this property for a family just wanting to spend some time together!

Awesome location

We traveled with a group of 7 - 5 adults, 2 kids. The adults all slept in the upstairs bedrooms and the kids took the main floor bonus room. The house had plenty of space for all of us. We absolutely loved the beach even though it was incredibly windy while we were there (7-11 foot waves!), so we didn’t spend a ton of time out there. But hearing the waves from the bedrooms was the best white noise machine for sleeping. The other reviews here helped - we were prepared for stairs and a narrow driveway. Neither gave us any trouble though. The owner was very helpful and communicative! We would stay again.

Wonderful Home

Enjoyed our stay here. Didn't realize there would be so many stairs. Flight going up to get in the home and a flight going down to the beach. Then we knew about the stairs going up to the bedrooms. If you are young this probably wouldn't matter but to us older folks it sure made a difference. We should have looked more. The driveway was a shocker. Deep incline going down the drive. Best to backup in it. The beach was great. Needed more time to enjoy it more. The house was roomy and very nice. Any questions were answered quickly by Maria. She even stopped by to see if we needed anything. Very nice lady.

Great location!

This is our second time to this property. We love all the activities that are available to use. Very clean and comfortable. Nothing beats the sound of the waves crashing while sitting on the back porch drinking coffee or sipping your favorite wine. We will be back!

On the Beach

Our stay was exactly what we expected—it was on the beach and our dogs loved it as much as we did. I have spent more than 50 years renting cottages along Lake Michigan, but nearly all of the rentals were in South Haven Michigan. We enjoyed everything Long Beach had to offer and we definitely would return—it was an hour closer drive and quieter—very relaxing—good golf courses nearby and very reasonable green fees and the beach is pure heaven—plenty of space and many treasures to find walking along the shore.

Amazing location

This property is in an incredible location. The deck literally looks out over the lake and you can walk right off the back onto the beach. There is not a better location around the lake. The actual house was a bit outdated but very sizable and had some really cool features from the past. Overall if you’re prioritizing proximity to the beach, great views, and appreciate a home with a lot of character, you won’t find a better place. Also, Maria was delightful to communicate with. 10/10 would stay again!

Delightful

We had a delightful time at the house on Long Beach Drive. It was steps to the sand and the view from the deck was magnificent. The living space was more than adequate for the four of us. I have a few nitpicks that are hardly worth recording. The main one is the stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor. They make a sharp turn and can be dangerous for old people like us. My wife and I, both in our 80s, decided to sleep in the enclosed porch like room with the day beds to avoid the stairs. This should be noted in the website write-up. Finally, I must note that Maria was great to work with.

Long Beach Lakeshore

Great location and beautiful views (directly on the beach in Long Beach. IN). Communication from Maria throughout our stay was excellent as we had a few questions ahead of time regarding physical address. She made sure we were informed throughout and was very responsive as questions arose. My family and I loved our time here and would stay again.

Wonderful lake views

Beautiful lake views. Sandy beach. Stunning sunset’s. What else could you ask for. It is a old duplex. Rustic but clean. Very quiet neighborhood. We loved it.
