The house was perfect in every way for our family of 5! 4 bedrooms & 3 baths. And the view to look at the lake every morning and walk down to the lake was awesome. House is at the end of a dead end road which was so peaceful. The house had everything we needed and more. Bob was a great host and would definitely book again in the summer time. Thank you Bob!!

This was our 2nd stay at Bob's property and was absolutely terrific again! Lots of room to spread out, a nice private area along the shore of the bay, and in a very quiet neighborhood. The property is at the end of a hidden cul-de-sac and is an older house with all the charm that they possess. We are really looking forward to next year's stay here! Thank you!

This home at the end the of the road on a peninsula in northern Lake Michigan. Private and a great space for our group (5 adults) or for a family. The great room, kitchen, and upstairs bedrooms are roomy & the kitchen & grill outside are well equipped. The backyard is beautifully wooded, had plenty of places to sit comfortably, and leads directly to the Lakeshore. It is a family lake house, so understandably some parts of the house, like the downstairs bath, could use some updating, although everything worked fine. This place is 10 minutes from Petoskey & an hour from Mackinaw City & Traverse City. All in all enjoyable stay for our large group and I would book for a group again.

Excellent location and access to the beach with great view. Secluded for privacy. Very roomy and plenty of space for 6 adults. Very comfy beds. House had everything needed for your stay (with the exception of wash cloths). Everything was in good working order. A bit of a delay in contacting host for small issue that was resolved. House could use a good cleaning.

We had a wonderful experience at this cabin! We celebrated our friend’s 40th birthday and it was the perfect location. Short drives to all attractions and a great location to relax on the beach and rockhound. We are already talking about coming back to the same rental. Our only suggestion is to have more bath and hand towels for the bathrooms although you could launder them each day if needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!!

Beautiful Northern MI Escape

This place provides a wonderfully excluded escape with a home including all the anemities of home. Right off the lake with plenty to do both indoors and outdoors.

A little bit rustic, A little bit refined, and a whole lot of beautiful.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet and serene, the house is very accommodating. It has the exact feel that an up north rental should. Owners were so easy to work with, and check in/out was simple.

Great location on the lake

Beautiful lake property situated between Petoskey and Charlevoix. We enjoyed the access to the trail for walking and riding bikes…the house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor space was pure Michigan…the deck, fire pit and the beautiful shoreline…thank you for a great weekend stay!

A wonderful home with both a great view of Lake Michigan and steps down to it's shore. We stayed in leaf season. We like to bicycle. So we had easy access to the Little Traverse Bay Wheelway. The house is comfortable and quite adequate for 6 adults. We could see lots of things to do in the warmer summer months. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe.

Wow!

What a beautiful location and a lovely home! We loved the easy access to Lake Michigan and the availability of the kayaks. The house had everything we needed, and our host could not have been more accommodating. I hope we can return to this lakefront home before too long!

A gem of a house

Lovely house in a GREAT location. Rooms are spacious, lots of amenities. We loved the fire pit and experienced the best sunset I’ve ever seen across the bay. We found handfuls of Petoskey stones. Close to both Charlevoix and Petoskey, and close to lots of great golf. Hope to be back next year!

Wonderful Place to Close Out Summer 2023

This was our 3rd stay at the property. Glorious sunsets & sunrises on beautiful Lake Michigan! Rock hunting, campfires and nature abound made for a wonderful family gathering. The property is private and spacious. Beds are comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Lake Home!!!

Amazing views! Beautiful to wake up to. There was enough space and room for everyone. Found petosky stones walking the beach. Bob gave a great overall of different places to go in the area and communicated quickly if we had any questions.

Wedding Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at the house! We were with three couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. There were kayaks and bikes to use and plenty of room to play games and enjoy time together. We also appreciated the firewood so that we could enjoy a campfire. The location was wonderful on the lake. It's close to Petoskey and Charlevoix so a lot to see and do. We certainly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely views

Property had lovely views but had no idea about the midge flies. Wouldn’t recommend booking this time of year. Location was nice in between Petoskey and Charlevoix, owner was very quick to respond and had great communication. Unfortunately the home wasn’t as clean as you would anticipate when booking, but vacuum and cleaning supplies were easily accessible.
