The dishwasher was not fastened to the countertop, thus it wanted to tip over everytime you pulled out the top shelf. The toilet in the guest bedroom had a leaky seal which caused the water to run intermittently. The unit itself was decorated nicely and we had a good view of the beach from the 1st floor. Large patio with plenty of chairs

Vacation 2025

The property was great, but I think security made us a little uncomfortable. Always nagging people about their music being too loud, which it wasn’t. We enjoyed it since we didn’t bring a speaker. Someone walked by while we were waiting on our room and thumped a cigarette by the exit in the parking lot. The girl security guard smelled it I guess and came running…”who is SMOKIN’??? It was just worrisome, wondering what they will come up with next . Several more I won’t go in to but I felt like a 60 yr old hiding from my parents! Other than that, the condo was great, property was well kept, and the ladies at the front desk was really nice.

Lovely time in Destin

Condo was in a great location. Great balcony. 1st floor near the stairwell and no need for the elevator. Pool area is beautiful. Highly recommended!

Room and location were great! Room was very comfortable. Be aware of hidden fees. We had a charge from VRBO that is added after “total cost” of room. Also, we had to pay an additional $15 per wristband to access the pool and beach. This is not included in the cost of the room. Otherwise, beautiful room. Beach was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay

We all said we’d stay here again

The condo is very clean and we loved being on the first floor. The elevator closest to this condo was not working so it worked perfect to use the stairs with only having to go up one flight. We had three kids under the age of 5 and they loved it. Kitchen is large with a good amount of counter space to cook on. We will definitely stay in this condo again. Everything was perfect!

Sterling Sands

Very convenient location! Check in was a breeze. Loved that we didn't have to wait on the elevator and could use the stairs to head right up to the unit on the 1st floor. The beds were super comfy!! The beach wasn't too crowded and the complimentary beach set up was an added bonus! My only complaint about the unit would be the cleanliness of it upon arrival. Overall, the experience was great and we'd rent the unit again.

Beautiful unit on the beach with a gorgeous view

The condo is exactly as the pictures shown. The condo was clean, roomy and well maintained with a good size kitchen and living room. Master bedroom was lovely with a king size comfortable bed. There was a Jacuzzi tub in the master bath, large walk in shower, two sink/vanities and large walk in closet with plenty of space for additional clothing. The balcony was great with extra seating, table and lounge chair. You can see the ocean from the large sliding glass windows/doors from both the kitchen/living room and bedroom. The pool is well maintained with plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi and exercise equipment (building) on the the property.This was our first time to the Florida Panhandle. The sand on the beach was the whitest and pristine we have ever seen (no garbage and well maintained). The water was clear with beautiful turquoise and blue colors. You can rent beach chairs/umbrellas or bring your own. From the condo you have a gorgeous view of the ocean and pool area. We were glad we rented a car as most restaurants are not close, although you can walk to the Back Porch restaurant. There are many other restaurants on the water and other choices inland. Highly recommend Moe's Original BBQ and Harbor Docks. There are also many seafood markets nearby. Be sure to read the property emails before you arrive as they provide check in specifics. You must pay 15 per guest for wrist bands for pool and beach acc

Great views

Location was great and beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony is beautiful. For the price of this location I wouldn’t have expected some of the issues that came up. Expect to pay for wristbands at property as it’s not listed in this listing. Maintenance was delayed in fixing the dishwasher which leaked the entire trip and had to keep drying towels to keep the area dry. Be sure to check you get the door code because I never received it.

Floors were dirty and sticky! Toilet in master bedroom partially stopped up when we arrived and then it was stopped up all the way toilet in small bathroom was leaking at the base we had to keep a towel around the base to keep from walking in the dirty water! Also when I booked this I only wanted 4 nights but Panhandler call me said I had to stay 5 nights in order to book it this was not on the Vrbo site! Everything else was good

That View! That Sand! That Clear Water! But...

We were so excited to arrive and the view was just picturesque! The biggest drawback was the overall cleanliness. Very dirty floors with dirt, sand, and long strands of hair - everywhere including the sheets. The mirrored wall had a ton of hand smudges along with the sliding glass doors. The bar sink looked like it wasn’t cleaned as there was a dried substance in the sink. The master bathroom shower door was difficult to open and was very old. The inside of the shower needs a deep cleaning as there was black bathroom mold along the bottom of the shower walls. The tile in the kitchen needs to be deep cleaned it was almost a gray color and the tile is suppose to be white. I did give this feedback to the management company upon arrival and was assured that for the next guest it would be cleaned better. Hmmmm. Why not for our stay? But other than cleanliness of which we were able to clean ourselves to be at least tolerable, we truly enjoyed the beach both day and night. This condo did have some great decor touches! Just get it deep cleaned and think about touch up paint in the master bathroom.

Needs some attention

As other reviewers have pointed out already, this unit needs a thorough cleaning. The furniture was dusty as were the ceiling fans and air ducts. There were gnats flying around the entire unit. The tile, grout and shower need to be deep cleaned. The master bathroom needs to be overhauled. The dry wall repairs were terrible. It appears there is a water problem in the walls of that unit which is why the dry wall repairs needed to be made. The painting over the dry wall repairs was horrible. The shower and tub both need to be replaced. The shower door was hard to open. There was hair left in the shower and on the vanity next to the shower. The throw pillows were still on the furniture when we arrived and it seems I remember reading that those would be removed from the unit due to COVID concerns. All in all this unit needs some serious attention. Another comfortable chair needs to be added to the living room area and the couch needs to be replaced. It's horribly worn out. The balcony also needs lounge chairs added so renters can comfortably enjoy that area.
