Beautiful beach getaway!

Booked a last minute trip for our family. Loved waking up to an ocean view every morning, loads of space to cook, eat and gather and easy access to walks on the beach. House was beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. Only complaint is that our stay was too short!

Great long weekend!

House was just as advertised. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beach toys were a plus and the beds were comfy! Pointe West is a great location.

Second time at Stay Salty

We love renting this property to close out summer, and it’s our second time renting. The location is perfect. My favorite aspect of this house is the ocean view. We always feel relaxed when we leave. The property was immaculately clean. Communication with the owner was great.

Amazing views

We had a great labor day weekend gateway, a super short walk to the beach, the beach toys were a great surprise for the kids and the ability to use the club properties was a huge plus when the kids wanted pool instead of bech.

Relax getaway

Great property with amazing beach location. Galveston was having a busy weekend and we didn’t feel any of it. The privacy of this location was absolutely awesome. Mosquitoes were pretty bad so bring your bug spray

Nice Beach Home

We enjoyed our stay! The location was great with just a short, easy walk to the beach; great views; neighborhood was lovely and good for the kids to ride bikes. Water pressure is great and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean! Kitchen is nice and open; love that it is on the top floor with best views. A couple suggestions to make things even better: clean the windows on the top floor; consider deep cleaning or even replace the carpet as it has a musty smell.

Beautiful Property

We are regulars to Pointe West multiple times per year. Had been staying in larger homes as our group has grown. We stayed in this property several years ago and loved it so when our first trip this summer was going to be just our family and my wife’s godparents we looked up this property to book again. The updates they’ve made since our last stay are wonderful. Our favorite part of this property is the view laying in bed in the master. Fall asleep to looking at the moonlight on the the gulf. Owners are fantastic communicators as well. I’m filling this out as we just made it back home and trip let down already set in. We will be back!

Great View!

My family truly enjoyed our stay! The owners really thought about the homey touches. We loved the decorations, the games and books that were left there, and the beautiful view! The games kept my 3 year old entertained for a while! The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. I completely agree with the comment before me that there's just a few things that would have made the stay even better. The master bedroom had a musty smell the entire time that I think shampooing the carpets would fix. We also chose this beach house for the view but the windows needed to be cleaned. Overall, we had a great experience and we can't wait to stay again in the future!

Staying at Stay Salty will make you want to stay!

This is a wonderful house to rent! First of all you are in a wonderfully kept area at Pointe West. All the properties there are lovely and well maintained. The house is on a quiet street and is ocean front. The views are stunning and you would never tire of looking at the view from the master bedroom, living and dining room. The covered decks are a wonderful place to hang out. We were very impressed by the coastal decorating. The house is bright and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is wonderful! This is a great beach house and we would definitely come back again and stay and stay!

Great family stay with perfect amenities and amazing views

Our family had a wonderful time at the house and enjoyed the community and clubhouse amenities. The balcony views were stunning and the mosquitoes were not present in the upper level balconies. House was great and met our needs. Communication with property manager was wonderful and easy.

Beautiful beachfront getaway!

This house was perfect in every way for our family, which includes two kids in elementary school. The ocean views were gorgeous, and we had a delightful night enjoying the sunset while playing a game on the balcony. The bottom floor was a surprise bonus because there is a large yard area and great place for grilling burgers. The decor inside the house was casual yet sophisticated and comfy. Everything was impeccably clean. We have rented a ton of places, and this house was our favorite by far. We hope to be back soon! We also rented a golf cart from Rick’s. It was fun for the kids to take joy rides around Pointe West and came in handy when we wanted to visit the pool and bar, although we didn’t need any transportation to get to the beach because it was so close to the house. I also highly recommend Rick’s for a golf cart rental - they delivered and picked up to make everything effortless. Bottom line - this place is worth every penny and was so difficult to leave! Pointe West is our favorite getaway from Houston, and we now found our favorite home!

Stay Salty 7/18/22 Trip

House is great. This was our 2nd time here and with the new renovations it is just beautiful. Laura is a great homeowner and very responsive with the few issues we had. She worked to resolve them quickly and professionally. We would stay here again as it is a great house and perfect location.

Wonderful House and Location!

Wonderful house and location! Fab and responsive hosts, even when difficulties they were quick to keep us informed and fair in response. Would definitely come again, this home has an absolutely gorgeous beach view and such a different feel than staying further East. Had everything we needed for a great stay and easy checkin procedures. Loved how uncrowded the beach felt in front of the home also. Also such a nice bed in the second king bedroom that I quite literally came home and bought myself a new mattress… 🤣

We loved this house

House is small but it accommodated every one perfectly. We loved the view, loved the sunrise; loved the deck. It was a great experience. The club house was ok, food at the restaurant is not the healthiest, and it’s a drive to get to the club house. But overall, we had a great time here. The host was super attentive, the kitchen was perfect, and there were no problems or concerns
