Destin Family Getaway

Amazing location on Oakaloosa Island!! Perfect size condo for our family of 5. Very well appointed kitchen, amazingly clean and all of the outside space you could ever ask for.

Beautiful property. the bay side of the resort is quiet and peaceful. the rooftop deck and hot tub were perfect. would definitely like to return again someday!

Awesome Thanksgiving Get A Way

We had a fabulous stay and loved the condo and the rooftop deck with the hot tub was the icing on the cake. An easy walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Highly recommended.

We performed at a favorite charity event, Rock by the Sea. The accommodations were spectacular, the location in proximity to the venue can't be beat. The lazy river is AMAZING! We hope to be invited back.

Perfection!

Host was very responsive. Condo was exceptional and very clean. Easy walk to the beach, miniature golf, and places to eat. We loved the lazy river and the property! Everything was wonderful and we hope to back soon!

Great family vacation destination

Beautiful condo with amazing views! Shelley and her team were so easy to work with and made our trip very enjoyable. We spent most of our time at the pool or made the short walk to the beach. We would love to come back.

Beautiful views of the bay

We enjoyed our stay in the Heron building. The pools & property was well maintained. Our unit was spacious & decorated beautifully. Shelley provided a portable AC unit which was used in the master bedroom. We felt the bedrooms were a little warm, but understood as we stayed in August. We would definitely return to Destin West.

Property is just as described! Beautiful views and Shelley is super attentive and fast to answer questions! Beautiful resort grounds and Kevin at the pool was always a joy to visit with! Shelley provides great recommendations in the area as well! So much to do in the area and within walking distance to so much as well!

Great location and Quiet

This was our first trip to Okaloosa Island. We loved that it was quiet and not overly crowded. Yet you could walk to restaurants and shops and drive into Destin quickly. We liked staying on the bay side because of the lazy river. But it was also nice to easily walk over to the beach side. The property was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The views from the balconies were amazing. We would visit again.

Beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay. We had a quick trip for a wedding. Wish we could have stayed a little longer. Everything was nice and clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend. For your information this property has a regular coffee pot and a k-cup coffee maker and we were pleasantly surprised with 2 isolating fans in the master closet. It has pretty much everything you might need. Beautiful view on top deck with jacuzzi.

Shelley was great to work with, we were able to check in a day earlier than expected. The condo is great, was clean and does need some updating. The roof top is a great place to watch the sunrises and sunsets, they were beautiful.

Great! Wonderful! Exciting! Condo was Comfortable & Met Every Expectation!!

Well, what can we say or how can we sum up in one page the fantastic week we had here. I am writing for my daughter and her family and my husband. If I were to ask them they would all say, "Great"! "Wonderful"! "Exciting"! The condo was so comfortable and met our every expectation! Watching from the balcony the manta rays, dolphins, and fish each morning gave our days great beginnings. Great Location and View

The condo was a great layout for our family of 6. The location and view were amazing. I really enjoyed watching the dolphins play in the bay right in front of the condo in the mornings. It was so peaceful. The stay was great up until the few hours after we checked out. I received an email from the host upset and claiming that we left a dirty diaper and hangers under one of the bed. I explained that we didn’t have anyone in diapers nor did we use any hangers during our trip. We conversed back and forth a bit regarding the issue and she was able to finally determine it was a housekeeping issue and from a previous guest and was then very apologetic. It was a bummer this happened and put a little damper on the whole experience but I was relieved that she realized it wasn’t us who left the mess under the bed.

We had an amazing stay in the Penthouse! The views of the bay were beautiful. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee and our nightly hot tub hangs on the rooftop. The condo was clean, spacious, and probably the most well stocked condo we’ve ever stayed in. Just a short 10ish min walk to the beach side with the beautiful white sand and clear waters. We would definitely return in the future!

Our stay at the Heron PH was amazing. The views from the balcony and master bed is breathtaking. This unit was clean and spacious. The lazy river and pools were nice as well. I would definitely stay again.
