Om boendet

Mysig bergsstuga med 2 sovrum på övervåningen och ett stort sovrum nere. Nerrummet kan också användas som ett familjerum med TV. Sovrummet på övervåningen har en vacker utsikt över skogen. Front rum har däck med bord, stolar och en gasgrill för användning på sommaren.
På en lugn gata i skogsområde. Fullt utrustat kök med elektrisk spis och is gör kylskåp. Vardagsrummet har en braskamin. På övervåningen finns en king size och en queen size-säng, den nedre våningen har en queen size-säng och en king size bäddsoffa. Vi ber hyresgäster att ta med egna sängkläder och handdukar. Det finns två badrum, ett på övervåningen och en nere. Utrymme för en bil i garaget. Centralvärme.

Utmärkt längdskidåkning och mellan ner backen skidområde 5 minuter från huset. Längdskidspår har en restaurang och utomhus sittgrupp med eldgropar för avkoppling efter en skidåkning Bara 20 minuter från skidområden i världsklass Squaw Valley, Northstar och Sugar Bowl. Tillgänglighet av vandring, forsränning, golf, tennis, paddling, vindsurfing, 3 pooler, gym, ridning. Hus 5 minuter från första tee av topprankade golfbana.

Fjällen är vackra på sommar och vinter. Det finns något för alla åldrar året runt. Om du känner dig äventyrlig finns det alltid något att göra, och det är lika underbart att koppla av på verandan eller vid vedeldad spis med en bra bok. När vår son var yngre vi haft de många familjevänliga aktiviteterna i Tahoe Donner.

The best host ever

The Cabin is cozy and clean, beddings are comfortable, towels are new. But the most amazing part is how understanding the host is. When I communicate with Christine about the coming snow storm, she generously extended our stay for free. Because she doesn't want us to drive in dangerous road condition. Later when we decide to leave the area heading home before the storm, she agreed to refund us nightly rate. Easy to communicate, thinking about renters' safety. I would love to book again for our next ski trip.

Pretty house close to ski areas

We were a family of 4, on a ski trip to Boreal. We enjoyed staying at Christine’s place. Lots of space, kitchen was fully stocked. Tons of family friendly board games. We will visit again for sure.

Great house in Tahoe Donner!

My family of four had more than enough room and everything we needed! Kitchen is well stocked, beds are very super comfy and the owner was a pleasure. Hope to come back in the winter to ski!!

Great stay for weekend skiing

We wanted a place close to Northstar for a ski weekend. The place is located close to the ski resorts. It was a perfect place for us families with the kids. The kitchen is also well stocked and new appliances and helped us do all the local cooking needed for the trip. The bedrooms are spacious and provided a place to keep the ski boots and jackets and still have space The owner was constantly giving us updates with all the relevant information and we had all the information we needed to make the trip enjoyable. Overall the house made us feel at home. Would recommend

Wonderful and confortable cabin

The cabin was perfect! Great location by tahoe donner ski resort and lots of snow around the cabin for kids to play. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are very comfortable. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Christine is flexible and very responsive. Would definitely go back.

Great small cabin

This cabin was perfect for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you would need. TV, WiFi and heat were easy to use. Christmas lights made it cute and easy to find at night! Great to have a garage to park in and a nice location. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of places to sit. We would love to stay here again.

Great kitchen good location cozy

Property is very conveniently located in Tahoe Donner community in Truckee, within minutes drive to sports complex and grocery stores or restaurants. Access to Northstar, Squaw Valley or Soda Spring within 30 minutes drive. Kitchen was fully equipped (pots, pans, utensils, knives) and staples (butter, oil, salt and pepper) available. House was clean. Plenty of firewood available (thank you). We appreciate quick response from Christine to help us connect to WIFI (problem solved). I would rent there again.

Comfortable mountain home

We really enjoyed our stay at your house. It's very comfortable and in a nice quiet area. The cute little neighbor girls, and their dog, were a prize as well. Friendly people. Your kitchen has everything we needed as well as enough knives for the Culinary Academy! The counter tops are beautiful and all the new dishes are a nice touch. The photos don't do it justice. All of the beds are comfortable especially the new king. My wife and I started out the week alone then our son and his wife joined us. For the weekend our other son and his girlfriend came. They stayed downstairs. Thanks for the late check-out, although we didn't need it. We actually woke up early enough to leave by noon. It was nice knowing that if we had slept late we didn't have to rush. One of the homes we looked at was going to charge us $35 an hour if we stayed past 11 am. The extra blankets were appreciated and all the pillows as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

This cabin was the perfec...

This cabin was the perfect size for two families of four. The kids camped out downstairs - we were able to get the trundle bed out with the sofa bed pulled out, and the parents each had their own spacious room upstairs. The downstairs is a bit cold, so the space heater was essential. Rates are lower than most comparable places. We were very happy with our experience.

We bought this cabin to enjoy the mountain experience. We are both skiers and we wanted to have a place for our son to learn to ski and enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. Over the last 30+ years, we have enjoyed the many amenities of Tahoe Donner including golfing, swimming, hiking and skiing. Now our son, his wife and our granddaughter and grandson enjoy the cabin, activities and mountain air and bring their friends along also.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Cabin is on a quiet wooded street with wildlife around. Wake up to singing birds in the summer. Neighbors are friendly and a mix of year round families as well as some rentals. Location is central to many of the activities we love and is a convenient three hour drive from our home in the Bay Area.

The house is well maintained and feels very homey. The front deck affords a view of forest and has sunshine as well as shade in the summer. Having bedrooms upstairs and downstairs provides some privacy for multiple families.
