Alfama 5 är en första våningen (ingen hiss) i en hundraårsjubileum gård, helt renoverat.
Reformen förblev tak och trägolv traditionella, men tillade ett modernt kök och badrum, funktionella sovrum com rymliga garderober och luftkonditionering (varm och kall) i loungen.
Inredningen är välbekant och glada, skapar en välkomnande atmosfär.
Alfama 5 är redo att ta emot upp till 4 gäster, med all komfort. Lägenheten består av ett vardagsrum med matplats, ett modernt och välutrustat kök och två sovrum med dubbelsängar. Fyll i golvet ett badrum och ett litet förråd.
Ett plus i den här lägenheten är den lilla balkongen och stora fönster som översvämma utrymmet med naturligt ljus. Vyerna är privilegierade och slott är bokstavligen vid dina fötter.

Slutligen är gården intill våra andra golv Alfama Alfama 2 och 3 och kan hyras tillsammans för grupper.

Great location minor comfort issue.

Our recent stay was a mixed experience. The location is excellent—right below the entrance to the castle, which made it very convenient for sightseeing. However, this also meant it was quite noisy, especially throughout the day and evening.The apartment itself was generally comfortable and nicely kept, but a few more amenities would have made the stay more relaxing. A coffee table and a more spacious or cozy seating area would’ve been appreciated—after a long day of walking, there wasn’t really a good place to put your feet up and unwind.The beds were comfortable, which we appreciated, but there were a few issues with the bedding. There were no top sheets provided, and the duvets or comforters seemed in need of a fresh cleaning.Overall, it was a decent stay in a great location, but with a few small improvements, it could be much better.

Great location - clean and spacious

Four of us stayed for 4 nights. Plenty of space and privacy, excellent facilities, including toiletries and laundry tablets. We loved the location of the property, opposite St George Castle entrance. Great to people-watch from the two large balcony windows. Easy communication with host who organised transfers for us to/from airport.

Nice Place in a Good Location

We enjoyed our stay in this very livable space - kitchen, laundry, multiple spaces for spreading out and relaxing. The location is good for exploring. It's bit noisy at night with local peacocks (who live at the castle next door) and humans - making bird sounds and rolling out recycling. Overall happy with the stay!

Enjoyable stay

Beautiful area, well supplied and clean. Furnishings need updating: beds were not the most comfortable, but were sleepable; shower fixture was a little low and mount was broken.

Great location!

Situated right beside Castle St. Jorge is perfect location in the Alfama district. Clean, bright and spacious enough for 4 people. Great communication with our host, Mario. Surprisingly quiet given the foot traffic through the streets. Very comfortable stay.

The location was great, and we were greeted at the door when we arrived (later than planned due to plane delays). The apartment was perfect for my family (myself,husband, 15 month old and my mom). Highly recommend!

Historical atmosphere, nice and clean place

Nice and bright apartment in old house and on historical place (in front of a castle). Attracting old town area in Alfama. Many things to do and see on walk distance. Place is also good for walking in hilly and stony streets.

We had a good time in Lisbon and the appartment was good! Unfortunatly, our trip in Lisbon was in the same time than WYD and the visit of the Pope. But for the stay, everthing was fine. Thanks!

Perfect base for exploring Lisbon

Great location right next to the castle makes a very enjoyable and atmospheric stay. Very near bus stop and tram 28 and easy to walk to centre of town. Good communication with Mario before stay and someone to meet us there on arrival. The coffee machine was much appreciated. Also good to have a bath. The only negative for me was that the beds are very hard so I found it difficult to sleep but that may suit people who like hard beds. Thank you Mario for a great stay

The flat is perfect! Completely silent at night, sleeping with all the windows open, it was amazing. In the day simply close the windows and shutters for complete peace and seclusion. Being able to do our laundry was a plus. Good restaurants are nearby, and street music competes the charm of Alfama Lisboa. I'll be back again for sure thank you Mario!

Great apartment in the heart of old Lisbon

We stayed four different places during our trip to Portugal and all were lovely, but this was our favorite. The apartment is literally right next to the castle and it's lively there during the day, but quiets right down after the castle closes. We were able to comfortably walk to every area of historic Lisbon. The hosts were excellent about communication and went out of their way to let us store our bags there when our plane arrived well before check-in time. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make our own simple meals. The market is also a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Lisbon.

Excellent Position

It was very good. There are 17 internal stairs as advertised and the front door doesn't open properly because it's too close to the first stairs. Suggest notching the first stairs maybe? Anyway the apartment was lovely. The main pictured bedroom was very bright and had two doors opening onto a small Juliette balcony which then looked down onto the entrance to the castle. It was fun to watch people and at night listen to music being played. The mattress was quite firm but not uncomfortable. The second room is smaller but has a window which let in plenty of light. The bathroom was fine and the kitchen was well equipped, not that we ate in much. The apartment is easily within walking distance of the city sights. Rui was very good at explaining things and he supplied a map to a few things in relation to the apartment. If you're going to need the grocery store then double check how to find it before the host leaves because we got lost and then found it tucked under another building and accessed both by stairs and a lift. All in all the apartment was excellent.

Très bel emplacement (malgré le fait que c’est en haut de la montagne). Je suggère d’utiliser le transport en commun ou le taxi si plusieurs allez-retour entre le haut et le bas de la ville. L’air climatisé n’était pas performante. Toutefois, l’ouverture des fenêtres assurait une très bonne ventilation de l’appartement.

La posizione della struttura è ottima, in fronte alla biglietteria del castello, in pochi minuti si è in centro, ritorno in salita ma facilmente raggiungibile Ampi spazi, molto pulito.

Super apparyement op superplek

DE hotspot, en leukste buurt om te zitten, pal naast de entree van het Castelo do Sao Jorge. 0verdag van 9:00 tot 18:00 totaal gekkenhuis maar ook wel eens leuk om in te zitten, je went eraan, ramen dicht hoor je niks, daarna en snachts uitgestoven stil en geen verkeer door te smalle straatjes. Plus tegenover verse pastel de nata, terrasjes, fijne supermarkt dichtbij en super klein/super lekker/speciaal restaurantje (vijf tafeltjes). Oud huis, prima opgeknapt, er ontbreekt niets.

La vie de château …ou presque.

Ce qui nous a impressionné de Mario et ses collègues ce sont les petites attentions: leur accueil chaleureux,une réserve de café, du savon pour la lessiveuse, des informations imagées et claires sur l’environnement immédiat et les services. Petite suggestion : un séchoir portatif pliable pour les vêtements pourrait être très utile en cas de mauvais temps. La proximité du château et l’ambiance festive du quartier peuvent générer du bruit surtout les soirs de fin de semaine mais nous en étions conscients avant notre arrivée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans l’ensemble .
