Våra 2700 kvadratmeter, 4 sovrum, 3. 5 badrum, anpassade hem ligger på en tunnland, intill National Forest och bara 3 miles från Purgatory Ski Resort.

Ski trip

This property suited our needs perfectly. It was also located in the most beautiful area with breathtaking views of the mountains. The house had the best stocked kitchen. The house itself has plenty of space for large groups and the ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms was very accommodating.we would love to return to this property in the future.

Beautiful house

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding trip and it was perfect for 8 adults! Super clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed! The view from the deck is beautiful!

Love this house!!

Best VRBO in Durango! Our group absolutely loved this property. We had a few minor issues, but they were taken care of right away. I was extremely pleased in how fast the property managers got back to me. We will definitely stay again!

Dallas to Durango trip

We loved sitting out on the deck with the beautiful deck and the space inside was very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again. It takes about 25 minutes to get into town but it was so nice being away from town before it was cooler up high and so quiet. We would not wasn’t to drive home in the dark. We enjoyed simple dinners at home while eating on the deck with the amazing views.

December Stay With Family

We had a group of five adults and four teenagers staying the week before Christmas. We absolutely loved the house, and have zero complaints. There was plenty of room for everyone, plenty of towels, and the kitchen was extremely well-stocked (including cute dog bowls for our pups). The property manager was very helpful when we asked for suggestions on where we could go sledding. We will definitely consider this house when we return to the area.

Gorgeous house and views

The house was impressively furnished, including well stocked linens and kitchen (cookware, spices, cleaning products). We enjoyed playing pool and used the hot tub a few times, it was very clean! We had to buy cheap beach towels so recommend mgmt buys some for the spa/lake use. We definitely recommend the house to others. It should be noted the gravel/dirt road to the house is fairly narrow and steep. And the gravel driveway could use some finish work, like a paved sidewalk to the porch. There’s no garage, which might be important in winter. Also need a pathway to the back deck from the driveway parking area.

Wonderful Private Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a fantastic rental home just down the road from Purgatory. It is about 30 minutes from downtown Durango. First, I would like to say that the home is beautifully decorated and the Owners really make it feel like a home (I think the Owners stay there for extended stays). They have great beds, all the kitchen appliances and utensils you would ever need. They have blankets throughout the home, dog bowls to feed an entire kennel, and so many more wonderful touches throughout. We will definitely be looking to book this home when we return for our next family vacation.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

House even had a perfect driveway that allows for sledding. Very close to Purgatory. The house is one of the last ones in the neighborhood so be prepared for it to be alittle difficult to get to on the winter with snow/ice! Overall, could not have asking for a better house for a ski trip.

Wedding in colorado

We loved the property. Big beautiful home. Nice big deck and the furniture was new and comfortable. Beds where comfortable too. My only complaint is that I could have used an egg pan and some small pots. There were lots of big pots but not any small or medium ones. And lots of frying pans but not any with Teflon. Also the drive up from the major road is long and extremely bumpy. The house is beautiful and I would definitely stay again!!

Tree Top re-TREAT

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 7 had the best stay and experience at the Tree Top house. The bedroom layout was ideal for comfort and privacy. The kitchen had literally everything a chef would need for a full sit down dining experience. Our kiddo's spent hours learning and playing pool. And they even built their own sledding lunge down the back of the property. Everyone was sad to leave, but we hope to come back for another winter getaway retreat!

Breath-Taking Views, Hummingbirds & Family Time!

A view from every direction - beautiful tall green trees and hummingbirds zipping by. The porch was nice to sit and listen and watch nature - hawks, hummingbirds, robins deer, butterflies, rabbits, woodpeckers etc. with the lake in the background!The house itself had plenty of space for our party of 7. The pool table was frequently enjoyed by us all - and large living room treated us with a family movie night! We were looking for a cabin with the "mountain top" feel but still have access to internet - and 26 Big Pine Trail was a home run! Many wonderful memories made during our stay in Durango.

Perfect getaway!

We really enjoyed our 12 days at this beautiful property. For starters, it was immaculate and welll-stocked with all of the basics. The location near the end of Lake Purgatory Road makes this home very private and quiet. The views from the back of the house make sitting on the deck a really wonderful way to watch the sunset over Hermosa cliffs. I would note that there is no garage, in case this is a concern (it was not a problem for us in July). Also, you do need to take all of your trash to the neighborhood dumpster about 2 miles from the house before you leave. That seems like something that could be done by the cleaners or property managers. Otherwise, it really was the perfect get-away during the "time of COVID" with a lot to do in the surrounding area. We never tire of Purgatory and we would highly recommend this home!

First the house has gorgeous views, coffee while the sun comes up over the mountains and lake cannot be described in words. The house was clean and well stocked. There were enough towels and dishes, it was nice to be able to cook at home- even enough pans for Christmas dinner! I really appreciated the board games, extra blankets, and touches like that. Do know: you really DO ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS need 4x4 in the winter. It’s at the top of a slick/ snowy mountain trail.The only improvement: a shovel. It snowed more than 2’ while we were there. The HOA did great w/ the roads but it would have been nice to be able to clear off the porch.Thanks!
