Ett andra familjerum (eller "Bear Den") med tvåbäddsrum med tvilling, TV, DVD, ett biljardbord med regleringsstorlek och även ett ping-pongbord ligger i källaren, intill det fjärde sovrummet som är utrustat med två uppsättningar våningssängar och platsen gör det till ett idealiskt rum för barnen. Alla kung- och drottningssängar har sängkläder och gåsedunar för att säkerställa en mysig och bekväm nattsömn!

En underbar bonus efter en dag med utomhusaktiviteter är Hot Springs Spa 6-personers badtunna på täckt däck. Lyxiga i sin lugnande värme medan du tar dig in i den fantastiska utsikten över sjön och bergen och sval, ren bergsluft. På natten verkar stjärnorna nästan rörliga.

Skiing Nirvana

Purgatory was great for skiing and this place was optimal for access and recovery after a long day at the slopes. My buddies and I were able to stay in each night and hang out like the old days. Property is big and spacious. Hot tub was awesome!

Christmas in Colorado

This home is beautiful. We stayed for about a week and we had everything we needed to feel at home. It is a 30 minute drive into town so I suggest stopping in town prior to getting to the home to get any food or necessities. The views from this home are breath taking.

Magnificent View

Place is in a beautiful spot to see the wonderful snow. Overlooking the mountains is spectacular. Lots of big bay windows to see everything. House was just the spot for our family. It is very close to the resort for skiing. There is a trailhead not for too. It is right in the middle between Durango and Silverton. I advise you if the roads permit to make a trip to Silverton and see the abundance of snow in the passes.

If you want a quiet, beautiful surroundings, great place to stay, then this is for you. Our family stayed for a week and had a wonderful time fishing and canoeing in the lake and then paddle boarding and swimming in lake 5 minutes away. The house has everything you need. Very fun vacation!

Healing Journey

This home is just what my husband and I needed. We have just lost our son and didn’t have a plan but knew we needed to find somewhere to begin healing. The owner was extremely supportive and accommodating. House is perfect for families and friends. Would highly recommend.

Perfectly Peaceful

The perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Right on the lake with good fishing. Plenty of relaxing spots on the property- lawn chairs with great views of the lake, hammock and 6 person hot tub on the deck. Spacious home with the added bonus of a ping pong and billiards table. Great spot to fish, relax and unwind with the family. Close to Durango, Purgatory resort and Lake Nighthorse for lots of family fun. We loved our stay.

Great place for family

We loved how close the property was to everything we wanted to do. It was also big enough to have the whole family over for a BBQ (25 people).

Great Winter Vacation

This house was beautiful and well stocked. Four wheel drive or chains was a requirement. We were able to get up the hill during the day after some snow melted with chains on. We had a great time sledding, skiing and relaxing in the hot tub!

Lake access! Steep hike, but fun, & the lake is beautiful. Canoe, chairs, and cool water wait for you. Great outdoor adventures just out the front door. Recommend!!

Spring Break Retreat

Excellent property and location. Proximity to Purgatory resort was ideal. Owner clarity and communication upon final booking was outstanding. Property handbook was very thorough, thoughtful and left us with no question about any amenity down to the smallest detail (this was especially refreshing and welcomed.) 10/10. Definitely recommend Blackjack Lodge and McGregor is a wonderful host.

Great house

Two families of 5 stayed at this house. The house was very spacious and great for 10 people! There was plenty of room and we had fun. The location was less than 5 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort! Wonderful location for skiing.

almost perfect!

Our granddaughter was married at the Black Diamond Ranch, so the location was perfect. The house is very livable but a little dated-altho the bidet toilet was amazing! It had an a good vibe and accommodated our family 10-ages 83-9-very comfortably. We didn't understand that our SUPs weren't allowed-interpreting the rules that anyone not staying in a house on the lake were not permitted use of the lake. Anyway, the man who patrols the lake was very informative and polite. We had some very "zen" time in the canoe.
