Våra 4 sovrum, 4. 5 badrum, 2600 kvadratmeter hem byggdes 2007 och ligger på Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) och ligger 39 miles från Durango centrum (mindre än 30 minuters bilresa).

Njut av bekvämligheten med att vara på skidorten, men ändå ha privatlivet och extra utrymme för ett hus med ett 2-bil garage. Anläggningen är både en fantastisk vinterlekplats och erbjuder en mängd av alla dina favoritaktiviteter i ett kallt och bekvämt sommarklimat på 8 900 fot i höjd. För att underlätta finns det en kostnadsfri transferbuss till skidorten på vintern och sommaren.

Huset har en öppen planlösning, katedraltak, avancerade apparater, eldstad och fantastisk utsikt.

Hemmet ligger nära Purgatory Flats trail head, en av de finaste och mest natursköna vandringarna i området samt ett damm för fiske och på vintern finns det en längdskidspår direkt utanför ytterdörren.

Beautiful home across the street from purgatory! Very clean with everything we needed. Super convenient to have the shuttle pick us up and bring us home from purgatory. Will stay again

Nice house, nice view, nice location. Kitchen was missing a few items but other than that it was great. Comfortable beds, nice showers and bath. Snowshoe and cross country skiing right out back door.

The house was well appointed and perfect for 3 families with 5 kids combined. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! We chose to pay the resort fee for access to the hot tub but discovered it’s really not all that close/convenient, so if you’re on the fence, I would say skip it.

Our stay started a little rough. The dryer was non-functional, the back doors could not be locked, and the internet service was sporadic, requiring the Durango Utility Department to make a trip to the home to try to fix it. Each took away from the enjoyment of the stay. The home could have been cleaned more, especially on the floors, windows, outdoor patio, and furniture. This is a pet-friendly home, and that is understood, but I had to wash a few blankets due to pet urine and hair. My communication with VRC was quick and responsive, and they fulfilled their promise to ensure I was satisfied with my stay. VRC provided effective customer service. I would stay at this home again because the location is beautiful with Twilight Lake, but I would like not to have to clean the house upon arrival.

Summer review.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very nice. There was no a/c and in 90 degree heat it can be warm in the cabin. The management company was quick to bring us some fans to help. There were a few minor things about the cabin that should be addressed. The railing on the back porch is falling apart. It's not really a big danger to anyone since its only about a 3 foot drop onto some soft grass but we were staying there with 4 toddlers so it was a concern for us. The back door in the living room did not properly lock. Also there was a ton of home construction going on around us. The cabin is not just 1 of four on that road anymore. The washing machine was broken and in the process of being repaired (waiting on parts to come in) but the management team was very quick to find a vacant rental for us to go to and use the washer and dryer. But all and all we loved the cabin and the location and had the best time.

Excellent location, property management company not so much

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the best neighborhoods to stay in while visiting Purgatory. The location and on-demand shuttle service makes this neighborhood top our list in the past 4 years. This property is as advertised, well decorated and equipped with plenty of kitchen items and great bathroom products. However there was tons of hair all throughout the house (not sure if it was human or animal). The bathtub in the master bath had not been cleaned in some time and some minor repairs are needed (kitchen faucet leaks/shoots water everywhere when pulled out, hair dryer not working, outside furniture broken, etc). All pretty minor.I would have given this property a 4/5 or even a 4.5/out of 5 but the property management company was by far the worst I've experienced in nearly 80 stays between Air BnB and VRBO. 1. They utilize some sort of texting service that is either AI generated or 3rd party from another country (non English). 2. When you call the help number, you are greeted by someone that is less than happy to take your phone call. I don't want much from a host or host company- but basic information requests that should have been delineated in a pre-stay email should be happily answered- not met with rudeness. 3. There was no instructions on how the house should be left, no booklet, no communication via email or text. I had to ask for these and was provided an AI generated list via text an hour before checkout AFTER requesting. 4. Having a simple email with "need to know" information would have been helpful. The Durango Collective (VRC) are clearly more interested in their own branding than actually management. 5. The "live" or maybe "local" person didn't communicate with the "text AI bot" and questions weren't answered.Overall, I hope the ownership of the property can find a different property management company as the property was well suited our two families and the location is the absolute best.

Nice, Cozy and Clean

This cabin exceeded our expectations on every level. My wife and I stayed there with our 12 year old girls and Labradoodles and we ALL loved it. It was immaculate, spacious, nicely decorated and very close to the Ski Village. We had fun playing in the snow in the huge backyard. It was conveniently located to the main entrance of the Resort. We feel very happy to have found this gem and will go back for sure!

Great for family and dog

Great trip. Awesome house. There were 4 adults and 2 grandchildren under 8. Plenty of room. Had trouble with TV and staff was awesome! We just wished there was more snow!!! Kitchen was stocked with some necessities and bathrooms had plenty of toiletries. Definitely recommend. Pet friendly too.
