We love Sunset Cabin! This is my husband’s and my fourth stay. It’s fairly private and the views are amazing! We enjoy soaking in the hot tub after a long hike and were able to prepare some great meals in the well-stocked kitchen. Be sure to check out Blackwater Falls and Dolly Sods nearby. Excellent place to see fall foliage!

Our 7th stay over the past five years. We call it our home away from home - our happy place. We enjoy this place so much. Dan and Barbara are gracious, welcoming hosts always checking to see that we have everything we need to be comfortable. My only recommendation is that the cleaning person look up and look down. Cobwebs on the ceilings and dirt/dust on the baseboard heaters.

We appreciate bringing this to our attention, and we’ll certainly pass your feedback along to our cleaning lady. I normally personally check behind our cleaning staff to make sure everything meets our standards, but unfortunately, we were out of town this time. We take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place for our guests. If anything falls short of your expectations, we are always more than happy to address it and make things right. We also make a point of checking in with our guests during their stay to ensure everything is satisfactory, so we were disappointed to learn of these concerns only after your visit. We sincerely hope that, should anything ever need attention during a stay, our guests will give us the opportunity to correct it right away. Your comfort and satisfaction are very important to us!
