Old Greenwood was Great

House was amazing, very large and spacious. Stocked with everything we needed.loved the setting on Old Greenwood. Would love to come back someday, or better yet buy a place in the neighborhood.

Disappointing Experience for a High-End Rental

We rented this mansion for a special family event—my son’s wedding—expecting a luxurious experience given the very high price. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by several issues: Landscaping: The landscaping in both the front and back of the house was not maintained. Dirt covered the patio, and it was evident that the outdoor areas had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. For the cost of the rental, we anticipated well-kept outdoor spaces. Fridge Malfunction: On the first day, the fridge was not working, leading to spoiled food. A replacement fridge was brought, but it was placed in the middle of the hallway, causing inconvenience. It took a couple of days for the new fridge to start functioning properly. We were informed that it takes time for the fridge to cool down once food is added, but this seemed inconsistent with our experience at home. Lack of Air Conditioning: Although it was mentioned on the site that the property does not have air conditioning, it was a significant drawback. With such a large mansion and numerous rooms, the absence of air conditioning was quite disappointing. While fans were provided, they did not adequately address the discomfort. Overall, I’m not one to complain lightly, but for the amount we paid, we expected a higher level of service and attention to detail. The renter should focus more on these aspects to ensure a truly luxurious experience.

We are very sorry the fridge stopped working during your vacation. I'm happy to see our team was able to quickly drop off a loaner fridge. Regarding AC, this is not a common amenity in our area. Less than 8% of homes in this area have AC. We do disclose this on the listing as well email guests’ tips & tricks to keep the property cool.

Amazing!

Everything about this location is TOP NOTCH. The pictures online do not quite do it justice. The property is beautiful. The layout is perfect. I can't say enough, and this house is the first place I think of for any gathering--regardless of the location.

Nice and roomy house in a great location.

Such a beautiful house that accommodated our 17 person group of friends and family. We were all comfortable and each family had their own rooms and separate bathrooms. The house is in a great location situated in a golf course that provided lots of privacy with our closest neighbors still far away. We’ve really enjoyed all the amenities and the kids loved all the different board games that was readily available. There is also a shuffle board on the 2nd floor family area. Overall it was a great house and we will definitely come back again the next time we visit Tahoe. The staff was really nice and got responded to all our questions quickly.
