Detta Ă€r en enskild egendom. Detta har historisk betydelse som Women's Wyethia Garden Club i början av 1900-talet, med ett stort vackert mötesrum, ett kök och badrum som genom Ă„ren har renoverats och lagt till. ÖvervĂ„ningen entrĂ©nivĂ„ har fortfarande det stora vackra rummet med en eldstad, ett stereoljud med surroundljud och platt-TV. Matsalen ligger ocksĂ„ i detta stora rum. Köket tittar in i vardagsrummet / matsalen och har full service diskmaskiner och apparater. Det bakre dĂ€cket ser ner mot Truckee River och har tillgĂ„ng till den lĂ€gre nivĂ„n och gĂ„rden. Att gĂ„ in i det stora rummet frĂ„n det som ser ut som ett litet frĂ€mre ingĂ„ng Ă€r verkligen hisnande. Det finns ett gasgrill, uteplatsbord och stolar pĂ„ dĂ€ck.

NedervÄningen finns de tvÄ sovrummen, alla med eget badrum. BefÀlhavaren har ett större badrum med stor dusch. Det andra sovrummet har ett hÀrligt kaklat badrum och en fantastisk flodutsikt. BÄda sovrummen har privata dörröppningar till det yttre undre dÀck. Det större sovrummet har en platt-TV och DVD-spelare. Full tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare Àr i bottenvÄningen.

Jag har just lagt till en helt ny kungmadrass och en helt ny fullmadrass till sovrummen, baserat pĂ„ hyresgĂ€sternas förslag till en mer bekvĂ€m sömn. Älskar Tuft och nĂ„l madrasser! BĂ„da sovrummen har nu fullstĂ€ndiga gardiner för morgontĂ€ckning .... Jag gillar att vakna i mörkret, men inte alla gör det!

Somnar och lyssnar pÄ ljudet frÄn Truckee River som flyter mycket aktivt. LÀget för detta hus Àr bekvÀmt för att njuta av de charmiga historiska aspekterna av centrala Truckee. En promenad till staden Àr ofta snabbare Àn en bilresa och en park! Vid ingÄngen till denna envÀgsgata finns det ett kafé för en morgonpromenad och kaffe. location was terrific, close to great walks and farmers market on tuesday. also lovely to walk to restaurants nearby. the house was fantastic and communicating with the owner was super easy. this house is definitely on our list to return to for many years to come.

Perfect location next to Truckee river and just 5 min walk from “everything” in Truckee. You can really tell that this location was a “home first and foremost”, that gets Vrbo’d out to guests. Everything inside is REALLY nice. You will love it here!

Truckee River weekend

The house has a great location to walking to downtown Truckee. The house has an amazing great room that looks out onto the river. This is a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at Dinny's cabin on the river! Access to the new section of the Legacy Trail just across the river was a 2 min walk down the street and perfect for morning and evening walks with our dog. As pictured below, our pup loved relaxing on the deck overlooking the river as much as we did. Awesome bakeries, cafes, restaurants and shops were steps away. We spent our down time relaxing in the open and airy great room, appreciated all closet and drawer spaces in the bedrooms to unpack and settle in and loved the updated bathrooms with great showers. Dinny was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back to the Historic Truckee River House!

Perfect Location!

The location was incredible, we loved being able to walk to the coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and also to the paved Truckee River walk. The river was an amazing sound to fall asleep to at night. We will absolutely be visiting again!

Beautiful House

Beautiful house with a great view of the Truckee river. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful decor. Loved the open design of the upstairs. Very comfortable and enjoyed spending many hours just staying at "home".

Great location

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Great location, close walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. Backyard with Truckee river is amazing for relaxing during during the day and stargazing during the night. Lovely place to stay and hang out

The house is beautiful and has many amenities. Kitchen well-equipped. However, check with the host first if there is anything listed that you are depending on to be there, as there are some things missing. Even though there wasn’t snow, we had a lovely time in this lovely house. We would definitely enjoy visiting again!

Great Stay in Truckee!

We loved Dinny's house and will definitely book again! The main room is spacious and open with a great view of the Truckee River. The kitchen was better stocked than most with extras like foil, saran wrap, spices, oils, etc. Easy walk to downtown Truckee. The house was clean and welcoming and the water pressure in the downstairs bathrooms is no joke! A great place for four people to hang out, eat, play games and watch movies while in Truckee.

Perfection

Excellent site: walking distance to town, relaxing river noises, beautiful home. I hope to come back to Truckee again just to stay here. Cozy, comfy, perfect. The house is by the RR tracks, but I was never once awoken by any train noise. Note the master bathroom vanity was built for tall people; I could barely reach to wash my face, which was kind of hilarious. Bring your own step stool? Aside from the troubles of a short person, everything else was simply perfect. So glad to have stayed there!

Perfect Truckee Hideaway

After an 11 hr drive from SF Airport where we were turned around due to snowfall an hour from Truckee on Rt 80 and had to drive over to and up Rt 50 all the way around Lake Tahoe's east side, we were rewarded with this amazing house on the river. It's a good thing we made the effort because everything was shut down for the next two days in blizzard conditions. We enjoyed adventure walks, and precious down time with my son and his girlfriend who live in CA. 3 days of epic skiing followed. Other than a few dated, but working, appliances in the kitchen, everything about this house was perfect. Overall newly renovated with two bedrooms with full baths with radiant floor heat and very comfortable beds. Up stairs offers a large room with a very effective gas fireplace overlooking the river with a lovely deck and grill. The driveway was just long enough to fit our two vehicles. It was cleared a couple times a day, but the whole town was overwhelmed by this rare storm so we had to do some shoveling. Dinny, the owner, could not have been more available and helpful throughout our stay. We were very happy with this rental. We hope to return next year!

Wake up to Sound of River

And go to sleep with same sound since the Truckee River runs next to the backyard, one of many special extras at this house. It is more like a house than an apartment, with three bathrooms, three decks, an expansive livingroom and a kitchen that accomodates more than one cook. Very fast Internet, too. Spectacular river access/ views

This gorgeous property is even more beautiful than the pictures on VRBO. Morning coffee ( from Dark Horse Coffe down the road) on the deck started our day. You can literally walk in 5 minutes to the cute downtown of Truckee with a plethora of eateries and cute shops. You can fish in the river behind the house which was our favorite!

River House Rave!

We stayed at the River House for my husband's birthday weekend. We enjoyed a day of sunshine, followed by two mornings of snow! When you first arrive at the River House, it seems like a cozy little cabin, but once you open the door, you're greeted by a spacious open-concept room filled with windows that offer stunning views of the beautiful trees and flowing river.The house was immaculate, and the two bedrooms downstairs were spacious with their own dedicated bathrooms. There's also a full bathroom upstairs, which is convenient so you don't have to run downstairs. Truckee is a fantastic weekend destination with a lively atmosphere and plenty of great restaurants.We always looked forward to returning to the River House to enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had, and I want to extend a personal thank you to Dinny for being such an accommodating host! We look forward to our next visit!

Perfect home in town for a family

We had a great break in this warm and welcoming home by the river. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a base to explore the area and have shops, bakeries and restaurants a couple minutes’ walk away.

I just loved staying here so warm and cozy and love being right on the river. can not recommend this home enough, would love to stay here again. The owner was very nice and could not be more accommodating. Loved to be able just to walk to town.

I love this home and have recently moved in with a partner so I am making it available for folks who want to visit Truckee, a beautiful town that I moved to in 1987. This was a big winter and the Truckee River is flowing high and offers an amazing sound to fall asleep to. I have been a real estate agent in Truckee for 26 years and have recently retired turning the business over to my daughter. I am also a Radical Forgiveness and Manifestation coach and use this home for workshops and private meetings when it is not rented.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The location of this property, in the Lake Tahoe area, beautiful resort living is perfect for exploring all of the amenities available when living in paradise! Truckee has a wonderful small town energy which is easily accessed from this location. There is music, dancing, fine dining, concerts and a gallery within walking distance.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Being right in downtown Truckee has a tremendous benefit for exploring this historical community. Having access to the Truckee River is great for summer light recreating as well as beautiful snowy vistas during the winter. The elevation is just low enough to make winter snow management without a garage easy to handle. The location is close to all of the ski areas, Donner Lake for summer recreating and Lake Tahoe. Reno is only 30-45 minutes away from this downtown area for those who enjoy shows and/or casinos.
