Valsång i en dramatisk inställning på havet med fantastisk utsikt över havet surfa, solnedgångar och Pt. Cabrillo fyr - med tre sovrum, två badrum, och bara tre miles från Mendocino. Kan det bli mycket bättre än så här?
Det finns en stor, expansiv däck med utsikt över böljande havet med bluffen kanten bara 25 meters avstånd, en liten vik och fyren över bukten, och - för de överseende stunder - en badtunna.
Tre sovrum, ett öppet utrymme vardagsrum med massor av visa windows. Bara luta dig tillbaka, slappna av och förundras av utsikten. The Point Cabrillo fyr kan vara fascinerande ... viken - med sin historia av "The Frolic skeppsbrott - är bara några steg bort.

Whale Song ligger inom gångavstånd till staten bevara kring fyren och det är bara en halv mil promenad till Caspar Beach. En bra tillflyktsort ... men du måste dela Whale Song med fjädrade vänner - sångfåglar, måsar och gäss. På grund av klippans främsta plats finns en lägsta ålder av 10 år och över som krävs för alla gäster.

Pinot Fest!

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is spectacular! We were here for the Anderson valley Pinot festival, which also did not disappoint! Always so fun spending time on the coast. Can’t wait to visit again!

Love This Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is likely our favorite house rto rent we've found in this area. The view out the large glass windows and from the porch is spectacular. This year we spotted whales migrating on at least 4 days (you need binoculars to see anything more than a "spout ion the distance") and the ones on site are pretty beat up. The location is somewhat secluded even though there's some houses quite close to you on each side. We go in the off season, so we've rarely had any neighbors during our stay. The one thing that you need to be aware of is the lighthouse on the point shines brightly and constantly and will definitely leak through the window shades in the master bedroom, so if you're light sensitive bring some eyeshades to wear

Relaxing Getaway

Excellent view, enjoyed listening to the ocean and seeing all the coastal birds flying over. Close to trails and cove beaches.

Amazing View

Impressive views. Surrounded by nature and amazing experiences. Whales seen two days in a row. House is comfortable and has everything you need. Wish we had stayed longer!!

Excellent experience

The on line pics do not come close to the beauty of this coast property. The home is so warm and welcoming that it was very hard to leave. We couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate 3 major family milestones…60th bday, 80th bday and 60th anniversary.

Quiet and calm

Great views. We had lovely weather. Walks at local parks. House very comfortable and well appointed. Few ants in kitchen. Needs a little more attention to dusting (vents, lampshades)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second stay at Whale Song was as lovely as the first. We arrived later than we’d expected, on a cold dark night, and stepped through the front door to a toasty warm house with warm lighting from lamps turned on in each room. A perfect welcoming. The views in the house are amazing, with the waves crashing and the lighthouse in the background. The house is so cozy, clean, and comfortable, making you feel right at home. We do agree with the other reviewers who have been asking the past couple years for new mattresses! Seems odd that this hasn’t been done yet - kind of a big issue with a pretty simple fix. We only use the bed in the primary bedroom, and it is sunken in, lumpy, and pretty uncomfortable. That fix, and the addition of blackout curtains to block out the lighthouse beam while sleeping, would make that bedroom just perfect.Otherwise, a lovely stay! We will be back.

Stunning views

This property was amazing. Ample windows and a nice deck for watching the waves crash over the rocks. The grounds were well manicured and the house was well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Even our dog had a crate designated specially for her. the furnishings were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, firewood....the list goes on! I highly recommend this property for any length of time. It's between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Plenty to do, or do nothing but enjoy the scenery. Four days was not enough!!!

Amazing Location - Sub Par Interior

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is amazing which is why we rented this home for the second time. The problem is that all the issues we encountered on our first visit 9 months earlier were STILL unresolved. The master shower leaks, one of the two recliners is broken, there are spider webs throughout the house, the dishes in the cabinets are filthy, and the HVAC system is tricky and temperamental. For $300-$400/night I expect the home to be in better condition.

50th Birthday Blast

We vacation in Mendo for our annual birthday trip every year and staying somewhere new is always part of the excitement. The views were wonderful and we had everything from sunshine to rain. The incoming storm provided nothing less than spectacular crashing waves. We sat mesmerized watching and listening to 15-foot waves! The highlight of our trip was lounging in the spa one morning and then having massages out on the deck in the sun. What a luxury. The house is well-appointed and I like how the bedrooms are away from the main living area. Sitting on the covered deck in ricking chairs, drinking coffee or a cocktail is life!

Carpet is worn and stained and very old. Might be time to replace it.2. Mattresses also should be replaced. My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to rent Whale Song for our Anniversary. It's always booked because the house is so wonderful. We were able to stay a week this time and it was fabulous. The weather was clear and sunny every day. The big picture windows give awesome views from crashing waves to the ocean and beyond. Sunsets are breathtaking. The kitchen is great with all the necessary appliances. The entire house was very clean and comfortable. 3bd/2ba is way more than my husband & I need. But location, location, location is everything! This house has everything! Can't wait to return again.
