Sugar Mountain Resort ligger precis uppe på gatan där du kan ta lite varm choklad i skidstugan, prova skridskobanan och till och med golf (om vädret tillåter det). En kort biltur kan hitta dig som panorerar efter ädelstenar på Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, ziplinerar trädtopparna vid Hawksnest Ziplining eller går över Mile High Swinging Bridge för att få en fantastisk utsikt över bergen. We had great stay here. Amazing location. Top rate property. It’s located top of the mountain with amazing view. Everything about the stay was great. I’m actually looking into come back to same pace soon.

Awesome Place

Booked last minute and couldn’t have been happier with this condo. Everything about this place was great. The location to the slopes, the views, the cleanliness, etc. Our family of 4 had a blast. The pictures don’t do this place justice.

Great Location for Skiing at Sugar

Very nicely appointed condo within walking distance to slopes at the top of the Summit Express Lift. (There isn't an official trail. You have to either go around the access gate to the ski patrol shack and walk along the top of Tom Terrific and Boulder Dash or navigate up a little goat path that puts you out right at the top of the lift.) Beautiful eastern views facing Grandfather Mountain. There is a good assortment of pots, pans, and cooking utensils plus silverware and plates. There are coffee makers, a Keurig and a drip machine, but they were put away in a cabinet so you have to do a little searching.

mountain comfort

Roomy, clean and comfy. Loved the gas fireplace and large windows to enjoy the view. In winter, if any chance of snow, you will need AWD/4WD.

Great condo, beautiful view!

Great condo with a beautiful view! The property was clean and as described when we arrived. The condo was at the very top of the mountain so the views were spectacular. There is a trail just up the hill that you can walk to and hop right onto a blue run. Everything was great!

Pictures don't do this justice

Beautiful home at the top of Sugar Mountain with easy access to the bike park and ski lift. This property actually looked better than the photos. Fabulous views and easy access via sliding doors in living room and master bedroom. Easy parking, about two short flights of steps to get down the to unit. Make sure to walk up to the overlook and enjoy a sunset at least once while you are there.

Mostly positive experience. Owner needs to replace the dining chairs as seats are very uncomfortable because padding in seats is worn out! Best feature is lovely view in very lovely well maintained area.

Ski trip condo

The condo was well appointed and located within a short walk to the slopes at Sugar Mountain. Our only issue was the fireplace did not work which was important in our booking this place. We called the property management company but they were not able to come assess the issue during our stay.

Great condo

The condo is great. Great views. Convenient to the top ski lifts. We'll furnished with all the things you need for the stay, except a few minor cooking supplies. The condo is literally at the top of the nountain, so beware of snow and poor weather.

Beautiful views!

This property was awesome. Super clean, comfortable, and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay this weekend. The views were incredibly beautiful! We were able to get a glimpse on our last morning there (it rained most of the weekend). The only thing we could recommend is to make the check out instructions easier to find. There was nothing on/ near the fridge as stated for check out directions. I ended up digging in some kitchen drawers, finally finding something vague on the bottom of a pile of appliance manuals. Just a thought for future guests...but all in all, a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Location is the best, clean home and well stocked with all the kitchen and cooking tools one needs.

My husband and I spend a short weekend enjoying the awesome view of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains from this condo. The condo is located in a perfect place, close to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Linville, etc…You can’t go wrong, book your stay NOW, don’t wait!!

Amazing View!!

We loved our stay here! The view and layout of the property were phenomenal. Amenities perfection. We did notice a couple things seemed to have been missed during the cleaning, but overall excellent stay. Will return in October.

Top of the mountain

It was a great place , you can walk over and see the ski lift at the very top of sugar , that was cool , also the place had a beautiful view off the back deck over looking grandfather mountain, , the only complaint was it had no coffee , had 2 coffee makers but no coffee, kinda hard at 10:30 at night to go back down the mountain and get coffee, would of been great to know ahead of time , but I would stay there again

Stunning views

The condo was very well stocked with kitchen ware. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Views were absolutely gorgeous. We had some minor maintenance issues that didn't affect our stay. There were stairs going down to the unit that were a bit challenging, mostly when moving in and out.

Sugar Ski vacation

Great stay. Fireplace didn’t work and hot water heater was off. Had to reset breaker. Only recommendations would be to have more comfortable pillows and comforters. Everything else was great. View and location were amazing!

Amazing beautiful vacation home

It was like being home away from home. Fireplace and wine made the view awesome! Kitchen well equipped ( no oven mitts) but that was only a small thing) Bed was very comfy after a wonderful day of skiing!
