We were in Wilmington after moving my mother from Florida to NC. Location was great. Very clean easy to access. Manager real responsive. Loved the view.

Great Stay.

Everything was great. Only draw back is no onsite parking. We had to park two blocks away in a parking garage. Stop pick up pass then park car. Then go get car and come back to leave the pass. Not convenient. . .

Great place, lacking host

First, the property and location were perfect. I loved this place and if I’d had a better host experience, I would stay here again. My husband and I stayed here for a charity event two weekends ago. It was great. The first thing that was disappointing was when I mentioned I was arriving 30 min early but would go find a place to hang out. As a host myself I thought they may offer to give me the code early- but no- they waited until exactly 2:59 to send it. Then I messaged to ask if my friend could come by. She wasn’t staying the night and we were not at capacity for the unit but I thought it would be respectful to ask first. Host never responded so I didn’t feel comfortable having her over. Finally, I had to ask multiple times to get my damage deposit back. If I hadn’t, I likely would not have gotten it. As a host myself, all of this is really unacceptable.

Beautiful Spot in the heart of Downtown Wilmington!

We had a great time on our visit to Wilmy! It was so nice to watch the river each evening and again in the morning with our coffee. The condo is perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay for us

We were just down for 1 night for a concert. It was great. My only complaint was there was a lot of noise outside late… skateboarders at 1:30am and loud music… other than that, it was lovely

Location, Location, Location

The location of this riverfront property is ideal. We have stayed in this area often over the last 10 years or so. The views are amazing, we enjoy the Farmer's mkt, being able to walk to everything. This property is well appointed. New policy of the HOA is that netting be placed on the balcony due to pigeons, it impedes the view somewhat & was disappointing but this is a great property. Highly recommend

Uncomfortable

The net over the patio was such a turn off. You didn't want to sit out there because of the way it looked. The couch was so uncomfortable that it was very hard to watch TV. I glad we only stayed one night.

Perfect location to walk to all areas. The view from the balcony is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

Riverfront Downtown Wilmington Stay

This is a wonderful place to stay in downtown Wilmington! It is located in the heart of downtown with so many things to see and do. This place was perfect for my little family with a great view of the Cape Fear River and the Battleship. We will definitely stay here again.

Terrific View!

Perfect spot for a getaway for us. We went Sunday & Monday nights & it worked out great, as Sunday was very busy around town but Monday much less crowded. High floor in building made it more quiet, too. Kitchen very well equipped. Great view of the river and battleship. Be careful while unloading/loading car as they are very strict with the rules. Took a long time to get security deposit back - the only real downside. Overall we would recommend this property.

Great location, lacking in other ways

My husband I came to spend some time at the beach and view the fireworks. We’ve stayed in this building a couple times before. Pros: location, cleanliness Cons: View obstructed by pigeon netting that was apparently new. It is not in the photos. Our whole reason for staying in this condo was to view the fireworks from our balcony. Patio furniture falling apart and parking is off the premises. We’ve previously parked at the building.

Good location. Walking distance to everywhere downtown. Parking is off site, but safe. Condo was perfect for two, maybe cramped for 3. Kitchen is small but well equipped.

Gorgeous River View condo

This condo is perfect for a getaway and within walking distance of everything! Downtown Wilmington has so much to offer! Gene was very communicative about check in & out procedures. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location. Property OK, Bathroom sink not draining well, Ok furniture, good bed, weird to have vacuum out in the bedroom, nice to have a little porch with a good view. Wilmington was not our favorite city. Will not be coming back.

Too many instructions

If you want a relaxing easy carefree stay, avoid. Paragraph messages with instructions and rules, a front door lock that barely works, 0 ambiance, and LOUD LOUD LOUD from the bars outside.

This appartment is Spectacular!!! Has to be the cleanest, and most equipped appartment we've ever stayed in. The Manager was the nicest, and communication was spot on. Gorgeous view. Can not speak enough how amazing this appartment is!!

Perfect property with stunning views

My husband and I did a weekend getaway at this property, and it was absolutely perfect! The place was clean and nicely decorated. But the main clincher was the unbelievably gorgeous view from the balcony! My husband and I spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony, looking at the battleship and the sunsets and the boats on the river. The brilliant relaxation we needed. My husband and I did not need our car any of the time as we were within walking distance to absolutely everything we needed. So glad we landed on this place via VRBO!!

Great location and view but the property was not equipped very well. One dinner fork, only light in kitchen is bottom of microwave, fixture in living area was broken, hall lightbulb was out. Will not be returning to this unit.

Disappointed

After reading several great reviews, I was looking forward to staying a night, however, our experience was not good. The condo smelled moldy which we tracked to the shower head. It was covered in black mold. The bed was not stable. If you sat on one side, the other popped up. The front door had no weather stripping at the bottom leaving about a one inch gap to the outside. The couch needs cleaning.The microwave was dirty inside even though we hadn't used it.The coffee maker had old water in it. There was sugar and creamer left for us but they had been left open.The sugar was a solid massThe positives are the location and the view. The host was good. He gave clear instructions and was responsive. We were only staying one night and checked in and quickly left for our event so didn't take the time to complain at check-in as we were only staying the night. I would not have stayed there another night.

Great location, average stay, needs improvement

The apartment has a great view and is in a great location downtown, as I hoped it would be for the price. You can walk anywhere. It was bigger than I thought as well. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the balcony because it was covered in old dried up bird poo. I did wipe down the coffee table and cushions with my wet wipes but it wasn't possible to avoid the poo on the ground... The floors were not clean in the apartment so I wore my slippers around. 👎 Posting referred to pullout couch, but it's a futon. Futon was not made upon arrival for bed. The futon was ripped/torn and the mattress is worn. You can feel the springs. It needs to be replaced. The kitchen was cute, but the only sponge on hand was soiled and smelled bad, and needed to be replaced. I had to wash hands after using sponge because the sponge was so stanky. The bedroom had blinds, but no curtain and sun up was at 6AM bright in the room since. Recommend to add curtains. It was odd that we had to take our own trash out, which had to be thrown in a super tall dumpster out back. Make sure your strongest friend takes that duty on to chuck it 6ft up. I have NEVER had to take trash out at a stay before. No extra garbage bags were provided. The property manager did not respond to my messages thru VRBO, so I had to track down the phone number and call for a question. He was curt on the phone for someone trying to provide customer service. I called twice and he was this way both times.
