Comfortable family get together

Very suitable for large family celebration - grandparents, children and grandchildren. Good pool which was safely fenced in so that younger children could not get in when no adults were around. Enough seating indoors and outdoors for our party of 14. Helpful host.

Un grand gîte à la campagne proche de toutes commodités

Excellent week-end en famille pour fêter un anniversaire. Chambres et salle bains confortables. Nous avons pu profiter des derniers aménagements dans le vieux manoir. La cuisine bien équipée et une grande pièce conviviale où une bonne flambée a réchauffé les plus frileux, nous ont permis de nous retrouver tous ensemble sans être à l'étroit. Nous avons également pu disputer des parties de pétanque en extérieur, et des parties de ping-pong acharnées dans le préau nouvellement fermé, ce qui a permis de jouer même tard pour les plus jeunes.

Super week end

J'ai passé un excellent week-end. Nous étions 18, nous avons pris l'option piscine chauffée, drap et manège. La piscine était à une température somptueuse. Les draps pour les lits doubles étaient sur les lits, pour les lits simple dans une cagette sur la table. Les + : Le manoir est encore plus grand et plus beau en vrai que sur les photos. Pas de voisinage aux alentours donc nous avons pu faire la fête sans avoir peur de déranger, en respectant le règlement intérieur. Marc et Alexandra sont réactifs et disponible. Nous avons eu une fuite d'eau le samedi matin, ils sont venus assez rapidement et ont pu régler la situation. Les - : un nid d'oiseau était présent au dessus du barbecue et de la table, pleins de crotte sèches étaient au sol et sur les tables. Pour le recyclage des bouteilles en verre, il faut aller dans une école primaire à 2min en voiture. Beaucoup plus de + que de -, je recommande donc vivement ce manoir.

Maison idéale pour de bons moments en famille

Trois jours pour réunir enfants et petits-enfants a l’occasion d’un mariage familial à Angers. Bcp d’espace pour les enfants qui ont été très heureux dans le grand dortoir. Piscine, ping-pong, foot, molki:le bonheur pour nos jeunes..,billard pour les parents. Excellente ambiance créée grâce aux commodités et aux grands espaces de cette maison. Merciiiii

Excellent week-end !

Nous avons passé 2 jours entre amis dans le Manoir de Chambellay. Tout s'est très bien passé, le manoir est grand, et les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables. Nous avons même pu mettre un peu de musique et nous n'avons apparemment dérangé personne. Wendy et Marc ont été très prévenants et disponibles. Merci encore!

Excellent grand week-end en famille

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces trois jours en famille ( 8 adultes et 9 enfants ). Le temps splendide a permis de profiter largement de dla grande piscine, les repas pris sous le vaste préau étaient très agréables et la cuisine est très bien équipée. De plus l’hôtesse est charmante et très à l’écoute.

Great Stay for Large Family

We stayed for a week with extended family, 18 total with 10 kids and there was plenty of space and bed options for everyone. The kids enjoyed the space of the large dorm room up the tower with 8 beds. We played at the pool a lot and appreciated that it was closed off and heated for little kids. There are some updates that could be made, in the bathrooms or kitchen, but everything functioned well and we had no problems. It's a charming place, so don't expect a lot of modern amenities. There was wifi and close to stores and small towns for anything needed. We enjoyed a day in Angers as well as a day of horse racing at the next town over and visiting the market. Overall we had a great time and the communication with the owners was great throughout.

Parfait!!

Nous avons séjourné à 21 amis au sein de cette propriété et il n’y a rien à redire. Le lieu est magnifique, de l’espace pour tous et chacun a eu son lit, confortable qui plus est. La piscine en période de fortes chaleurs est un vrai plus et le mobilier extérieur mis à disposition permet la détente et le repos. Nous avons trouvé un logement propre et très bien aménagé pour faire la cuisine à plusieurs - les trois barbecues sont à souligner! Le lien avec notre hôte Wendy fut très agréable. Elle a su nous renseigner sur les commerces de proximité. Nous recommandons ce lieu les yeux fermés, tout en espérant pouvoir nous aussi, y retourner!

Détente et convivialité

Un emplacement au calme, en pleine campagne. Un grand abri extérieur, une vaste salle de séjour pouvant chacun accueillir tout le monde. Une cuisine très agréable. Les nombreuses chambres et sanitaires ont permis à chacun de trouver facilement sa place. Nous avons passé un formidable week-end en famille.

Manoir, très agréable pour un week-end entre copains (20 personnes) Nous avons pue profiter de la piscine chauffée. Préau très agréable qui nous a permis de profiter de l’extérieur jusqu’à tard le soir. Je recommande pour un groupe famille ou copain.

Superbe week-end entre amis!

Nous avons loué le gite pour un week-end automnale, nous avons passé un super week-end dans cette grande et belle maison. Vous pouvez vous fier aux photos qui sont conformes à la maison, c'est à dire pleine de charme, traditionnelle et rustique. Pour être tout à fait honnête, nous avons eu un petit litige concernant la propreté de la maison à la fin du séjour mais Mr. De Charnacé a été arrangeant et compréhensif. Je recommande vivement ce bel endroit!

Perfect to get away from it all!

We very much enjoyed a family holiday in this property ( actually 2 buildings). The house is very well equipped and the rooms are extremely spacious. There are were 4 bathrooms plus 2 downstairs toilets, so no worries there. The house is very old and therefore doesn't appear to be spotless as certain rooms, particulary bathrooms, need a little updating. However the house was very clean and no concerns really. If you are wanting to get away for a peaceful holiday then the location is perfect. It is very isolated with just a herd of cows for neighbours - lovely. There are no shops or bars within walking distance, a car is essential, but there is a wonderful bakery just 5 km away in the next town and larger supermarkets are available within a 20 minute drive. There is a large outdoor pool, we chose to opt for the heating to be on, which is perfect for relaxing around. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs are provided. There is also a French Pool table and table tennis available. Our favourite aspect was the outdoor seating area. Adjoining the main house it is a covered area with large tables, lots of seats and two barbecues, perfect for large family meals. Extra tables also made it a great 'jigsaw' area! It was easy to get to main roads and so days out are not a problem if you get fed up of relaxing!

Un superbe manoir angevin pour une cousinade réussie à la campagne !

Magnifiques bâtiments avec 8 vrais chambres, très au calme (sauf les vaches à côté!) une grande cuisine et une grande salle. Les équipements sont suffisants pour 20 pers et le supermarché n'est qu'à 9km. La relation avec l'hôte est excellente. La piscine est le point fort sur place. Petit regret, le billard, d'excellente qualité, n'autorise pas un recul suffisant pour jouer sur toute la table ! Merci encore à nos hôtes, attentifs à ce que tout se passe bien!
