Great place to stay.

We went for a week around high school spring break from NY. The location is great. It’s slightly away from the peer so it’s a bit quieter but still walking distance to food and fun. Plenty of fun things to do at the building and easy to get to the beach. Tiki Bar prices were too high but we just didn’t get drinks there. No real complaints.

Too much weed

Rented a nonsmoking facility and couldn’t leave ocean view patio door open due to the weed smoking group next door. Contacted security twice, first time no improvement, second time worked for 24 hours. Third time contacted property management and lasted remainder of our stay which was a day and half. Our condo space, in itself was decorated cute And was very nice.

Interesting

A lot of things were broken in the place, from vaccum cleaner, to pictures, to the shade on the balcony, to main door lock. I love this place and I’ve never had a bad time. But the condo no. The chairs arms in the living room were very gross.

Summer Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Tidewater 1010! We had a couple of small maintenance issues that were resolved within 24 hours which was great. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It does not have a Keurig but it does have a regular coffee pot. I had a couple of questions for the host and they responded immediately. Park on level 2 when you get there. That is where the walkway is where you will walk across the street through the overhead tunnel to check in. There is also a 30 min unloading zone on level 2. The water was closed the first 2 days we were there but we made the most of it and enjoyed both of the outdoor pools. There is a little store that has Starbucks, daiquiris, and Edys ice cream. It is onsite down by one of the outside pools. The other pool has a tiki hut. There are 2 ramps for wagons and 4 stations with hoses to rinse off after a day at the beach. Our room included the beach chair rentals which was amazing! There is also a place to inflate your floats with an air compressor over by the Starbucks area. Overall we would stay here again. Only areas of improvement would be to clean the pools more often—seemed to be a lot of hair in the water. And the elevators were extremely slow. Check in early to avoid the lines. I checked in at 2:00 with no problem.

Terrible

The bed in the second bedroom was good. The balcony was nice. This resort does not have the proper infrastructure to handle the amount of rooms. The elevators are ridiculous and they hold your id hostage to use a cart. Plan on waiting an hour to go anywhere. Taking the stairs isn’t a great option. The cleanliness was so-so. The master bedroom bed is sad you can see the lumps as soon as you walk-in. No blanket for the pull-out. The disposal didn’t work so water backed up in that sink. When your stuck waiting don’t plan to go online or watch a lot of tv as the internet is slow or goes out. For the hype and price you just expect more. Will try something else next year!

Great condo, horrible elevators

The condo was amazing. The room was amazing and clean. Beach access was wonderful as well. Pools were clean and great as well. We had a wonderful experience! The only drawback to this condo is the elevators. They were horrible. I think we only rode them 5 times the entire 7 days we were there. Waiting on elevator in a 30 story building is ridiculous. We were thankful this condo was on the 10 floor. They need more running elevators.

Spring Break Stay

Overall, the property was nice. It just needed cleaned. Our room had black mold in all three bathrooms and in the refrigerator. The company promptly addressed the situation which was appreciated. The building had great proximity to anything you might want to do with families.

Perfect location for beach getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Tidewater Beach 1010 very much! It was exactly as the listing described and showed in pictures. The condo itself was nicely furnished with everything you need for a beach getaway. We had no complaints about the mattresses. We had plenty of room for me, my husband, our two teenagers and their two friends, The beach was clean and the water was crystal clear. The amenities at the resort were very nice. We couldn’t swim in the outdoor pools because they were icy cold. (I thought one was supposed to be heated, but I guess I got that wrong.) it was wonderful to have the two beach chairs and umbrella every day! The best thing about the condo was its location. We loved how close it was to Pier Park (a short walk). We loved the stretch of beach, too. The only issue is the elevator situation, as many other reviewers have noted. We chose a 10th floor property so we could take the stairs if needed. We chose to walk down several times when the elevator wait was longer than 5 minutes, and we walked up three times due to waits longer than 10 minutes. Other than that, we were able to get an elevator within 5 minutes. It’s just good to know the situation going in rather than be shocked by the waits. It definitely was not a deal breaker for us and we never experienced the hour-long waits I saw in other reviews. Our family and friends had a great time and would definitely love to come back!

The pools located on each side of the building were cold. It was like there was a wind tunnel on both sides. The beach was warmer than being pool side.

Very Nice Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was very nice! It has an amazing view and the balcony wad clean with great furniture to watch the surf and beachcombers with our morning coffee or watching the sunset with a glass of wine in the evening! I was very happy about how clean it was. We didn't get black feet from walking without shoes! The Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The condo kitchen is well stocked. Their check in instructions advise if you need any specialty cookware to bring them with you. Pier Park mall is short walk from the resort. Communication by email with Bob at ECDI was great he was very quick to reply to my questions. The resort is very clean and security is very good. We would stay here again!

Definitely not worth the money!

The room was really nice but needed a major clean and update. The rug in the living room was black and so was the curtains. The arms and cushions on the chairs were brown (should've been white). We had to purchase pan and cooking sheets because we had none. The mattress in each room was pretty bad. The one room had a memory foam mattress. You would literally sink down in it. The elevators was a nightmare. We waited for one for over 30 minutes. The room comes with a set of beach chairs but you have to get out there 45 minutes before they open and stand in line to get reserve a decent one. Loved the location but it was definitely not worth the money.

Beautiful property

The unit had a great view very clean. Could use some more cooking skillets. The staff was very helpful and nice. Host was also great! Overall great trip with lots of memories. Would strongly recommend.

This Condo is AWESOME!

This condo was AWESOME! It is so spacious! The view was amazing and the balcony had clean, up-to-date furniture to watch the dolphins while enjoying our morning coffee! So many other condos we have stayed in have rickety furniture on the balcony that you are afraid to sit on, but not this one! Don't even get me started on the cleanliness of the condo! I cannot say enough about how clean it was. My spouse and I both remarked about how we didn't get coal black feet from walking barefoot the very first day! The bathrooms were spotless, as were the other rooms in the living areas. I re-arranged a few chairs the first day and you could tell they had been cleaned under! The condo kitchen is adequately furnished as I am sure they cannot account for items being broken. As with any condo, if you need any special kitchen items, I would bring them just in case. But we found it to be just fine for the meals we prepared. The communication with ECDI was ALWAYS helpful and they are very quick to reply if you have any questions. The people we spoke to/emailed were super helpful! The beach is lovely in this area and the walk to Pier Park is short. We will definitely stay here again!
