Detta ljusfyllda hus ligger på plan nivå med en helt inhägnad trädgård, med trädäck, grill och massor av rosor. Den vardagsrum-matsal-kök har topp tak, en öppen planlösning och en vägg av fönster till trädgården och en gas spis. Det finns ett annat däck vid ytterdörren för att fånga den sena eftermiddagssolen.

Gå ut genom ytterdörren och sväng västerut på de lugna, praktiskt taget trafikfria grusvägarna i Bolinas stora mesa. I två korta kvarter är du vid den södra gränsen till Pt. Reyes National Seashore - en enorm, gräsig äng som leder från en hästranch över bluffarna ovanför Stilla havet (på en klar dag kan du se Farallones). Eller gå några kvarter söderut för att förbise surfarna utanför Bolinas och Stinson Beach och till San Francisco och Devil's Slide längre söderut och fortsätt sedan längs vägen till staden och stränderna.

Winter week in Bolinas

Quiet Getaway

A comfortable accommodation, close to Pt.Reyes, Stinson Beach, and hiking trails. Bolinas Loop Trail was a favorite. We enjoyed star gazing in the evening and morning coffee on the deck.

Lovely getaway. Kind hosts.

Stinson beach??

The property was great. Cute & clean little house. The location was not so great. I didn’t know the area as good as I thought. That’s my fault. It’s quite the drive to get to this house. Very remote.

Great house!

My family has stayed here twice now and the house is wonderful! It is a great set-up with kids and I appreciate the fenced backyard. So quiet and peaceful and has everything we needed!

Perfect Place in Bolinas!

We had a great stay at Hilary and Don’s house! The house is in a fantastic location, comfortable and clean. It was a perfect place for my family to stay while we visited Bolinas. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely little find!

We had such a great time at this little cottage….private, quiet, well set up. Dogs LOVED the large, fenced, secure backyard. They could not stop exploring. Nice patio area for dining any time of day. Had to contact owners regarding a minor blip and they were very responsive and great to deal with. Thank you for sharing your get away home with us!

Yoga retreat

My friend and I had a yoga training in Point Reyes. This home was a great place to be out of the city with patio and spacious backyard. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the gear we needed for our stay. It was dark and quiet at night which offered a blissful night’s sleep. Thanks for such a homey place to stay.

Lovely house, property, and location

This lovely house and yard was perfect for our needs: clean, cheerfully decorated, more spacious than anticipated, with a large fenced yard that accommodated canine Zoomies & Fetch. The owners' instructions were clear and easy to follow. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the comfortable beds and linens. Everything we needed, plus beauty and quiet. Thank you! We hope to return.

Cozy Get Away

This was a very cozy, bright home. It was very clean and the bedrooms were quite spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck. It’s in a very peaceful and quiet area and we especially enjoyed peering at the night stars.

Beautiful retreat

It was mostly rainy, yet the nature let us walk twice to Bass lake and Alamere falls, everything is so green and fresh. And since the early winter sunset till late sunrise the home provided us with all the comfort and quietude. Many thanks to our hosts, Hilary and Don. Happy New Year!

Lovely stay

The home is bright and airy. The owners generously allowed us to check in early, which we greatly appreciated, as we had two kitties traveling with us. The home is a little older-looking than we had expected but was very comfortable. We don't like to leave our cats at home during fire season and were very pleased the owners let us bring them with us!! There were plenty of dishes and the beds were very comfortable!

Clean and Quiet

Sweet little house with all the things you need to be comfy. Nice kitchen and equipment, you can really cook here or take advantage of local restaurants and markets, there is a dishwasher and plenty of easy to use and stack dishes so you can go 2-4 days and run a load. The beds are super comfy and there are extra comforters and blankets and plenty of bath and dish towels. Nice private backyard, tables and chairs scattered around so you can catch the sun enjoy happy hour and let your pup (and you) have some freedom in the securely fenced space. The two gas heaters can get thing warmed up nicely in a reasonable amount of time. Great access to the outdoors and lovely walks. This area is rustic, not shiny and flashy but so quiet at night. The owners were lovely to communicate with. We will be back.

Lovely and Peaceful Home

My husband and I along with our dog so enjoyed our stay. This home is very clean, comfortable and filled with light. The kitchen is well equipped with working appliances, gadgets, pots/pans etc which made cooking all of our meals easy. The bed was so cozy and comfortable and the white fluffy towels are our favorites. Sitting outside in the yard enjoying our morning coffee was lovely and our dog was safe in the enclosed yard which he loved. The neighborhood street was quiet. We appreciated our walks to the town of Bolinas and Agate Beach. The owner responded very quickly to a question we had and he was so friendly and kind. Bolinas is experiencing a severe water shortage. For us doing our part to be conscientious about water use was a no brainer-doing our part for this wonderful community.

Great dog-friendly place in Bolinas!

We love Don and Hilary’s place! We stayed for a week with our 2 dogs. The fenced yard and gardens are lovely, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and the space is light and bright. Don and Hilary are easy to communicate with. We will be back!

5 nites on Marin coast

Had a great stay, perfect location and great setting. Fog and sun, loved it. Recommend Coast Cafe downtown Bolinas. Owners are great, we accidentally left something there, they notified us immediately and we were able to retrieve it easily. Hope to return!

A Charming Getaway

This is a charming property in a unique neighborhood on a dirt road. Very well-appointed. We loved the location, even though it was not near a beach, because we could visit both Point Reyes and Stinson Beach easily. The yard is very pleasant, and we appreciated the butterflies, hummingbirds and blue grouse that visited.
