Vi är belägna 10 minuter från byn Mendocino, Big River Beach, Mendocino Woodlands och Mendocino Headlands. Beläget i en lugn frodig miljö med Redwoods och vilda Rhododendrons gränsar till Jackson State Forest.
Stugan har ett sovrum och badrum och vardagsrummet har ett fullt utrustat kök. Det mest lämpliga för ett par, men ett eller två barn är ok om du inte bryr dig om att ta med din egen sovutrustning och använda fönsterstolen och / eller soffan.

lovely cottage in the woods

Quiet and serene cabin in the woods. Just a short drive to Mendocino and the coast. Kitchen is well supplied and living room is spacious. Beautiful, large, private decks under the redwoods.

Great stay near Mendo

Excellent property in the redwoods. Nice and secluded but short jaunt into Mendocino. Very clean with all the amenities you would want. We enjoyed the fireplace on a cool rainy evening. Would stay in same place if we are in the area. Hosts were excellent in alerting us to temporary road closures due to weather.

Peaceful Mendo retreat

What a sweet little slice of heaven in the Mendocino redwoods! My partner Chris & I loved staying in this beautiful cottage... so quiet and comfortable ! Mendocino Cottage Review

My wife and I had a wonderful 1 week stay. This was our 5th 1 week stay here. We just love being in the redwoods and enjoying their beauty. It is so peaceful and quiet. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. It's located about 5 miles from Mendocino. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful Cabin in the Redwoods!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten night stay in this well-maintained and well-equipped cabin. Located in a quiet setting among beautiful redwood trees, several trailheads of the Jackson Demonstration State Forest are within walking distance. The town of Mendocino and ocean hikes are only four miles away. On many days when the marine layer covered the coast, we returned home to sit with our dog on the sunny deck. A memorable experience all around.

As peaceful and relaxing as it gets

What a great place to come "home" to after a day of cruising the coast and taking in all it has to offer. The cabin was spotless while cozy with beautiful grounds and all the amenities one could need. We only ate out once, for lunch, during our stay. The rest of our fantastic meals were made from local goods, and yes, crab, crab, and more crab! Debbie and Ron, I wish we could have talked more but the privacy was welcome too. We will be back soon!

Perfect rest/work solitude environment

Beautiful, well attended, fully equipped, clean cabin surrounded by redwoods, 4 miles from the intoxicating ocean. With always available but invisible host family. WIFI brought in my daily yoga classes from Boston, I cooked dinners, made progress in my work, hiked the redwoods, sat by the fire in the wood stove, spent time writing by the ocean (few feet from the waves), watched Netflix, visited gardens, in the morning walked the village with cappuccino and freshly baked pastry. There was one disappointment though - after many decades of traveling, since I was driving this time, I decided to bring my own pillow – and what do you know, the pillows in the cabin were much better than mine!!! To some, this is what heaven looks like...

Third Time !!!

This was our third time staying at this property. Always a treat to be here. Kitchen well equipped with all the right utensils. Great gas stove! Six skylights and two big picture windows facing the forest. Had a power outage due to a winter storm. Owners very quickly connected cottage to power generator, all was well. We hope to stay next year. For us, the cottage is our favorite good habit.

Peaceful and cozy

The cabin is beautiful and feels private. It has a heater and a wood burning stove (with wood) that kept us warm. Full kitchen and fridge with allowed us to cook our meals as needed, they even had pots, pans, utensils, salt and pepper etc. They have some games, puzzles, and books too. Several books on local trails and wildlife, as well as binoculars - these were great to have. It was quiet outside, and we could see the stars. It was a pleasant stay and not too far from Mendocino or Ft Bragg. We hope to stay here again in the future :)

Peace and quiet in the Redwoods

This peaceful and secluded property is 4 miles from the town of Mendocino. It is well kept up, well equipped for 2 people and very clean. We did have a problem with the wall heater, but the owner was right on it and willing to help us out. We can't wait for our next trip to Mendocino and hope to stay here.
