CasparCottage är en charmig, lugn, snyggt och nyinredda stuga som vi byggde på våra fem privata tunnland, med en promenad genom en rödvedskog till vattenfallet i ryska Gulch State Park. Vi ligger bara 3 mil uppför kanten från havet och 10 minuter från Mendocino eller Fort Bragg. Det är en perfekt plats för smekmånad, årsdag, speciellt tillfälle eller lugn reträtt. Den har en bekväm dubbelsäng med duntäcken och fina sängkläder, bäddsoffa, fullt utrustat anpassat kök, gas BBQ och picknickbord med strålkastare ovan för att njuta av naturen på kvällarna, vackra anpassade skåp och ett vackert marmor kaklat badrum med bubbelbad badkar och stor dusch.

Stugan är privat, obefläckade, mycket bekväma och snyggt inredda. Lågor från en emaljerad europeisk propan spis ger värmen och mysigheten i en eld med bekvämligheten med en termostat. Det finns en CD-spelare, DIRECTV w / HBO, DVD / VCR med litet bibliotek med filmer, satellitinternetanslutning, strykjärn och hårtork. Vi erbjuder kaffe och te, rostat bröd och sylt och färsk frukt och blommor. Från stugan kan du gå genom Redwoods till en vacker vattenfall, eftersom vi är nära den ryska Gulch State Park Waterfall Trail och cykelleder i Jackson State Forest.

Caspar Cottage
Incredibly beautiful property with welcoming hosts. The nature setting was just what we needed. Kitchen is well-equipped, jacuzzi tub is gorgeous and surrounded by windows, and the large windows made us feel like we were outside in the lovely garden even while lounging inside on the couch. We used the grill every night and walked to/from the waterfall a few times. Simply gorgeous!

The place was better than the photos showed. It excelled on all levels. The host was very helpful, the surroundings were beautiful. It was clean, comfortable, and everything worked as it should. It was also beautiful and well decorated. We would definitely stay there again.

Ultra clean and very well equipped. This place is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The plants around the property are like a botanical garden, extreme care is put into this cottage ad the foliage around it. We recommend Caspar Cottage 5 Stars with special commendation.

Awesome Get Away
This little cabin is charming and secluded. This was an anniversary celebration for us. It is close to Ft. Bragg and Downtown Mendocino. The scenery and location are perfect for trips to explore the beaches and forest nearby. We were able to hike daily. The owners are on site and are so great at accommodating whatever it is you need. They left breakfast for us and really tailored it to us. We have allergies and there are so many foods that can't be eaten. If I could offer a suggestion that would make it even better, is a different mattress. Thank you for such a great time!

Sweet Cottage in the Forest!
What can I say but WOW! This was our first attempt with VRBO and we are so happy we chose this one. Everything was great from the fabulous bread and jam to the cleanliness, to the surroundings. We needed to decompress and this was the place. The ease and comfort and ability to cook our own meals is a bonus as well. Diane was so helpful with any directions and knowledge about the area. Beautiful forest getaway!
I had a very relaxing and lovely stay at Caspar Cottage! I appreciate all the effort that Dianne went through to make sure it was as safe and clean as possible in these Covid times. Make sure to leave the porch light on for yourself since only one of the solar path lights is working, but this is a very minor detail. The cottage has everything you need really, and is very comfortable, warm and inviting! If you plan to cook a lot, the kitchen counter is extremely small and the refrigerator is fairly small as well--not a big deal if you're eating out, doing takeout, or have brought a larger ice chest with you. It was wonderful being able to hear the rain on the roof, the frogs calling at night and the birds in the morning! While nestled in the forest, you are a very short drive to Fort Bragg with all its amenities, and of course the gorgeous Mendocino coast! This is a wonderful mountain retreat and I hope to come back soon!

Short Honeymoon getaway
I rented this property at the request of my newly married daughter and her husband. They were hoping for a nice, quiet getaway to celebrate their new life together and that is exactly what they got. A charming, quaint cabin secluded in the woods hosted by a very lovely couple was the report I received. Situated just far enough from town to make it convenient yet quiet. The breads and jams found at arrival were a nice surprise. Thank you for the wonderful memory.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Caspar Cottage. It was a very relaxing stay. The ammenities were thoughtful and hospitable. Cozy and comfortable
My husband and I had a beautiful weekend at Caspar Cottage. We had everything we needed and a comfortable bed. The weather turned out to be a bit raining so we had a nice time staying in, cooking our dinner and doing a lot of relaxing. We did hike to the waterfall which was very well worth it. We also went to the Botanical Gardens in Fort Bragg and brought a picnic lunch which we ate at the little cliff house with an ocean view - spectacular! Diane and Bob were very welcoming and we had a lovely time, we look forward to coming back again soon.

Idyllic, Lovely Location
Idyllic...Lovely, quiet location with comfortable and well appointed cottage that has very large windows that look out on forest views.-- Lots of daylight and plenty of lighting for evening. Little Frig even has a freezer. Large Bathroom with door, large shower and jetted tub. Everything else is open plan.

Diane was such a wonderful hostess! Had fresh flowers and delicious bread and fruit waiting for us. The coffee she left also was so good! Sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and hearing wonderful silence was so needed! I can’t wait to go back and stay longer

We built this sweet cottage on our five private acres near the end of the road at the eastern end of the Russian Gulch State Park. We also built our home and a small woodworking shop, and raised our children here. We have lived on the Mendocino coast for 35 years and love the Mendocino community.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Mendocino is a beautiful coastal village perched on a headlands overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It has a very active artists' community with many art galleries as well as fine restaurants and shops. There are five State Parks along our coast, perfect for hiking and biking and kayaking and birdwatching and beach combing. There are many activities and festivals throughout the year. Whale watching weekends in March, a Film Festival in early June, the Mendocino Music Festival in July, Mendocino Art Center Fairs in July and November, Winesong! in September and Wine and Mushrooms and Crab Festivals in November and January.
