Awesome condo and facility!

We had a great week in this condo. Everything was as advertised. Kathy was very accommodating. She even gave us great weather! We will look to stay here in the future.

Fun escape

We've stayed at the Vistas before, but the hurricanes have impacted some of the amenities. The beach side bar is close, elevators are partially operation and the hut tub was shut down for a short time. Our unit had limited dishware and did not have games and books as listed. We also could not find a broom or the listed medical kit. WiFi service was spotty. But, the Florida sun felt great and the beach was beautiful.

Snowbird Hideaway

While Sunset Vistas and the city of Treasure Island are still working to recover from hurricanes Helene and Milton, the resort is nearly fully back. Kathy's condo was clean and comfortable and has a beautiful view of the gulf. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Some things to note--The elevator near the condo is broken. Prepare to do a lot of stairs or use the west side elevator which is quite a walk from the parking space.-Very few utensils and cooking items in condo. Lots of glasses and sufficient pans but difficult to fix a meal for family of 5 with hardly any spoons or bowls. -Not sure about the complementary towel service? We had about 4 bath towels the whole time, 2 wash cloths and 2 dish cloths for 9 nights which was rough.-Cafe said they don’t do the 15% for customers staying at the condo anymore. -Beach bar not open. Pool not heated. We were so sad because that was what sold us on this place! It was ice cold when it was 70 outside.Many local things closed d/t repair. If there is something specific you want to do that the owner recommends on her list, call first. Several restaurants and places were closed.Very clean combo and super cute!

Recharging at the Beach

A few days in this condo was the perfect holiday treat! The condo and the weather were lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed. The sunset view from the porch was fabulous! The staff at the front desk and the cafe were wonderful! We will be back!

Treasure Island

Although Treasure Island had quite a bit of damage from the hurricane we still had a good time. Sunset Vista's Pools, Restaurant and bars were closed. Kathy Wilhelm was awesome to deal with. We had many questions and concerns before our trip. Kathy was always quick to respond.

Great family vacation!

Really great place to stay! We loved the cafe, it was very convenient for breakfast. The kiddie pool was awesome for my 1 year old, and the room was nice and clean. Highly recommended for families!

We had a great visit. The staff was very welcoming. Very clean, great location, tiki bar was nice, the cafe food was great. The kids loved the pool and splash pad.

Amazing and relaxing trip!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful vacation. We loved all the amenities at the location. Near to restaurants and shopping. The condo was in great condition! Very clean. Kathy was a pleasure to work with all through the booking process and our stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

Perfect condo for a beach vacation!

Was looking for a condo with easy beach access and this one definitely fit the bill! The staff at the front desk were so nice and accommodating when we first arrived. They held our luggage till we could check in and even suggested things to do. By the way a nice attraction is St. John’s Pass which is walkable-lots of shops and restaurants. Kathy, the host was so sweet. She reached out to me within days of my booking and reviewed things with me and even suggested places to go. Her condo is very clean and updated. A big bonus was the comfortable beds! The pool was great and it was fun to end our day at the Tiki bar. The beach access was an easy walk. If I ever get back to Treasure Beach you can bet I will be staying again at this condo!

Amazing Vacation Spot!

Our family truly enjoyed this vacation more than any other! The location is spectacular and we enjoyed the beach and pool every day! The walk to John’s Pass is so convenient and such a fun time! Lots of great food choices near-by. It is sheer perfection!!

New Year's Eve Getaway

This property was perfect for the amount of guests we had and provided us with absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay. First and foremost, the condo was just as it was described and there wasn't a single unwanted surprise. It is nicely furnished, has beautiful full size appliances, all of the kitchen necessities, and very comfortable beds including the pullout sofa for which plenty of bedding was provided. The kids enjoyed the pools and being right on the beach. The location is perfect and we loved being able to reach the boardwalk in a matter of walking minutes. Last but not least, Kathy was such an amazing host. She communicated with us before and during our stay and went above and beyond!

Peaceful rest

Kathy was amazing to work with and she provided so much information about the area, property and her rental. The pictures are exactly what you get and it was a great place for the 4 of us to vacation to get some rest and relaxation. We ate at the on-site cafe and never had a bad meal. Would recommend this property as it provides easy access to the beach and pool and a great view of the ocean from the balcony. Thank you Kathy.

We loved it there. As I said before we stayed at that same location last year different unit and floor. The condo was clean. Family friendly, pool was great and of course the beautiful beach. We enjoyed Johns Pass again and did jet skiing 3 times. Enjoyed the cafe for breakfast and the bar in the evening for a drink. Plan to stay in same location next summer. We enjoyed our vacation and used recommendations to go to Doc Fords for dinner for the first time.

Beautiful beach

The property was just ok but the beach was beautiful. The bathroom doors would not lock and the window blind was broken. There were also nail clippings on the floor when we arrived. Gross. The furniture was worn out and didn’t seem very clean. There were barely any eating utensils. It’s a dated property.

My husband and I are native to Buffalo New York. The cold winters in Buffalo are what brought us to vacation throughout Florida when our children were younger. We liked the laid back family atmosphere of the Treasure Island area and specifically Sunset Vistas. My husband also enjoys fishing and it is world class in this area. Being able to navigate the beaches with ease was a plus for us. There are times we only use our car for groceries.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Being small business owners it is difficult to get away for long periods of time and being in the Sunset Vistas rental program was a plus for us. Customer service is very important to us as vacationers and we wanted the same great service for our guests. No punching in a code to get into the condo or having to call an answering service if you need assistance. That's what are staff are for. We love the feeling of being at a hotel with all the amenities, yet, inside you have all of the conveniences of home. For us, it is the best of both worlds. The hotel atmosphere with the convenience and space of a condo and the ability to have breakfast and lunch "in" was an added plus. We have found this a big time and cost savings.

Having access to the staff at the property is what we like the best. It gives you a sense of security knowing that as a vacationer your personal contact with me is not over once the reservation is made. Our staff are there for you 24/7. They are a great group of people that will do everything they can to make your stay more pleasurable. Our location is within 20 minutes to downtown St. Pete, 20 minutes to Clearwater, 30 minutes to Tampa International Airport, 10 minute walk to Johns Pass, a 1 hour boat trip to the best deep sea fishing anyone could ask for and of course a 2 minute walk to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico!!
