Imagine waking up to incredible panoramic sunrises that you can enjoy from your master suite and the living room or retiring to South Padre Island sunsets that are new every day. You have one of the best views on the island for watching the sunsets or the Friday night summer fireworks from multiple private balconies.

You'll be staying in a large town home style condo in a resort building featuring two bedrooms downstairs with private balconies and private baths. The spacious living area upstairs provides 10th floor views of the Gulf of Mexico from two walls of glass in the living room, dining room and from the large private balcony. A half bath on the living level provides convenience both for daytime living and for your guests using the sofa sleeper for overnight accommodation.

Sunchase IV is a gated resort with beautiful grounds, private beach access, two pools and hot tubs, two children's pools, a 2nd floor library, a fitness center, and a 7th floor sundeck. The walk through the beautifully landscaped grounds to the private beach access is relaxing and there are shops, restaurants, and nightlife all within walking distance as well.

You may choose to dine out every night but the kitchen is fully equipped for those gourmet island meals. A full-size washer and dryer add to convenience and make this the perfect place for your South Padre Island family getaway!

Family mini vacation

My husband and I enjoyed our mini vacation with our daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters. This condo had plenty of room for all of us. It has everything you need. It is beautifully decorated. And the views of the Gulf of Mexico are breathtaking.

First South Padre Vacation

This was our first stay at SPI. We had a great time. The property was wonderful! The view from all of the balconies was spectacular, from sunrise to sunset! The pools were outstanding and the beach access was great. For us, the beds were a little firm but manageable. If we return to SPI, we would stay here again!

Beautiful Property, Terrible Weather

Property was beautiful and as described, great location with access direct to beach and minutes from restaurants and the island. On third day of stay, large storms rolled in with very heavy rain and wind. Seals were bad on patio door and main floor began to take on water. South Padre had tornado warnings and very bad flooding. Communication with manager about how to handle was slow due to many issues with multiple properties. Airports were even shut down due to flooding. Property was not updated or prepared for this weather. Otherwise, great stay and beautiful property! Just bad luck with the high winds and heavy rain…

Great stay and vacation

We had a great stay in padre in this adorable condo! I love the views from every room and being able to see the bay and gulf. Close walk to the beach. Spacious condo. Whole family loved it all. We will def be back.

Great Condo!

We have stayed at another unit previously but this one is my favorite. Well stocked and comfortable furniture. We had a great view and watched fireworks from our room. Will remember this unit for next year!

A view and a (tennis) ball!

We most loved the views from the many decks. Sunrise with a coffee on the front porch or sunset with wine out back, it was spectacular. But we also loved the tennis and the pool and the hot tub and the short walk to the beach. I will go back longer next time!

Stunning View

It was a little confusing at first locating the entrance, but once we found it there were no issues. This condo was absolutely breath taking. From the view from the bedrooms to the view from the livingroom and kitchen. The sunrises were angelic. We all enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return. Padre get away company has top notch service

Beautiful property! Bedrooms downstairs, living and kitchen upstairs. Views are amazing. Bring your own pillows. A little tough for an oldster to carry groceries upstairs, but worth it. Grounds are well kept. VERY quiet during the week, a bit noisy on the week ends. Would definitely stay again!

Quick end of summer getaway

Our family of 4 (2 teen boys) decided to squeeze one last getaway before the summer ended. We booked this unit last minute and could not have been more pleased. The unit is clean, well-kept and had great amenities. Everything we needed was included. The only issue we had was controlling the upstairs thermostat but that may have been user error. To sum it up, it was a fantastic stay and we will be back next summer!

Wonderful rental

This was a perfect rental. Just so beautiful overlooking the exceptionally clear S Padre waters of the bay and gulf. We had a wonderful time. The decor and amenities were spectacular. Though it was not needed, there were also things that could be used or borrowed there, such as beach coolers. Absolutely wonderful. It really impressed my girls. They’re spoiled to it now though. First time there set a very high bar.

Great place with some improvement needed

Amazing views and very clean! Great location. Loved it. Improvements- better blinds in master bedroom. Broken and outdated bringing in a lot of light. More back up toilet paper and paper towels. No ice maker

What you see, Is what you get!!!!

Everything was wondering and as advertised. Especially liked all the beach gear that was made available for daily use. Our only complaint were the missing blanks for the bedroom miniblinds, it made it seems like we had no privacy once the condo across from us was occupied.

Great beach view!

We love the condo and the view is great from both sides of the condo. One tip that I would offer is to keep the blinds closed during the day in the bedrooms downstairs. In the master bedroom, the temperature is comfortable only when the blinds are closed during the day. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The staff at Pardre Getaways are very nice and quick to answer questions. I would suggest that you plan ahead on your arrival time because the check in location closes at 5:00 pm. The decor in the condo is very well done. We would love to stay at this condo again.

Everything you could ask for

I am a land locked Canadian - its all about warm and water for me - this place has it all. Its well maintained, clean, safe - as pictured. It needs a small bit of updating, carpet on the stairs needs cleaning (i don't know what it is about Americans who wear their shoes in the house - take them off at the door!) Anyway - really no complaints at all - easy to get to the beach. Amazing views of the water - beach or bay. It is a bit windy up there on the 9/10 floor, but there are balconies on both sides of the unit so if its windy on one side, so to the sheltered side. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous Condo

We have rented many VRBO beach condos over the years and this condo is our favorite. First, it is a very large condo with two floors - bedrooms on floor 9 and living room kitchen on floor 10. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bath and there is a half bath on the floor 10. It has a washer/dryer. It has 3 VERY LARGE balconies - balconies on both sides of the building and on both floors - so you have views of the bay AND of the beach. It is a corner unit - so on the living floor, you have two whole sides of floor to ceiling windows - views out to the ocean and partially north along the beach. It is convenient to just about everything. The bedrooms also have floor to ceiling windows and the master has two walls of windows (the corner). The condo is bright and cheerful, immaculate and fully equipped.

Nice Beach View

Very nice place with good views of the beach, bay, and causeway. Can see the fireworks on beach from top floor balcony and on bay side from bottom floor balcony. The Sun Chase grills down stairs are a nice accommodation, but they are in very bad shape and need work. Grills are the responsibility of Sun Chase, not the unit owner. Minor cosmetic issues in unit typical of rentals and no worse than other nice place we have stayed in. Two recommendations: 1. There are missing window blind slats down stairs in the bedrooms and sun light beams through very bright in the morning. The pull down window shades on the top floor are very nice. 2. The thermostat is locked and defaults to 76 which is pretty toasty in the summer as there is a ton of heat penetrating through all of the windowed walls. We kept moving it back to 72 degrees every time it reset to 76. Carrying a lot of groceries up to the kitchen on the second floor is a little cumbersome, but it is a minor sacrifice to get the 10th floor view of the beach. These are merely candid remarks and we have no complaints at all. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you
