Perfectly located and very private, with plenty of space for four people. We loved the BBQ, beautiful views, and easy access to nearby trails. An excellent base for exploring the area.

We spent 3 nights here and loved every bit of it. The host, Gary, met us promptly once we arrived to review a few things regarding the chalet. The chalet itself was in a nice central location for all the day trips we had planned. It was very clean, had comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen too. My girls loved the hot tub and I appreciated the mountain views from it. I also loved seeing the lake from the kitchen window. The host even had a French toast bake in the fridge for our arrival which was so appreciated (and tasty!) after some long travel days. It was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Comfortable and relaxing home with beautiful views. Peaceful location with easy access to Seward- couldn’t think of a better place to spend a few days.

Wow what a great place to stay when visiting the Kenai! The cabin/chalet is exactly as described. We stayed with our two grandson (16/18) They took the upstairs loft and it was so nice for them to have their own space. They enjoyed the hot tub and kayaks and if we’d had more time they would have used the fishing gear as well. Seward is about 30ish minutes away with typical summer traffic. You’re close to so many trails in the area without being in the touristy zone. Seward is fun when the ships aren’t in but when they’re in it’s pretty busy. You don’t have to worry about that in Moose Pass. Be sure to get your groceries in either Soldotna, Sterling or Seward. Or just enjoy the area restaurants in Cooper Landing or Seward for dinner. You’ll want breakfast there in your chalet though. Don’t forget to feed the beautiful Stellar Jays with the provided peanuts.

Our stay here was wonderful. It had all the amenities we could have needed and more. It was centrally located for everything we had planned so it worked out wonderfully. Everything was very clean and well kept. We would absolutely stay here again.

2025 Moose Pass Visit

This is a great property for a visit to the Seward area. So much to see and do in the area and the house is very clean and comfortable.

Great stay

Stayed here 3 nights in May. Good location to get to Seward or go towards Kenai. Had everything you need to be comfortable. Would stay again.

We re sorry the hot tub was not working due to circumstances beyond our control. This is an extremely rare occurance, and in the past we have been able to upgrade guests to another chalet - thats rarely possible in the summer. Again, our apologies and have made adjustments to the current tarrif war dynamics to enusre we dont get caught up in it agai (hopefully).

We enjoyed our stay at the chalet. Rooms were clean and kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the breakfast casserole on our first morning. The hot tub was clean and a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Would recommend this location when visiting the kenai peninsula.

Great stay in Moose Pass

Terrific cabin located in Moose Pass. Close drive to Seward or Cooper Landing. Beautiful lake and Mountain views. Owner was friendly and was a pleasure to talk to about Alaska. Near by Moose Pass lodge had some of the best food we had in Alaska.

Perfect location

Great location, 30 minutes to seward, and a couple hours to Homer. The hottub was amazing and the views are awesome.

Great Home Base!

We used the chalet as a "home base" to explore around Moose Pass and for adventures around the Kenai Peninsula. It was very clean and cozy, and had all the amenities we needed for a great stay! The hot tub was great-- especially after days of hiking and kayaking.
