Acorn Ridge offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Leatherwood Mountains Resort, a gated community known for its horseback riding, dining, tubing, hiking, fishing, and more. Whether youâre relaxing in the hot tub or grilling on the back deck, this home delivers the perfect mix of mountain charm and comfort.
Step inside to a bright, open kitchen with high-end appliances that flows effortlessly into the vaulted living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace and dining areaâideal for gathering with family and friends. The main level features a primary suite with stunning views and a private bath, plus a coffee bar, pantry, and a convenient half bath.
Downstairs, you'll find one generously sized bedroom with its own bathroom and beautiful views, along with a laundry area for added convenience. Whether you're planning a quiet weekend or a lively getaway, Acorn Ridge is your home base for it all.

This home is located in the 4000-acre Leatherwood Mountain Resort in Ferguson, NC. Our guests are invited to enjoy our Horseback Riding program, where you can experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains' pristine wilderness by Horseback (reservation required). You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, community swimming pool, playground, and tennis courts, creek tubing (seasonal), on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals).
Leatherwood Mountains has surveillance or recording devices on the property. Our neighborhood is very safe, and our property is very secluded. For added peace of mind, we have security cameras by the gated entrance and common areas. Individual properties may also have cameras on the EXTERIOR of homes. Please be assured they are not directed at private areas, hot tub porches, etc.
