Great house for our extended family group. Fully loaded with bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, boards and more, plus carts for hauling. Great location for the bay and lovely village. So glad we chose this house over the resorts as the experience was way better than being crammed in at a resort. Best to north Kauai and the Makana family - Mark and crew from MN

This is the third time we have rented this house. The house is beautiful! The upstairs master bedroom has a view of the mountains with waterfalls. The yard is beautiful and very tropical. It is about a block from town and a little farther to the beach but still within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay.

House and location were amazing! 10 minutes to the most beatiful bay and 5 minutes (walking) to town. The house was fully stocked as well with beach gear, bikes, and just about anything we could ever need for this vacation. Hanalei is an incredible place to stay in Kauai and this house was a perfect location for our 10 day stay with 10 family members. We had plenty of room and beautiful views and landscaping. After a long day of beaches or exploring, it was always so nice to come back to this oasis. The beds were very comfortable and all the towels and linens felt very high end. We will be back to this property for our next Kauai vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at Hanalei Ohana. The house was as described. Beautiful yard and great location that is walkable to both the town and beach. House was well stocked and had everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. Plenty of room for our party of 9.

An extraordinary home. Well equipped in all categories including Toto toilets. Radial design provides privacy yet generous common spaces. Great view of Mt. Nolokama, convenient walk to Hanalei restaurants/shopping as well as the beach. Excellent selection of snorkeling equipment, plentiful beach towels and every beach accessory you could want. Warm outdoor shower hidden in a jungle. Beds very comfortable. This was an ideal place to spend a week with our 3 families.

Best house ever.

We have stayed at many VRBOs, but this was the best. Very efficient process, very responsive management and the house had everything we needed for a great stay. Great location for a week in Hanalei.

Great location, wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is great-- easy to walk to the beach or into town. This home is extremely well-stocked--plenty of linens, towels, beach equipment, and even a well-supplied kitchen (great for guests who like to cook). Outdoor shower was a huge plus. We'd stay there again!

Great House

Beautiful house and grounds, walk to town or beach, surf boards, boogie board, chairs and more. Really nice bedrooms and bath rooms. Fully stocked kitchen. Room to spare with 3 generations.

Kauai Stay

Home was immaculate and had all the necessary supplies. Close to beach and shopping. Weather could have been better and roosters were very loud but overall a great experience for our entire family of 10.

Beautiful property in a very convenient location

This house is spacious and very well appointed and provisioned. The garden is also beautiful. Hanalei Bay is a few blocks away and has lovely swimming, beach walking, swimming, and kayaking opportunities. I would definitely recommend this property and would rent it again.

Paradise vacation

This home was beyond our expectations. It was very spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and lacked for nothing. It was super clean & modern that definitely had the WOW factor. The location was great. It was close to the town as well as the beach. I would definitely recommend highly. Thank you to the owners.

Hanalei surprise home.

Surprise after surprise from the discrete out door shower with hot & cold water to the stream coursing around the back yard with an arboretum of flowers, orchids, bamboo and other beautiful native plants. The house and interior appointments were luxurious. Town center restaurants and the Hanalei Bay just footsteps away. An excellent family experience.

Stay Here! The house was amazing. Stocked with everything. Walking distance to beach, bars, shops.

The property was clean, large and well stocked. Each room was spectacular in its own way and everyone had their own space and bathroom. It came with beach toys, bikes, and other outdoor toys. The walkability was unbeatable. We got up every morning and walked for coffee and took it down to the beach to enjoy. Afternoon was spent checking out the shops and the evening we could walk to dinner. Stay here!

We loved our stay at this home in Hanalei!

We loved our stay at this home in Hanalei! We travel to Kauai multiple times a year and this is one of our favorite rentals ever. I was worried the location was not going to be as close as we like to be to the beach but it turns out this is actually now our preferrred location! So private, close to town AND close to the beach. The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable for our family. The 6 bikes in the garage were so fun to ride around and the air conditioning was a treat! The property management were easy to get a hold of and very helpful. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We will absolutely rent this house again.

Very well designed and maintained with a gorgeous back yard. Very peaceful spot so close to town it is barely a walk at all. It is at the end of a private rd that has no traffic. It really made our vacation relaxing and exceeded my expectations. Tons of stuff like surf boards, bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and even snorkeling gear.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family of five & grandparents to celebrate our son’s graduation from high school. We surfed everyday at Hanalei Bay, cooked big family meals in the wonderfully equipped kitchen, enjoyed bike rides into and around Hanalei, enjoyed many sunset picnics, and loved every minute of our stay. We feel like we found the perfect house in the perfect location and after many many trips to Kauai we all agreed this was the best holiday yet. If you are looking for a fabulous house in the perfect location, steps from shops & restaurants, & 5 minutes from the one of the prettiest beaches on the planet - this is the place to stay! We can’t wait to come back.
