Wonderfully laid out property. 3 levels, 3 Master bedrooms one with a two person jet bath; the other two with showers and a 4th bath/shower for the two twin bedrooms. Two extra sitting or lounging rooms off two master bedrooms. Large deck, two balconies , extra screen room for rainy day games. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of living space and dining room for our 5 adults & 4 children. An easy and pleasant walk to beach and coffee-shave ice-dinner or shopping. No post hurricane issues on the property and area. The majority of required clean up accomplished. Most businesses and restaurants recovered and fully operational. Whole house fan, ceiling fans everywhere and plenty of standing or desk fans made the lack of AC tolerable.

Beautiful house and grounds! It was nice being at the end of a cul-de-sac in a nice area. It was a short walk to the beach and town and just the best location. The host, Clark, was responsive and helpful. We went during Hurricane Lowell so the trip was affected greatly but the house held up. Gas range and large tubs to hold water when we had no power or water a few days. Everything you could need in kitchen to cook and most supplies for a beach trip were available. You have to supply your own personal items like shampoo, body wash etc. We would stay here again if we needed a large house, it’s perfect for family or friend groups.

Great location easy walking distance to a wide sandy beach great for boogie boarding and sandcastles! Walkable to food trucks, restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed by adults and children a like.

Location was excellent and place was super comfortable to hang out with the whole family. Yard was nice and big enough for our 2yo to run around safely. Easy walk to town and beach.

Wonderful house for seven of us just a few minutes walk from Hanalei Bay and the best beach in the world (IMHO).

This property is wonderful and a slice of “old” Kauai! It is equipped with great spaces for families. Kitchen is open format which was nice too.very short walk to the Hanalei Bay beach and was perfect for young children. I wish we could have stayed longer but we were there in a heatwave.

We had a wonderful stay, and hope to be back. The location is unbeatable -- 3 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to Hanalei town by foot -- and we especially loved the large, equipped kitchen and the two enormous primary bedrooms with en suite bathrooms! Smooth and easy to check in and out, and great communication throughout the stay. Thank you!

The location is INCREDIBLE. It was the best location for a family. We were able to get up and have breakfast together and then head down to the beach with the freedom for any one of us to walk down and grab something to eat or head back to the house for a break from the sun. We could all do as we wanted without relying on one rental car taking all of us to one spot and everyone stuck with that spot for the day. The host was great at communicating, sending me all the information we needed, including a way to reach to the cleaners to coordinate check in. Just a great spot!

Relaxing kauai vaca

We loved the proximity of the house to Hanalei Bay Beach & the town. It was a super short easy walk!! The House was a perfect layout for our extended family of 8. The open kitchen, living/Dining layout was great!!

Excellent Hanalei Get Away

This was our second visit and we will be back again. Comfortable, relaxing, clean, fun property to stay at for our extended family. The 5 bedroom common areas layout worked great for three couples and 3 children. The property is a short walk to town and a shorter walk to the beach so you don't need to drive much at all. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were plush! Overall two thumbs up.

Fantastic stay!

Our family and young kids had a great stay at the Taj! Perfect layout for family with different age kids/adults, as two of the bedrooms are isolated from the smaller kid rooms.. Nice walk to town and beach. Property manager available promptly for any issues. Highly recommend!
