The Beachelor Pad has Beach Views!

This beachfront condo has the lowest beach access in Lincoln City, and maybe the entire Oregon Coast.

My little slice of heaven features a full kitchen, two beds, a hide-a-bed, two full bathrooms and password-protected Internet. This is Unit 214 at the historic Sea Gypsy. I call my condo 'The Beachelor Pad.' Read that again: It's The B-E-A-C-H-elor Pad! Although it sounds like a bachelor pad, this is a great condo for families with kids. It can sleep six. The Murphy beds in both sleeping areas fold up against the wall, giving you plenty of room to play. There's a folding table you can pull out for dinner with the family. Chicken wings, anyone?

Large windows in the oceanside suite give you an amazing view of the beach. Watch for harbor seals in the shallow waves below, and the waterspouts of migrating grey whales on the horizon. I've even seen a pod of orca whales heading north in the shallow waves.

My condo is 634 square feet and has two separate sleeping areas that can hold up to 6 vacationers. In the winter of 2018, I made a lot of small improvements that have really improved the experience. For instance, I replaced all my dishes, pots and pans with eloquent replacements. My kitchen would make Anthony Bourdain proud.

The immediate beach access sets the Sea Gypsy apart from other vacation spots on the Oregon coast. Play in the sand, wade in the ocean and go for one of those famous long walks on the beach.

The Sea Gypsy is adjacent to the D River — the shortest river in the world. You're not just beachfront, you're riverfront! Take a 10-minute walk north of the Sea Gypsy to some natural tide pools, where you will find a wide range of sea life, including sea urchins, starfish and other surprises.
