Newly renovated cottage and dock on the lake

You will never want to leave this beautiful lakefront cottage with its own private dock and double jet ski EZ dock. If you prefer to bring your own boat, this is the perfect location as there are several marinas within 10 minutes of the property. On site there are 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available to you during your stay. The paved walkway down to the lake is a gradual slope and easy access for all, making this a great choice for guests of all ages! The house is beautifully updated and has a fully stocked kitchen for your convenience. There are 6 beds available, sleeping 10 comfortably. The newly added master suite has large windows facing the lake and a beautiful porch. Relax in the shade of the porch as you take in the perfect lake views from a custom made bed swing, or enjoy the sun as you sunbathe on the dock or lower deck! This cottage is nestled in a deep water cove, just minutes from big water. “God’s Country”, aka our Clemson Tigers Stadium and Clemson Marina, is a mere 15 minute boat ride or about 20 minutes by car. Additionally, grocery shopping is easy with stores within 8 miles of the lake house. Lake Hartwell is a wonderful place to visit. With over 690 miles of shoreline, it is perfect for a short or long getaway! This charming cottage with easy lake access and incredible views will not disappoint! Please note this is a NON SMOKING property.

Excellent stay

Timberlane Cottage had everything you could ever want and was a great spot for our extended family vacation. It was beautifully decorated and so relaxing to just float off the dock. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The Best Week in a beautiful home

My husband and I had the best week celebrating our 2nd Anniversary! The home and the dock are beautiful and so clean. It was simply the best trip and we couldn’t have asked for a better home to stay in. The owners were so nice and accommodating! The best lake house we have stayed in so far and we will be back! Wonderful lake vacation

This house was perfect for our party of five (4 adults & 1 teenager). Very clean and well furnished. The owners are really nice and easy to work with. We had a lot of fun swimming, kayaking, and cruising around on the paddle boards. We had a wonderful lake vacation.

Great Stay

The house was even better than expected. It was very clean and taken care of and had a ton of nice personal touches. The kitchen was stocked much better than other homes we have rented and we found everything we needed. Beds were comfortable in all of the rooms.

Relaxing Vacation

Our family truly enjoyed our vacation. We loved sitting on the patio admiring the lake view. The kids enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks, and lily pad. It was nice to be able to swim off the dock. We would definitely vacation here again. Grocery stores in Anderson were convenient to drive too.

Great place to relax

We visited our Clemson student daughter for her birthday weekend. This was a great spot to have family over for a day on the lake and spending time together. The layout of the home , the decor and the lot are all as described and were great! The gentle slope to the lake was great access. We want to come back next year!

We came to town from Cincinnati and wanted a place to stay for the Clemson game.

This property was beyond what the pictures showed on VRBO. The house was like something out of a magazine. We truly felt like we were on vacation. My son graduates next year and we Will absolutely stay here next year. I highly recommend this house!!!!!!

Great Stay for a Clemson Game

We stayed hear for a football game weekend and had a great time. We enjoyed the activities on the lake and there was plenty to do...swimming, fishing, kayaking, and haning out on the beautiful outdoor patio. We enjoyed our evenings on the patio sitting around the fire and watching TV. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Lots of room and big beds for sleeping. Great hosts!

A Wonderful Lake House

We loved staying at your beautiful lake home! The covered deck with the huge swing was so nice every morning! The nice little walk to the lake was so easy and beautiful! Your dock and big jump pad made for great memories with my children and grandchildren! The beds were very comfortable and we loved your decor throughout the house! The kitchen was well stocked and very organized! We will be returning to this lake house again to enjoy family time!

Adorable lake house

This house was great. Exactly as listed and pictured. Owners went above and beyond to be helpful! Impeccably clean property! All the reviews were accurate about the beds being very comfortable. My only wish is that we could have parked our bass boat under the covered dock. Will be back!

FANTASTIC!!

We LOVED this property! From the meticulously decorated interior, to the outdoor seating area, to the dock that we could see from the house…..this property was absolutely everything we needed. Great Stay

Our family of 5 had a great experience staying here. The patio was everything we hoped for. Our 3 young kids had a great time playing in the yard and the lake was an easy walk down the paved sidewalk. We rented a boat and docked it on the side of the deck. The area of the lake is a nice and calm. Very close to the big water as well. Indoors was exactly like the pictures suggest, clean, spacious, well stocked, and homey. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and already miss the patio swing!

Hospitality beyond comparison

This charming lake cottage in the foothills of SC checked all the boxes and provided the perfect "home base" for our Fall vacation adventures. The owners left no stone unturned. From the warm personalized welcome on a message board, to the tastefully warm and beautifully decorated interior, to a cozy outdoor living space with fireplace overlooking Lake Hartwell...this VRBO experience was by far the best! There were so many extras...it felt like we were staying with family. The level of hospitality was beyond comparison.

Absolutely beautiful

We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our vacation! This place is beautiful and extremely clean. The house had everything we needed and much more. Awesome!!

The house was beautiful, very clean, well decorated and stocked with essentials that many other rental homes are not- like dish soap, detergent and garbage bags. It’s even better than we expected. The owners were lovely to deal with. Great location for a Clemson game, close enough to be there quickly but far away enough from the crowds. My children ages 9-18 made use of the kayaks and paddle boards. We all enjoyed the porch, the setting is beautiful. I would highly recommend staying at this house!

Amazing!

Loved everything about this lake home! We stayed here a few days before/after moving our daughter into Clemson. Being from NY, we were not familiar with the area- but had a cousin living a mile away on Lake Hartwell. He was able to pull up to our dock with his pontoon and we had the best tour guide ever! The home is beautifully furnished with comfy beds- and the kitchen has everything you need. Will definitely return! Thank you Stacie!

Cousins' weekend!

Timberlane Cottage was perfect for our fall cousins' weekend! The property has undergone a recent renovation and the owners were very attentive to detail. Inside space is comfortable and conducive to gatherings. Kitchen is well-equipped and has great storage. We all slept very well and appreciate the abundance of towels provided. We spent most of our time on the covered porch and deck overlooking the lake. The weather was crisp and the firepit provided warmth and ambiance. Owners Stacey and Matt were very responsive to our requests and made us feel very much at home!
