Great local flavor

Really appreciated the attention to detail to the local neighborhood. Cozy for just two of us and easy access to main square or plaza. Enjoyed the shopping, history tour by local historian, Ana, and hiking nearby. Everything was there in the casita except shampoo that I needed and couldn’t find. Used the patio a lot.

Great location!

It is a very nice property, with many amenities and stocked kitchen. Our son, who lives in the area, stayed with us a night and we all enjoyed the clean and well-decorated unit. But for a heater snafu before we arrived that caused an electrical smell in the unit, the rating would have been five instead of four stars. Check in at 4, instead of 3 like most places, was also not ideal, but maybe that's me.

Clean, close and hostess extremely responsive

Most enjoyable... this casita is very clean, in a quiet neighborhood and within an easy 1/2-mile walk to the Plaza. Hostess responded immediately and appropriately to what few questions or concerns we had.

Good Santa Fe getaway

We loved the location, layout and interior design of this property. Plenty of room to spread out and we really enjoyed the enclosed patio for morning coffee. The property description clearly states that there is no air conditioning and our first day there was VERY hot. They do have fans--which I mistakenly interpreted as ceiling fans, but they are portable fans--but could use more. I don't think we'd stay there in hot weather again unless we knew that a window unit air conditioner and/or ceiling fans had been added. However, this might not bother people who are used to no air conditioning or are coming from a much more humid climate. I think it would be cozy in the winter (wood stoves)! We also appreciated the dedicated parking spot.

Excellent location and wonderful property

I would certainly stay here again. I contracted the flu just after landing in SF, and Diane was very responsive when we asked to stay an additional night to continue recuperating. I spend additional time in the casita, because I was ill, and it was a comfortable, accommodating place to get better, as much as it was an excellent base from which to walk in to the city for my partner.

Santa Fe Stay

The casita was clean and nicely decorated, the patio was enjoyable and the bed was super comfy. In addition, it was an easy walk from the casita to the Plaza. However, there was no TV in the livingroom and no coffee for the 3 coffee makers in the kitchen. And finally, a mirror in front of the toilet? Not appreciated. Bottom line, we enjoyed our stay at the casita and would recommend it to others - with a warning about the bathroom mirror and a reminder to BYOC.

Great place to stay while visiting Santa Fe

The casita is the perfect place to stay in Santa Fe. It is so well cared for and has everything to make it a comfortable visit. The parking spot is such a good bonus and being able to walk to so many museums, restaurants, and the plaza makes it even better.

Ten day vacation sit to Santa Fe

What a lovely casita. It was beautifully appointed with everything necessary: towels, sheets, bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies. The patio was a lovely addition to the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Location is wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Santa Fe.

Beautiful casita near downtown!

We couldn't have been more impressed with the house and the host!! Diane couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely decorated home with all the amenities needed for your stay. Located on a dead end street so very little traffic and so peaceful at night!! We loved the private outside porch the most. Great for morning coffee/breakfast as well as eating dinner out there!! With such beautiful weather, we spend most of our time out there when we were at the house!! We highly recommend this place for your next stay in Santa Fe!! You will not be disappointed!!

I love that this is an historic neighborhood and it could not be more centrally located. It is quiet and charming and within walking distance of the Plaza (Lensic Performing Arts Center, Galleries, Museums, Restaurants, Shopping), the Railyard District (Galleries, Shopping, Violet Crown Movie Theatre, Farmer's Market, Artisan's Market, and more). Canyon Road is just a slightly longer walk for those who are up to it.
