Well stocked, comfortable stay

Great cabin, not too far up the Tahoe-Donner hill so still relatively close to town and the lake. Very well stocked kitchen so you can cook whatever you like. Main floor master bed is very comfortable.

Great Place in Tahoe-Donner

This house/cabin is amazing. Very Clean, very homey, love the porch/deck outside. Very well stocked kitchen-even though we didn't use anything except the coffee pot. Truly a great vacation spot. Really can't say enough good things about the place and the owners are very responsive to every questions-no matter how dumb mine were!

Great Home Away From Home

Just spent five nights here with my family of four. The house had everything we needed, and the location is excellent and central to where we needed to be. We will happily return for our next trip to Tahoe.

Beautiful home away from home

Stunning property that matched the descriptions provided in the listing. It’s a beautiful location with snow all around the property. Fun for the kids to play with very little traffic. Beautiful neighborhood. Greatly appreciate this property excepts pets. It was our dogs first trip to the snow. We will definitely be booking this location in the future.

Thanksgiving in Tahoe Donner

This immaculate home was perfect for Thanksgiving week visiting with our daughter who lives in the area and hosting the family dinner. Close to Truckee and the North Tahoe area slopes, we were able to take advantage of the early winter weather, abundant dining and window shopping!

Summer at Truckee.

We came up for our Family reunion. The cabin was great for my Parents, daughter and I. It had plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment. It was very clean and user-friendly.

Sisters trip

Our stay was great. Our ‘home’ was everything we could hope for. The check in directions/process was a bit confusing and the key extremely difficult to work- but just as we were calling the owner, finally figured it out. When we had questions or concerns the owner was cooperative and quick to respond. The lawn furniture depicted in the photos was actually in storage in the basement. We were able to put it out but not without a little struggle. The television system is confusing and future renters would benefit from some (updated) instructions. The ones that are provided are apparently from a previous system as it makes reference to components that aren’t even there. The kitchen was very well stocked. The spices/condiments available for use was wonderful. It was the third day before we were able to find the (advertised) free coffee. If we had counted on using that our first morning, we would have been disappointed. The check out requirements were a bit excessive and some impossible to do. In summary: The place is great but many of the homes amenities require work to figure out/understand and/or find. Visitors could benefit from a better welcome packet of details.

Nice place in convenient location

My husband and I came up to Tahoe with some friends, originally to do a long hike in Palisades (that unfortunately got canceled due to thunderstorms). Check in and check out instructions were mostly helpful, but was rather involving. It would have been a much better experience if the house was fully prepped for our arrival and fully handled upon our departure. Getting charged a cleaning fee on top of doing a lot of cleaning steps didn't feel great. Space itself was nice enough, and I found the bed I slept on and the sofa to be pretty comfortable. Would have been nice if the dining room chairs had thicker cushions, as they were rather stiff and not very comfortable to sit on for longer periods of time. The main bathroom downstairs we used was pretty nice, and I really liked how spacious the fridge was. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of dishes and cutlery, which was nice. Overall, it worked out for our trip and our group size, and was a decent place to be stuck indoors while it was raining.

Summer wedding in Truckee

Family with two adult children stayed for five days and found the house to be very comfortable and exactly what we needed while we attended wedding related events in the Truckee-Tahoe area. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and enough space for 4 people. We appreciated the fact that a few necessities like coffee, laundry detergent, body wash, etc. were provided.
